The Little Brother
by Charlie on 03/25/2020Every journey begins with the first mile and I am elated to have been assisted with beginning my journey. I drove an Impreza, I absolutely loved the vehicle; the safety aspects, the vehicle specs, the sporty look, and I trust the name… brand. However I started to realize that I would one day outgrow my compact vehicle. I spoke with Jade over at sales about possibly trading in my Impreza for a Forester for months. This conceptual idea shortly evolved into a goal, and she helped make it happen. For nearly 3 months we met in several short sessions to figure out which Forester was best suited for my financial situation. Originally I had planned to finance a used vehicle, but Jade along with my father had enlightened me to finance a new vehicle, given that it would be around the same price. Finally Jade had helped me find a 2020 Forester Sport that I loved, the only downside was that it was a little out of my budget once my negative equity was added. But that did not stop Jade, who fought persistently to ensure that I got a great deal. Jade got me a deal that you can’t find anywhere else, and she was willing to work with me to make sure that I was able to drive the car that I wanted. You simply cannot find a place as tightly knit as Austin Subaru, where everyone is like a family. With the deal that I was given I felt like I was Jade’s little brother. Love really does make a Subaru a Subaru, and I am certain that the amazing and hardworking people at Austin Subaru understand this.Salesman at Austin Subaru

Tony was incredibly helpful and made sure that I left with exactly what I wanted out of a new car. I thought I had a good handle on all the tech… associated with the new forester but I’m glad he gave me a walkthrough anyways. Misty Martin is the absolute best customer sales rep I've ever experienced. Sonny, design rep, was also fantastic.… Even Jeremy, finance, was over the top fantastic. Rarely have I ever left a dealership feeling as great about a purchase as I did with this one. Love the car and looking forward to many years of pleasant driving experiences. Excellent as usual

Previously I bought a certified used Subaru and this more recent purchase was for a 2020 Outback Onyx XT that had to be factory ordered. Tony, my… salesman, was very easy to work with. Since I did a factory order I had to wait a couple months for it to come in. During that tie I had questions or concerns and Tony would always immediately get back to me and answer whatever question I had. They kept there word and honoured the VIP deal we had discussed. Even when they discovered they gave me an incorrect price for adding the hitch, it was $300 more than they initially had priced. They did not have me fork over the extra $300 and covered that cost. I highly recommend you buy your next car from Austin Subaru. I've had the pleasure of purchasing from them and using their service and they always go above and beyond to ensure I'm taken care of. This is why I decided to purchase my next car from them, the hospitality doesn't stop after the sale. Not a lot of dealerships can claim that. We then came in, and after a little back and forth on the price, we… met in the middle and were able to get out at the price we wanted. Second, they view the relationship as one that values your return as much as the first day you walk… in - the service lounge is comfy and relaxing with a great coffee and snack bar. Third, the service pricing is excellent and service is prompt. There just aren't enough great things to say. Roger was our rep and he's awesome. A former mechanic himself, he truly knows these things inside and out.Fantastic experience
by Cathy on 08/21/2019My 16 year old son worked all summer to save up for his first car. I pitched in a little bit and we were looking for cars for over a week. We saw great deals online but only to find that these "too good to be true" cars often had a… salvage title, with the dealer slow to reveal this information. We even drove to San Antonio to look at cars but had no luck. We saw some cars online at Austin Subaru and were going to have a look at them but before we left the house a dealer there called us to tell us the cars were sold. He went on to ask us what we were looking for and I gave him a short list of "must haves." Clear title, 4 cylinder, price, etc. Over the next few days he texted cars to me as they were traded in to the dealership. After a few days one car caught our interest and we had a look at it 12 hours from it being traded in. I put a deposit down on it and they kept the car to detail the inside and give it a thorough inspection. Five days after leaving our deposit we went back for one final test drive and were very pleased by the "sharpness" of the car. The outside was buffed, the inside was detailed, they even aligned the car and put two new tires. I've been telling my other parent friends not to bother with driving from lot to lot to look for cars, and I encourage them to call Austin Subaru, let them know what is needed, then sit back and wait until the right fit comes along. The easy shopping and buying experience at Austin Subaru helps offset the anxiety that comes along with having a teenage driver. AND, Subaru is now on the list of possibilities for ME when I need a new car!Best Car-Buying Experience, Hands Down!

She kept me updated on the status of my car and ensured that I was completely happy. There was never any pressure put on me, and… given Subaru of America's stance on fair pricing, the weight was taken off of me with no need to haggle! Go find Jade; you will not be disappointed. My salesman kept me in the loop all the way even though it was the last day of the… month frenzy. He was not hard sale but humored me in my attempts to delete safety options for lower price. I am so glad he persevered - I am really relying on those options in heavy traffic.Plesant Purchase Experience

Deduct one star for their make ready, car was not as clean as it should have been, windshield was very hazy and there were hand prints all over the hood… and side of the car. Not a big deal, but could have been better. Got it with a full tank of fuel, that's a plus in my book.Ken, we want to say thank you for shopping with us!
