    I arrived with a scheduled appointment to address recalls for my 2021 Lariat F150. After entering the service desk area, there were 6 service Reps (without customers), staring at their computer monitors. After nearly 3 minutes, 'Rep Amber' finally greeted me. She informed me that I needed to leave my vehicle for the day and I was offered a Lyft ride home and back to the dealership after the recall work was completed. Once I returned to pickup my vehicle, Rep Amber informed me that they had to 'special order' the windshield wiper motor parts and that once the parts arrived I'd have to leave my Lariat all day again for the work to be completed. However, the seatbelt recall work was completed as promised. For the record, My service experiences with Planet Ford (Park-Cities), and Mac Haik Ford are supreme compared to my experiences with AutoNation Ford Arlington thus far. To sum things up, there IS ample room for improvement for AutoNation Ford's Service Department. Respectfully, I hope this review helps.

    Ignition switch sticks when put in start position. This was repaired at a substantial cost. But ignition switch still sticks when starting engine. Also the brakes make a moaning sound when backing. That was also costly and repair was completed. But moaning sound when backing is still noted.

  • Terrible Service

    This dealership is terrible they had our Ford Focus in there several times of course under warranty. Under the warranty they could never find out what the problem was with the car. We even took the technician out in the car so they could feel and hear the issues the car was having. Just when the warranty expires they magically find all sorts of problems and issues but the warranty was out at this point. The service tech never returned calls and basically refused to work on our vehicle because he knew we would have to come out of pocket within a few weeks. Don't take your car to them!!

    honest experience with Arlington Autonation..had oil change service done and I thought brake service was due...Tech recommended that the brakes can be done at next oil change....they can safely operated till then..

    Called and spoke with Jaime H. Described my transmission problem and was told just to bring it on in and he would have a service technician take a look at it. Called on Monday and stated the problems and was quickly repaired by Wednesday.

    When I got to the dealership the car I came for had already sold. I was disappointed in that but they met me at my car and had another option in the same price range. Over all the experience was good but I have two complaints. One I chose to finance through them as they rate shop but they didn’t tell me up lender they use forces extended coverage at a huge extra add on that can apparently be canceled later. Big hassle. Second the truck wasn’t vetted. The modem and radio didn’t work and the rear differential had some problems causing scraping noise when backing up. This put me back at the dealer twice over the course of two weeks. The service dept is taking care of me now but really frustrated by this.

    I have found a service department that actually cares about my outcome. I was shown respect and patience as they sought to identify and fix the issues n my Mustang.     Only had 2 service issues that needed to be addressed; oil change and missing oil pan skid plate. I was told that the skid plate was not covered under warranty, but they would provide me the price to purchase a new one. No one provided me the price for this part and it took a long time to complete the oil change. Checkout was also long as the service tech was taken other calls and talking to other service techs and also seemed to have difficulties using my Ford Pass points to pay for the oil change.

    Dave Morrison once again set up the excellent service by the outstanding AutoNation Ford Arlington Service Technicians. My truck was not only provided the typical over-the-top service, they washed it and dressed the tires and wheels,as well. Not only did it run better then when I brought it in, but it looked better (and I keep my truck normally looking good). At almost 120,000 miles, they keep it running like new...even though for a Ford truck it's just broken in.
