  • Quick Excellent Service

    You know how, inevitably, there’s always unpredictable traffic in Austin? Well, I inevitably got caught up in it and called to inform the service department that i was going to be late to my scheduled service appointment by a few to several minutes. They informed me that I’d still fall within their grace period. Upon arriving there were quite a few vehicles lined up in their service bays and thought “Oh no… I’m (or my vehicle’s) going to be here all day.” But to my surprise they attended me very quickly. Unfortunately this Toyota location doesn’t offer a ride service, but it’s not the end of the world. The staff that attended me was very nice and knowledgeable! They informed me of the services that were provided and what they recommended. They didn’t try to push anything onto me, which was a relief. I’ve noticed no Toyota dealerships’ service department has yet tried to push some additional fee hundred dollar services that aren’t absolutely required. Unlike other make dealerships. All in all I had a great experience here! I recommend Toyota owners take their vehicles here for service.

  • 8 Hours and my car's still not fixed?!!

    Went for my 80k check and for a noise my car was making. Service guy knew right away it was a wheel bearing. Once confirmed, told me it would be 2 hours (That's on top of the usual 3 hours for a regular service check). Came 2 hours later and told me they couldn't find the part they thought they had and would have to go pick it up. Wait they were supposed to be done and just realized they didn't have the part? 2 hours later (been there 7 hours now) came and told me they thought there were done but then the brake light came on. They "ordered the right part but got the wrong part and the parts look exactly the same" so no one caught it until the brake light came on. I had to go home with the brake light on and am still waiting for the promised courtesy ride to get it fixed. They also tried to change it on me and make me come back in even though my service rep had promised me a ride. When I refused, he said they'd call me "after the holiday" to schedule. We'll see...

  • Honest with their time

    I had a recall on my car and the gentleman that helped was honest with me and told me that to check the recall, it can take anywhere between 2 hours up to 3. It ended up taking 3 hours, but the upfront honesty is what I valued.

    This business is a well oiled machine. But, what really impressed me was the customer service. Let's face it, most places don't care about customer service anymore. Truly, that is not the case here. Kudos! Keep up the good work. Specifically, Bella Hernandez was the best!

  • Not what they used to be :(

    This has always been my go to dealership and where I bought my cars for over 20 years, but their customer service has deteriorated and it is always crowded :( This last time I had to pay them $150 for one diagnostic code when I got 3 codes from OReillys for free! It seems they used that one code to tell me I need to pay $4400 for a new hybrid battery :( I did my own research and know there are many alternatives :( I think I will have to find a new place :(

    Very prompt and even gave me a wait time, thank you very helpful. Went over suggested maintenance that wasn’t covered but had to have her write it down for me. Next level service would be reviewing that with me when scheduling my appointment so I could have it all done at once and have an expectation for financial expectations.

  • 07 Prius Fuel Pump Disappointment

    Turns out that the 07 Prius fuel pump is integrated into the fuel tank. The assembly is $1980 but I did not not know that until the tank was removed for $650. By then I had no other options but to replace it. Total was $2880. There has to be a better way to help the owner of a bad-idea fuel pump. Of course, Toyota did not use that integrated assembly any more after 2007.

    I was very pleased with everything at the dealership. This was my first visit to get my car serviced with this Toyota. I had previously went to the one on Research Blvd. Everything was much better here!

  • Oil change

    As I arrived I was greeted then approached by a team member with a printout of a bill for approval. I responded that I have a warranty for all services he asked are you sure? I said yes then he asked if I bought an additional warranty and I verified for a third time yes. Then he proceeded to walk me to the computer for further verification. I then waited for almost 2 hours for an oil change. I have been a Toyota customer for over 13 years and recently the oil changes are taking hours to complete. I made my appt first thing in the morning but it made no difference. I wasn’t given a timeframe but knew it wasn’t going to be timely from last few visits.

    I bought a new car 10 years ago from AutoNation Toyota. I've had really good experiences with them ever since. We got free oil changes for life with that car and so have been in regularly. We've been so pleased with it, we bought another brand new vehicle a few months ag.

    So I recently purchased my 2021 Corolla, and wanted to send my thanks and appreciation to everyone who helped me out! From Angel in sales whose initial information and honesty helped me make the right and timely decision, to Danny in sales who had some excellent tips and recommendations on wheels, and finally to Melissa in Finance who went above and beyond in all ways and helped me rectify a mistake I had made…..I couldn’t be more satisfied or recommend anyone more. I plan to come back here when I upgrade to a truck in the next few years. This whole experience was a complete 180 from my last dealings with a dealership (ironically which is right down the street from them) where I was lied to and screwed out of things that were promised when I bought my new Dodge Challenger about a decade ago. So thank you all so much!

    This is my 3rd time getting a vehicle from auto nation everytime it was a very nice experience,my second time I was in and out within 45 minutes, this last all was swell but that day they were under staffed and it was a very long wait period.Carl Brooks is an excellent salesman and I have told him since day one that I would refer anyone to auto nation..

  • Total Ripoff

    Went in for service light on startup, even though I had just been in for oil change 3 months ago. Said I needed air condition cleaning and throttle service. Car was done in 1 hour 15 minutes. Bill $500, no parts. Will not bring there again unless desperate, and will not buy a car there again.

  • Brakes

    So we came in with what we thought was a suspension issue and after taking the time to truly evaluate the car and found out the brakes were the actual problem. When we had issues with the breaks immediately after service they took the car back and fixed their work and were also able to get our warranty to cover some work while they had the car. Gabby is awesome and treated us like a part of her family.
