Ford Bronco Purchase

5 out of 5 starsby haynesc on 01/01/2025

Contacted on a Thursday, went in and purchased on a Saturday and picked it up on Tuesday. Super Easy and Jerome was a helpful and knowable salesman along with Austin for his help with financing.

  • Threatened to have warranty cancelled!

2 out of 5 starsby lowgrey on 07/23/2008

I was in there ready to purchase a brand new F-150 (the wife was signing a deposit check for the vehicle), and the service advisor comes up and tells me we need $1800 worth of maintenance on our Escape that had less than 24K miles on it, and it won't pass the state inspection as is. New tires, new brakes, alignment, and a host of other expenses. I told him that was ridiculous and that it's basically a new vehicle and asked him why the warranty wouldn't cover at least the brakes and alignment. He walked away for a little bit, but came back up in what came off as a very condenscending manner and told me it needs to be done or he will void the warranty. I ripped up the check for the F-150, told the sales guy he lost a sale, and asked for the vehilce to be pulled back around. Took it to down to [violative content deleted] instead, and just got charge for an alignment and my inspection sticker which was under $200. Oh yeah... my brakes also started clicking after being there, which wasn't happening when I brought it in.
  • Overpriced Ripoff

    1.8 out of 5 starsby jha3 on 04/25/2008

This is not the Bankston service of old that used to be on LBJ Freeway just west of the North Dallas Tollway. Auto Nation purchased and service ceased. But they have to pay for the new facility some how - by overcharging customers. Labor rates way out of line at $100+ per hour. And labor hour allowances/charges for repairs 200-400% higher than actual time nedded by qualied mechanics to do the same work. Customer Ripoof Representative, wrote on my ticket (after I had signed it to drop off my car) that I would be responsible for a $100 diagnosis if I did not have Bankston do the work quoted on my Lincoln. He never mentioned this beforehand, although I know it is common to charge some smaller fee. The point is he did not discuss it up front, and tried to imply that he did by writing it on a ticket I had already signed. Bankston Body Shop took 4 months to repair my wrecked car when they originally quoted me three weeks. Kept trying to have me accept it with shoddy repairs (pointed out to me confidentially by a Bankston body shop employee. Through a bunch of car parts onto the leather back seats. Much more... I have always puchased American cars knowing the quality suffers somewhat against many foreign automakers. But normally my service was always good. Not anymore at Bankston. I must now vote with my wallet and seek better made cars and service offered by another dealership.
  • Best sales experience EVER, and I've bought a lot of Fords!

    4.8 out of 5 starsby ericakaye1 on 12/06/2007

I am the 3rd generation owner of a lawn care company, and every vehicle we have had for the business has been a Ford, not to mention most of the family personal vehicles as well. We have been to several Ford dealers, and last month when we bought 3 new trucks from Bankston it was the best experience yet. Their staff is knowledgable and talked to us like normail people. No sales gimmicks, no promises, no brown-nosing. When you sit down with them they bring you at a professionla looking sheet with all your term and interest rate options so you can see exactly what your're looking at. No scribbled sheet with math that doesn't add up. And since the sale they have checked on us, but they didn't call me 20 times wanting to know when i was gonna send my friends in. They even sent me cookies in the mail as a thank you. I even ordered bed liners, navigation systems, and tool boxes from them and they gave me a real fair price and great service.
  • Kudos to Shana!

My wife and I purchased a 2013 Ford Escape from Shana G at AutoNation Frisco. After shopping around at different dealerships, the experience with Shana, Carter, and the rest of the staff at AutoNation Frisco was pleasantly different. Instead of the high-pressure atmosphere common at other places, Shana and Carter were customer-friendly, patient, and helpful. Shana found extra rebates that we qualified for to help us reach a price that made us comfortable. The treatment we received from them made us want to buy from AutoNation.

