Dealership Service Review
I purchased my Forester at Paul Miller Honda and when I needed service I made an appointment with them 5 days in advance as required. They made no mention of not servicing a Subaru. When I arrived I was told they did not service Subaru cars and I had to go to Paul Miller Subaru. No explanation of why I was not told this when I called even though my appointment reminder stated the work was for a Subaru. When I purchased the extended warranty from Honda I was told I had to come to them to avoid paying the deductible but since they would not service the car I was basically stranded. So I had them call Subaru and transfer my appointment. When I got there, there was uncertainty since I was a walk in on their busiest day. But Erin came to my rescue. She got me in, got my car fixed, and charged to my extended warranty. She also was nice enough to waive the fees given what I had been through and told me to just come to Paul Miller Subaru in the future. When Justin worked on my car he provided a video to show exactly what was wrong and how it would be fixed. This is protocol at Paul Miller Subaru and I appreciate it because it establishes trust and confidence that your car is being fixed and you know exactly where the problem is. And you always have the video should you need to refer to it in the future. The also looked at other areas and have recommendations for the future as I have just reached 60k miles. No pressure to get anything else done then and there but did recommend to do it fairly soon. Erin answered all of my questions patiently as I was a bit of a nervous nelly as this was the first time anything had gone wrong with my car. Paul Miller Subaru waiting area is clean and comfortable and they offer a few complements while you wait such a coffee, tea, water, and chips. I was there 4hrs which was understandable since I was a walk in. They also have loaner cars if yours needs an overnight. I was in at 10:30am and on my way home around 2:30pm. It's been a week now and no issues. This is one dealership that fully deserves and high ratings they receive. Thank you to all the superwomen and supermen at Paul Miller Subaru.
