    Everything was great except for the time that I had to wait - 3-4 hours with an appointment. That's probably not the company's fault. They're probably short-staffed.

    We strongly recommend you visit, deal and purchase your car at Toyota Auto Nation South. Mr Leo Dawson took care of us and kept us updated when the vehicle we were looking for was in stock. He was very pleasant to work with, listened to our requests and got exactly the type of vehicle we were looking for and provided us a good deal. Our experience was worth every penny. In addition, Mr. Valdes, sales manager provided us excellent customer services with our trade in and was very transparent, honest and provided a pleasant business transaction.   • My first truck!

    My experience with AutoNation was a positive one. I purchased a 2022 Toyota Tacoma, which is exactly what I wanted from the start. They had one Tacoma on the lot, so I didn’t have the chance to sleep on the offer like I wished I could and had to act relatively quickly. My sales rep, Amiel, was pretty good. Two reasons I deducted a star are: 1) Laura told me during the signing of my documents that when I picked up the truck the following morning, I would be shown all the bells and whistles that the truck had to offer. Unfortunately, this never happened. Since I had an older car (2008), I have never had any of the newest technologies vehicles now have, so it has taken me a lot of time and research to figure out what all my truck offers. Thankful for YouTube! It was also upsetting to learn that my truck did not come with the lane departure feature, which I find really helpful in modern vehicles, and I expressed that I wanted it. My truck has everything except this, and to be honest, if I had known that, I do not think I would have purchased this particular truck and would have waited. 2) oddly enough, my truck did not come with floor mats, and I was left to figure out what I needed to get the mats explicitly made for my truck. You would think that after spending over $30k for a vehicle, floor mats of all things would be included, but…..you would be wrong. The day I drove the truck off the lot, I contacted the Parts Department of AutoNation (a separate building and entity). However, I hit a brick wall after the next and eventually gave up (I left a negative review for them). I finally figured out on my own what I needed to do and ordered them online, and had them shipped to me. When I texted my sales rep about the problems I was having with Parts Department, he stated, “….actually, would have to come into the parts department to order or call. They sometimes put you on hold when they’re busy. I am not at work today, but I can find out for you tomorrow when I’m back” Unfortunately, I never heard from him again, which was unfortunate. I now have my $200 floor mats, though. Those are my only two complaints. Overall, my purchase went very well. The truck was detailed very nice and the gas tank was filled all the way. The finance manager, Darren, was helpful, and I appreciate the offer they managed to get me and the advice regarding how to increase my credit score for the future. Laura did a good job explaining GAP coverage, etc. Thanks, AutoNation!

    I highly recommend you make your car need purchases here. Michael Fonseca takes care of me as his family. Very honest, the greatest service, Toyota AutoNation South Austin has an amazing inventory (I got exactly the type of vehicle I was looking for and more!) and it's worth every penny. I have purchased cars before in other dealers but always got a sour experience afterward. From the moment I sat with Michael, I told him what I was looking for, and he was straightforward with the information, diligent to show car options in my budget, very clear about the pricing, how much my payments options were after my downpayment and all credit options (Their bank is amazing to work with). Previously I was in a Nissan Preowned dealer, 45 mins into asking the associate if they have what I was looking for: they showed me awful options, treated me like I'm an idiot, and even showed me a car with body damages for me to buy (WTF!) I had 5k for my down payment. The scumbags even try to make me sign a paper where I wrote previously what I was looking for in a car. I politely told them not to waste my time. So the manager stop me at the door and try to convince me to go back playing dumb in not knowing what was going on. Please DO NOT BUY THERE! Obviously, I just walked away, thinking I've definitely will tell my experience with these people. Michael with Toyota AutoNation showed me their high standards with their transparency and financing options. I couldn't be happier. I got a great deal, the setup for my car payments was easy online, and after a pleasant business transaction, I drove away in my new car. I bought the car for my wife, we upgraded because we have a newborn, and she couldn't drive her small sedan anymore. Baby car seat, stroller, and all the new tools for a family to carry around, everything fits great. Family is the most important for us and she is very happy, we got an awesome SUV from TAN.     Jared took care of our maintenance needs. My vehicle broke down on the highway, so we towed it to AutoNation. Jared was very professional and attentive to our needs as I was to go out of town the next day. He quickly sprang into action and made sure our radiator was fixed as quickly as possible. Certainly will go back again for any future vehicle service.

    Auto Nation's service department has been very good. I had my gas tank replaced under warranty. I was kept informed of the repair's progress and they had a welk equipped waiting room with TVs, snacks, and tables and chairs so I could work on my computer while I waited. My service rep Tony Sabatino was personable and communicated with me clearly.

    BUYER BEWARE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Be prepared to be taken advantage of. They will not tell you a price on the phone, give you options, or tell you what anything costs... they will source the most expensive parts, tires, and even if you tell them to take them off, you're stuck. The manager, Keith Hennesy will try to convince you he's doing the right thing, but really they just care about taking you for as much money as possible. They're suggest a "not a big deal, we can take care of it for you" services, and then blindly charge you $450 for a service you didn't need, or want. Charge you $150 PER TIRE, then pay to have the installed, and another $100 tire disposal.... I WANTED THE TIRES! AVOID AT ALL COST. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

  • Car key

    I am a regular customer. I bought a couple cars from there. I recently visited for the service and I asked for an extra key. I did not ask the price as I thought it would be $50 as I was said at the time of purchase. I was not given any quotes and when I was called to get the car I was changed $439 for oil change , wiper and the Key. I would have changed my mind about key which cost me $300 if they quoted me price earlier. I felt being cheated.

  • 90k Mile Maintenance Plan has been Amazing

    After 90 thousand miles, I'm so glad I purchased the maintenance plan for my Camry. Every couple/few months, I just make an appointment or swing by and get high quality service from the Toyota experts. It's given me tremendous peace of mind. Sometimes it takes a while, but I like the spacious waiting room and I bring my laptop so I can get some work done while I wait. Overall, the service staff has been super chill and easy to work with and the technicians have been great - much better than Charles Maund Toyota where I had a very negative experience with pushy, rude service staff. I recently took my Hybrid Camry in at the 90k mark for my last service covered under the maintenance package. The technician noticed a steering problem that I had been ignoring and investigated it. They said it would be $89 for the diagnostic, but depending on what it was, they could look into it as a warranty claim or apply the diagnostic fee towards the repairs if I had to pay out-of-pocket for them. Turns out it was all covered by the warranty - thank God for the extended warranty coverage! I've been very satisfied with the service and quality of work. My favorite Service Advisor there has been Tony Sabatino, he's been the most friendly, helpful and easy-going rep I've ever worked with at a dealership! Overall, the while has been great. Thanks, AutoNation Toyota...y'all rock!

    Recently towed in my car for repair. Service agent Epi both professional and kind got them to fix it soon and well. Have never needed a different service shop. Easy to reach, comfortable roomy wait area, delicious complimentary coffee, reliable repairs. Epi is the greatest.