I contacted AutoNation Ford Frisco re: a New 2013 Ford F-150 SuperCrew. Susan K. answered my call, and from this point the buying experience was Great!!! Susan went out of her way to meet/beat a competitor's price. However, I purchased my new F-150 with more options than the competitors truck. In 24 hrs. I went from a phone call to an awesome buying experience with Susan K at AutoNation Ford Frisco. Most of all, I LOVE my new 2013 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Lariat. Thank You Susan for making my purchase a GREAT Experience!!!! :)

Loved working with Susan K. at Auto Nations. She listened and most important she is not "pushy" like most of the car sales MEN that I have worked with in the past. Great experience!

Scott A. Sr. from AutoNation Ford Frisco made our car buying experience quick and painless. What he quoted us was what was delivered. Then upon further review of our agreement we found out that not only did Scott stick to his word, but in order to do so went ahead and gave us an extra 1,000 on our trade in! This was the best process of car buying my husband and I have ever had and will return to buy future vehicles ONLY from Scott.
    • BJ, we are happy you enjoyed your recent experience at our location! Our goal is for all our customers to enjoy a stress and worry free experience, and we’re glad Scott delivered on our promise of providing exceptional service. If there is ever anything else we can do for you, please give us a call!

  • When Was The Last Time You Had Fun Buying A Car?

5 out of 5 starsby prosperscott on 02/13/2013

Mine was two weeks ago at AutoNation Ford Frisco. Dealt with Cheyne P. in sales and John R. in finance. Both were great at what they do. Met Cheyne 3 years ago when I was trying to buy a new model and they did not have unit I wanted. Since then, dropped in every once and a while and he always remembered me by name and remembered every car I ever looked at the times before. When they had a car I liked at a time I was looking, Cheyne was knowledgeable and explained more about the car than everyone else at every other dealership combined. Everyone there was attentive without being overbearing. The managers sit right in the main showroom without being separated by glass and are totally accessible. The deal was very fair and somehow got even better by the time I was done in finance without me even asking for anything more. Do not miss a chance to do a deal with these people. They made buying a car fun.

  • Fantastic

Our experience at AutoNation Ford Frisco was fantastic! We had shopped at another local Ford dealership earlier in the day and the difference was profound. We walked into AutoNation and the professionalism, friendliness, and overall attitude of the employees made us feel comfortable and as if they had our best interest in mind. While we understand the car buying business is set up for them to make money and us as the consumer to get the best deal, our salesperson Susan, got us the deal we were looking for and wanted to be sure we understood exactly what she was doing and why. The vehicle we were after, including specific features was not on their lot, but she personally drove one and instead of making us wait to see one, she just showed us hers! We appreciated the warm spirits, friendly atmosphere and would recommend AutoNation Ford Frisco to our family and friends and will return again!

I recently purchased a 2014 Expedition XLT EL and it was the best vehicle buying experience I have ever had! They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and thorough. Everyone in the dealership from the sales associate to the general manager made me feel like family! I definitely recommend that you visit them first and give them the first shot at your business...you will not be disappointed!

