Each time the dealer did not waste my time with gimmicks, they were straightforward and honest with competitive pricing! I purchased a Honda CR-V and my salesperson, Andy L., was… knowledgeable, unpatronizing and accommodating. Mariana who handles internet sales, provided complete no-nonsense out the door pricing and was very responsive to my phone/ email questions. The entire staff, (Andy, Chris, Tian, Joe and Mariana) worked in great teamwork to make this a pleasant experience. The dealership has a relaxed atmosphere (no stuffy suits & ties) and they focus on customer satisfaction (even had a bar-b-q over Labor Day weekend). For me, the experience (which I typically dread) was worth bypassing other dealers and heading to Academy Honda in Old Bridge. After shopping around I found that Academy, a long standing established dealership, provided the best pricing and customer experience which topped many of the newer dealerships! P.S. - they don't offer free oil changes & car washes for life (like another dealer) ....but when I did the real math I was indirectly paying for these perks.Honda Accord 2013 EX-L w/ Nav (Sales Rep - H.P.)

My wife and I had done significant research on the car that we wanted and the out-the-door price we wanted to pay, so… given that the conversation with H.P. (Mr. Harshad P.), who was our sales rep, was very straightforward and smooth. He didn't try to push us in anyway, with the price, additional options and protection packages. We had recently (June 2012) bought a Honda Accord 2012 EX-L V6 also from Open Road Honda in Edison and compared to that experience, this was significantly better from a quality of service, lack of pushiness, and price perspective. Further, I prefer it, when the dealership and sales person is straight forward with their prices and try to get me out of there as soon as possible with the sale and actual finance/check out process - and this dealership did exactly that, which I was grateful for. I would definitely go back to them again for future purchases.Good job

Mari L. send me a quote right away over the email, so I had an idea what price to expect. Originally I narrowed my choice between Honda CR-V and Subary Forester,… but during my visit to the Honda dealership I figured this is it, I do not go to somewhere else. My sales person Erich T. was very nice, knowledgeable and very kind. During the test drive we drove on the highway and the local streets so I could really test how car handles in different situations. It was really rainy day so I was able to fully tested the AWD on the Honda CR-V. Erich showed me and explained all the controls and buttons in the car, so basically I do not have to read the car manual to figure this out. He took my old car for traid-in evaluation and gave me a reasonable value. He wasn't pushy at all, didn't try to sell unnecessary extra stuff like they usually do at NY dealerships. Erich T., Chris M. and Stephen C. took an extra steps to make my car buying experience as nice and pleasant as possible. When we first contacted Mark K., via email, he was very friendly and upfront with us and provided us with all the information we wanted and needed. After we… arrived at the dealership, the friendliness and excellent service continued. There was not hidden, or ballooned, fees and no aggressive up-sale. Bryan H. was our salesperson at the dealership, and he was a pleasure to work with. He answered all our questions and was very personable. We were able to obtain the Civic at the exact price and color that we told Mark and Bryan we wanted. Lily Li was our finance manager and gave us some pretty great Christmas presents, in terms of deals. There is no question we would use DCH Academy Honda again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new vehicle.Robert was a great help!

Since we previously had purchased an Accord as a second car for the family and had such wonderful… service, we decided to come back to DCH. Robert L. took us right away and worked out such a great deal that we signed that day! He went through every feature on the car - I especially love the rear view camera, the Bluetooth for my cell phone, and I can even listen to Pandora on the radio with my Android phone. The car runs beautifully and it is so roomy - even has the third row. He then followed up with me the following day to see if I was happy and if I had any questions. The service that you receive at this dealership is top notch and they really treat their customers well. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new car.Fast & Friendly!

Didn't try to sale me stuff I don't need. Highly recommended. Cons : I was trading-in a used Toyota. The… used-car appraisal department threw ridiculous lowballs at me, trying to earn few more bucks. DCH Academy Honda should gain more control over this department and make sure that their offers do not deviate much from those quotes in Edmunds.EXCELLENT

When I went to the dealer they didn't have the exact model I wanted in stock, as the car is considerably rare in that color and trim model, but Stephen was able… to get one for me. I got a great price on the car I wanted and I could not be any happier. The experience was rather painless and Stephen was incredibly friendly, informative and professional. I researched the car I wanted for about 7 months constantly, and he knew as much as I did, if not more, about the car, which was nice to talk to someone who actually knows the car they are selling, which is more than I can say for a few of the other local dealers. If you want a great sales guy that is very helpful i would definitely recommend HP and DCH honda.Mr. John Nguyen sales director par excellence
