Smokey is always happy at Paul Miller Subaru 💙
by Bpalms on 04/24/2025Another great experience at Paul Miller Subaru for me and Smokey Wilder. So my AC compressor failed and Smokey needed a new one. Erin came to the rescue and took care of me. She listened to my concerns which also included my… passenger window sticking from time to time and made sure everything was in order. She was efficient and had my loaner ready with the young lady who got the car for me. Erin was good to her word with a follow up the same day 4 hours later and she explained the next steps which was that the compressor was covered by the warranty and Smokey would be ready by Monday (it was Saturday). By Monday morning I got the call that Smokey was ready and picked her up that evening. Erin is polite and patient which is what I really appreciate from a customer service perspective. The entire process could not be any smoother thanks to Erin's handling of things. Paul Miller Subaru has a great staff. I never have any problems when I go to them, they make things easy for me. Tires Replaced at Significant Savings
by BobH on 03/28/2025Needed to replace a flat tire due to screw in sidewall; shopped at Mavis, a local mechanic and went online for prices. Then called Paul Miller, talked w their parts manager who gave me a much lower tire cost, transferred my call to Service… for an appointment that morning. Vanessa was my service rep; she handled everything very smoothly and with a super pleasant customer focused approach. Based on the remaining 3 original tires tread, her insight plus, a vid of their mechanic inspecting all 4 tires, I decided to buy 2 new front tires, and swap best tread on 2 remaining tires to the rear. All at over 30% less than Mavis installed. SUPER PLEASED w her handling of my problem.Bob, we're delighted to hear that Vanessa and the Paul Miller Subaru team provided you with such a positive experience. Great Subaru Service for my Outback

When you check in, the advisor will give you an estimated time of completion of your service, explain every detail about your car… and service needed. The service is completed within the time estimate, provided to you at the check in. This is exactly what a great car service needs to be: Friendly team, professional mechanics, clear communication to the customer!!! Smokey Wilder is always in good hands
by Quent97 on 09/20/2024They always take good care of my Smokey Wilder. So I needed front breaks and a new wheel bearing. Frank handled things professionally from beginning to end. First he helped at my oil change visit in April 2024 when my car was… inspected and somethings came up like the front breaks and my 60k mile maintenance. At the time I could not afford to get it all done so he helped me decide what could wait and what to do at that time. We pushed the breaks to my next 6mo visit and he gave me a quote. When I returned they honored the quote and did the breaks and in the inspection found that I had a howling wheel bearing. Frank contacted my warranty policy holder and found it covered so they did the job. Smokey is running smoothly. Service was over 3 days so I had a loaner. The entire process could not be any smoother thanks to Frank's handling of things. Paul Miller Subaru has a great staff. I never have any problems when I go to them, they make things easy for me.Thank you for sharing your experience! Very Thorough Service

I like that he was thorough in explaining the recommended services to me and he was patient in answering my additional questions as I was back and forth to the desk 4 times. He explained the charges and and parts… used and gave examples. As well as explained future recommendations based on car milage. This is the type of service that gets my trust. My only complaint is that they raised the price of the basic oil change/ tire rotation etc service by 100 dollars so they are now 2.5 times higher than Firestone where I was taking my car. I will have to rethink where I get my basic service which I get every 6 monthsWe're glad to know that Frank was able to provide you with detailed and patient service at Paul Miller Subaru. Run and never look back

Terrible experience that resulted in me having to pay $140 for an Uber, $34 for bus tickets for my wife and 5 year old son and miss a day of work because I mistakenly thought this sham of a business was actually… run in a competent manner. A shameful case of gross negligence, ineptness and failed communication that impacted the lives and wellbeing of my wife, my 5 year old son and yours truly. I spoke to someone and made an appointment days before and let them know what service package I would like. Apparently, when you take your car in to be serviced and the man who hands you a ticket responds to you asking three times, "We're good?" in addition to "Do I need to do anything else?" with "No," you are supposed to ignore what he says and go inside anyway to talk to someone inside the dealership. Brought my car in on Saturday, they were closed on Sunday and when I went there on Monday, they never even worked on my car. I will never again step foot in this pit of incompetence and recommend you do the same. Shame on you all.Great maintenance service

Awesome staff and service
by Bpalms on 08/29/2023I purchased my Forester at Paul Miller Honda and when I needed service I made an appointment with them 5 days in advance as required. They made no mention of not servicing a Subaru. When I arrived I was told they did not service Subaru… cars and I had to go to Paul Miller Subaru. No explanation of why I was not told this when I called even though my appointment reminder stated the work was for a Subaru. When I purchased the extended warranty from Honda I was told I had to come to them to avoid paying the deductible but since they would not service the car I was basically stranded. So I had them call Subaru and transfer my appointment. When I got there, there was uncertainty since I was a walk in on their busiest day. But Erin came to my rescue. She got me in, got my car fixed, and charged to my extended warranty. She also was nice enough to waive the fees given what I had been through and told me to just come to Paul Miller Subaru in the future. When Justin worked on my car he provided a video to show exactly what was wrong and how it would be fixed. This is protocol at Paul Miller Subaru and I appreciate it because it establishes trust and confidence that your car is being fixed and you know exactly where the problem is. And you always have the video should you need to refer to it in the future. The also looked at other areas and have recommendations for the future as I have just reached 60k miles. No pressure to get anything else done then and there but did recommend to do it fairly soon. Erin answered all of my questions patiently as I was a bit of a nervous nelly as this was the first time anything had gone wrong with my car. Paul Miller Subaru waiting area is clean and comfortable and they offer a few complements while you wait such a coffee, tea, water, and chips. I was there 4hrs which was understandable since I was a walk in. They also have loaner cars if yours needs an overnight. I was in at 10:30am and on my way home around 2:30pm. It's been a week now and no issues. This is one dealership that fully deserves and high ratings they receive. Thank you to all the superwomen and supermen at Paul Miller Subaru.We're sorry to learn about the initial confusion, but we're glad that Erin and Justin were able to assist you here at Paul Miller Subaru. Almost repaired my Subaru
by LD on 08/26/2023Took my Subaru Outback to Paul Miller Service in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ to get an oil leak fixed (4th time back there for the same issue) and a parking brake warning light issue resolved. I dropped off the car and took a loaner car home.… Two weeks and a day later I received a text saying I could pick up my car. Upon arrival I found that the parking brake warning light issue was satisfactorily repaired but the oil leak was not resolved. I was told that locating the oil leak was difficult to find and they didn't have enough time to locate it because they were busy and short staffed. So I was to pick up the car and continue driving it. Sadly, my driveway has had no problem finding the cars oil leak. In fact, my driveway finds the oil leak every time I park the car. The engine/transmission consistently makes a new oil spot or continues to add the now old oil soaked area of my driveway where I park. I have to say the Paul Miller service advisor Steve F. was excellent. Steve was attentive and kept me informed as to my cars repair status. Steve also located a loaner for me when I dropped off my car. That is a big deal because although I visited Paul Miller service the prior week they were out of loaner cars at that time so I had to reschedule another visit for service and with loaner car for the next week. When I arrived the following week I was told my scheduled visit could not be located in the computer. So yes I'm grateful that Steve F. the service advisor was able to locate a loaner car for me.Steady Eddie - er, Paul