I responded to an internet ad for a new Ford Fiesta at AutoNation Frisco by phone at first. I worked out the details with the salesman on a particular car with 5 miles on it, according to the ad and a unique stock number. The deal was set, pending a test drive, as Frisco was 50 miles away. I test drove the Fiesta and just loved it. It’s a great car and the price was right. That’s when everything else, including trust, went right down the drain. Deception #1: After agreeing to buy the car, the salesman told me he had to change the menu, or what I’d call an estimate that I’d received in an email. I asked him why and he replied that it wasn’t the same stock number. That’s when bells went off in my head. I immediately went out to the car and looked at the odometer. It read over 200 miles. It was not the same car. The salesman told me that the car I wanted went out on loan. I told him that I didn’t want a car with 200 miles on it, as I didn’t know who had driven it 200 miles, and it was also dirty inside the engine compartment and where the hatchback opens. They offered me free rear carpets and $100 off. Really? Deception #2: I asked if there were any more of that type of black hatchback in stock and he replied, “no”. After pacing around the showroom a little longer wondering what to do, I decided to take a look for myself and walked out onto the lot. I found two more black Ford Fiesta hatchbacks on the lot with the exact same MSRP and features as the one I had test driven. By now I was fuming. I turned to come back into the showroom when the salesman came out with a few sets of keys in his hand, which turned out to be the keys to the three Fiesta hatchbacks, one of which was silver, in the lot. Deception #3: When I asked him why he lied to me about there being no more in the lot, he replied that his manager had made the deal on the one with 200 miles at that price. I simply replied that if that was the case, then he wouldn’t have had to change the “menu” to a different car, now would he. He had no answer for that question. It turns out that the two black hatchbacks on the lot had 8 and 11 miles on them. He then told me he thought he could get the same deal as the other car. Again….really? I bought the one with 8 miles on it, but only because I was tired of looking around and the car was exactly the one I wanted. I got the deal on it and the finance manager was very courteous and professional, but I left the dealership very unhappy that I had done business with them. A few days later I actually got an email from the salesman asking to recommend AutoNation Frisco on several consumer review websites. Seriously? About three weeks later I completed an online survey and told about my experience at AutoNation Frisco. A few days later I received a call from the dealership who wanted to hear it from me personally what had happened. I simply told her what had happened above and she sounded very concerned. She asked if I lived close to the dealership and I told her, “no”. Then she indicated that they could have somehow worked out some type of compensation with me through free maintenance for my bad experience. She also said that she intended to have a talk with the salesman and she would call me back. That was over two weeks ago and so far, no call. That was just adding insult to injury. I finally emailed the General Sales Manager and as if by magic…..no reply. A nice bait and switch, two out and out lies and a less than half hearted attempt to make amends, followed by “not interested” no reply. Worst car buying experience I’ve had in over 40 years of doing so. Just plain awful.
  • Bad Out of State Purchase Experience

1 out of 5 starsby punchlinej on 06/03/2014
    updated 09/20/2025

I purchased my car sight unseen from another state and made the mistake of trusting what the salesperson told me. After completing the transaction and paying to have the car delivered I found that there were quite a few issues with the vehicle that were not disclosed. I also received a carfax report from the seller saying no accidents but it is very apparent that my vehicle had been in some type of bang up on the front end. After expressing my issues with the salesperson, I've yet to get a response.
    • Thanks for leaving us this response. We understand your frustrations with the discrepancies regarding the condition of your car. If you would be willing, please call our General Manager directly at (972) 763-5523 for further assistance with moving forward. Thanks for leaving your feedback, and we hope to hear from you in the future.

  • 2010 Honda Pilot Touring

    updated 09/20/2025

I have been looking a Honda Pilot for over a year. Every time that I found a good deal, by the time I get to the dealership to have a look, it had already been sold to a Honda dealership. Mark B. posted the Pilot online. He gave me a chance to meet him and setup the deal. He made time in his schedule for me to stop by after work around 7pm. Just 2 weeks later we already made a 800 mile trip and had great ride while pulling a trailer. Plus we also drove along the lake shore too.

I was having difficulty finding a Focus with the specific options I wanted. In particular, one with a manual transmission. I'm not sure why, but people don't want a manual anymore. The sales persons at Auto Nation were very diligent about finding me the vehicle at another dealership and promptly brought into the Frisco dealership where I purchased it.
  • Easy and Non Stressful purchase of a 2014 Ford Titanium FWD Escape

Mid afternoon I was on the Web just looking at the new 2014 Escapes after registering for a new X-Plan pin. After putting my contact info in online I was contacted by phone within minutes of my search by a Sales Rep Named Susan K. at AutoNation Frisco. She asked if she could help and asked a few questions like my time frame and preferences for purchase. We talked for a few minutes more and I said she could email the details on models I maybe interested in and in stock. I received the info minutes later and after review the details called her back and said my wife and I would be in later. When we arrived we met Susan and it was her low key sales approach and the feeling she truly wanted to help us that we decided to take test drive. After taking the 2014 Escape test ride I was even more interested and Susan helped narrow my search. We loved the White Platinum Tri-Coat Titanium model and started the buying process. We received a fair trade for our 2003 Focus and excellent price and a buying experience that was relaxed not stressful and within three or four hours looking on the web we had a brand new 2014 Titanium FWD Escape that we didn't even know we were purchasing that day. Good Job Susan!!
