    My daughter when for an oil change and they conned her into needing new breaks like it was an emergency. I will never buy another vehicle from them again. They are charging her over $1000. That's just stealing, we should be able to call the police.

    I was squeezed in for service without an appt. on what was an obviously very busy day. The one year warranty was honored to evaluate the AC system and fix it. It is "COOL!" Thanks for the ride home and back. Both drivers were courteous and quick. I'll be back for future service. Thanks!

  • So-so service management / lack of pricing info

    Prior to my service visit, I called the Marlton Burns Honda dealership to schedule an oil change for my vehicle. The person with whom I spoke said that she would apply a "$29.99 Express Oil Change" coupon to my appointment request, which she did. Instead of being in and out of the dealership in about 30 minutes (the idea behind the 'express service'), I was there well over an hour. I was told when I checked in that there were two people ahead of me. How is that MY problem...especially if I made an advance appointment? The service guy checking me in also mentioned that they would rotate my tires in addition to the oil change. When I get the bill the total is almost double what I expect. Closer to $60. The cashier says that my vehicle had a maintenance code come up and that was the reason for the tire rotation. The person checking me in did not mention that there would be an additional $28 charge for rotating 4 tires. He showed me a service sheet (which I signed prior to the work) that showed $29.99 - for the oil change - and did NOT mention the $28 charge for the tire rotation. $28 to rotate four tires seems excessive, also. I was further annoyed that no one from service ran through the service check list with me when my car was done...they just handed me off to a cashier.

    My first experience with Burns Honda is when I was shopping for a 06 or 07 Honda Fit. The salesman took my information and asked for a deposit to do a vehicle search. During the whole process, I had to constantly called him to find out if he has found a car when I think it should have been the other way around. When I asked for a refund on the deposit, he lied and said he already got it processed. Anytime I called him and leave messages, he would not returned any of my calls. I ended up going to the dealership in person and got a refund in about 5 minutes. 2nd experience was again shopping for an 09 Honda Fit. This time I called other places first and was able to get a quote from [another dealership] for the invoice price. I told the salesman that I was quoted the invoice for the Fit but they would not do that price. They quoted me at least $300 over the invoice. I think unless you expect to pay close to the MSRP, they would not even considered selling you a car.

    it was seamless, i called in am and got an appointment for 11am for oil & filter change & tire rotation. Was done at 1230!

    Honda Insight 2010 First service "A1 - schedule" @ 6284 miles = $83.85 Second service "B1 - schedule" @ 9654 miles = $136.81 $136.81 is more than I've ever paid for any car within the first 30,000 miles!!! This was the final price after they deducted a 10% coupon. After reviewing the work sheet, all they really did was change the oil & filter, rotate the tires and replace the rear wiper insert (which was $7). Everything else was "inspections". I'm not exactly sure what extra they did from the first service that was worth $52.96 more since the technicians report shows all the same items. Said it would be ready in about an hour. Took almost two hours. I will not be using this dealer for service again.

  • Burns Honda Experience

    I was in New Jersey the weekend of 21-23 March to visit relatives and attend my sons' sporting events. On Saturday morning, after arriving at one of the events, my 2002 Honda Odyssey made a horrible noise that was followed by an intense burning smell. Rather than wait for AAA, I decided to drive it to the nearest Honda dealer. That turned out to be Burns Honda. I was greeted promptly and professionally by Express Team Supervisor Matt D. I explained that I was visiting from Virginia and really needed the van to be looked at as soon as possible. Not only did Matt help me unload the van of all its contents and secure them in a safe place, he assured me that Burns Honda would do everything it could to have the van repaired that day. When my relatives came to the dealership to pick me up, two employees helped transfer all of my belongings to their car. When I received the call around lunchtime informing me that the AC compressor needed to be replaced, I was asked if I needed any help with transportation that day. I did not, but I certainly appreciated the offer. I cannot thank you enough for the outstanding customer service you displayed. This is why we are a Honda family. Please be sure to let Matt know how much I appreciated his help that day. He went above and beyond his responsibilities to ensure that I was well taken care of. Thank you.

    Not to mix apples with oranges but service was fine (1.5 hrs long!) but fine. I sent emails to both Mel and Paul with NO response. I bought a car that I could not afford and though buyers should beware, I thought that one on them could have responded, but they didn't! I know that I am just ONE in a multitude of many customers but if I tell every doctor, nurse,therapist and fellow student that I run across at Pennsylvania Hospital and Rowan University, my ONE multiplies!

    Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Waiting room was comfortable, service was fast, easy to schedule on website, service done was explained in detail at the end.

    My service adviser Steve N. is the reason why I get all my work done in the Burns Honda Service center. He provides by far the best customer service and support that I have ever received from any Dealer or mechanic shop. He goes the extra mile and is very honest with me about what needs to be done. Top notch for sure.

    Niccole, Russell and Matt took care of me. I needed to find out about my cell phone connection... found out by Russell and Niccole's research that the cell phone I have (old one) is NOT compatible. Russell printed out all the ones that are!!! Matt took care of my maintenance in very good time. All in all, a very very good experience. thank you... also, feels like a team effort when you are there... nice comraderie! (sp) Gail
