    We cannot begin to express the gratitude we have for the exceptional customer service we received from Gene Messer Ford dealership! While driving from Houston to New Mexico our F350 broke down about 70 miles from the dealership. We called and spoke with JC Aherns the Fleet Maintenance Manager. He assured us he had the part waiting for us when we got there, met us at the service entrance and took the truck in immediately. This dealerships customer service is just impeccable, and saved our vacation.

  • Anti Theft Device Locked up the truck.

    My truck would not start because the anti theft device would not allow it to start. I didn’t have my original remote and was using one from auto zone which would not reset the anti theft. It was a simple fix for the technician. Apparently once he got it sure enough less than an hour. However my biggest problem it took 15 days from the time I dropped it off until I got it back. Why do I have to schedule an appointment to visit with the service counter to hand you my keys when you’re not even ready for the truck. If you are this behind it’s time you higher some help. This is the second time I have waited for weeks to have my truck looked at.

    Gary arranged great service on my 2019 Edge. Full Motorcraft Synthetic oil change and tire rotation. I was given all available discounts. Service completed in an hour on a busy Saturday.

  • Awesome experience

    I was totally impressed with how I was treated . My wife and I are full time rv’ers and we experienced a def issue with our 2019 F350 DRW, which necessitated being towed in. It was less than an hour from the time I called in to their Service Dept to the time the flat bed showed up. With the vehicle at the dealership I was explained what was going to happen, advised how long it would take and given a ride back to our RV park. I was kept up to date on service status throughout the day. And even though it carried into a second day, I was pleased with their work and the people that I dealt with, especially JC at the Service desk.

    This would be my second car I’ve bought a car from Gene Messer Ford in Amarillo and they are AMAZING! Both times I went through their salesman Kyle and he is absolutely incredible . He truly went above and beyond to make sure I got everything I wanted in my new car. He was super helpful to answer any questions I had and I definitely recommend going to him if your looking to get a new car. Overall everyone was very attentive to what I needed and the manager was super friendly when it came to signing all the paperwork. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

  • AAA Approved facility

    Brought 2 cars in for AAA summer special. First car I brought in was my daughter’s Ford, which was purchased at Gene Messer. Gary (Svc tech) showed me places on tires that were bad, stated new tires were needed before winter. Said air filter was dirty, and I gave approval to be replaced (even though I didn’t see it). When all was done, the car was parked in the shop area, easy to get to. Very satisfied with his cust svc, knowledge, attitude… everything. 2nd car - my jeep renegade, not purchased there but still had them do the AAA summer checkup. Didn’t realize I could’ve asked for Gary again. Got Ryan. Didn’t show me the wear on tires but stated new ones were needed asap. “We have buy 3 get 1 free special”. Several other minor things wrong but stated “when you get tires we’ll fix everything else”. Won’t be expensive.” Didn’t ask if I wanted those things fixed ‘now’. I’d have paid for the other things just like I paid for the air filter on my daughter’s car. When all was done I had to go hunt for my jeep. It was back out in the parking lot, over by the blue awning at the body shop. I kinda felt like the red-headed step child. I probably won’t be back (but I’m sure my daughter will). The positive answers below were based on the 1st experience with my daughter’s car.

    Wonderful attention and communication. They we very busy but you would have thought I was the only customer that mattered! Jimmi Juarez, my service manager, is always so helpful and friendly. I would give him 10 stars.

    Service department is a joke. Absolutely no service and they treat customers terribly. I had an appointment for service, arrived on time, waited for 4 hours and my car was never touched. Was told there was no reason and evidently they didn’t care enough about my business to try and make it right. Took my keys & records and walked away. Stay away from Gene Messer Ford if you are under the illusion that a Service Department is supposed to provide actual service. Their prices are also over the top in comparison to other dealerships.
