Professional from start to finish

He was fair with pricing - we had done our homework and he did not play games. We bought the 2014 Forester Touring with Eyesight. Did a great job helping me find the model of Subaru Crosstrek that I wanted, in the rare color that I wanted, even though options were scarce at the end of the model year. He… helped me figure out which options I wanted on the car, weeding out choices that I really wouldn't get much use out of. Excellent Experience All Around

He quoted a bottom-line price for the 2014 Outback I was… interested in with no pressure at all. Also, the business manager with whom we worked the next day to complete the sale, as expected reviewed all the add-on options but did not use any high pressure tactics to get us to purchase the extras. We did decide to buy an add-on Subaru service warranty. The entire process was smooth and enjoyable. This was the 3rd vehicle we've purchased from Herb Gordon. I can hosestly say that there was no part of the process that wasn't fully explained to my satisfaction. Great place for service!!

With in the first few months of ownership I had a simple mechanical issues with my STI. I asked the other dealership to assist me with the problem and I was… literally left out to dry! I told a friend of mine about the issue I had and he said I should see Michael at Herb Gordon Subaru in Silverspring. I told him that I was closer to another Subaru dealer in Annapolis but he insisted that I go to Michael! After one visit I was sold, and not because of the one problem I had was fixed. The professional interaction, accurate knowledge that he had of my car, and the calm/easy going nature he had with the situation had me sold on where I will take my Subaru now and forever! After three years of solid service and repairs I sold my wife's 2009 Honda Odyessy and purchased a 2011 Subaru Outback Limited. The service team of Michael senior/junior, Ken, & Vitaliy was enough to convince me I didn't want to have any other vehicle other than a Subaru! If you want a trustworthy place for your service take your Subie to them and you will not be disappointed!!!Overall Great Experience!:)

I never felt pressured to buy right away, I was treated with lots of respect (Sometimes that can be hard to come by in general as a woman looking for a car), and I… felt I got a fair deal on the Forester as well as the trade in. I recommend Herb Gordon Subaru for anyone looking to buy a Subaru. For me, it's not just about getting a good deal, it's also getting the treatment you deserve as the customer. No one tried to give me the run around so to speak. The salesman I doubt with was Rich C. Rich was very informative, honest, attentive, patient, and fair in the pricing dept. I always hate the process of buying a car, however, Herb Gordon Subaru made the process painless! And the 2014 Forester is beautiful and I love driving it! Huge improvement from the 2013 Forester!Easy pleasant no hassle experience

We were able to do what we needed over email and the phone and then showed up to pick up the car and do the paperwork. John R was able to make sure we got the car… we wanted with the few simple extras we desired and didn't hound us about anything else. I wish my previous car buying experiences had been this easy. I especially appreciated John walking us through all the features of the car after we were done with the paperwork - he even set up my bluetooth to work with my phone! We were directed to Herb Gordon through Costco and AAA, and definitely understand why those reputable companies choose to do business with the Herb Gordon dealership. It was really great experience- I would say that Herb Gordon is the best dealership I've dealt with so far! Salesperson Lakshman S. was extremely helpful and really nice. I would… recommend asking for him if you decide to buy a car from this dealership. Also this place itself is really nice - clean, spacious, conveniently located ( especially if you take ICC - what a pleasant ride from Gaithersburg!). The price was also great! And they make permanent license plates themselves right away! Nice bonus! Also every fifth oil change as well as loner car is free. Hassle Free Friendly and Efficient

We were provided a VIN and approximate date of delivery. We wanted two port option added which was… easily done at a reasonable price. The vehicle arrived sooner and configured exactly as we wanted. I definitely have to say the experience was professional and enjoyable. I initially came in several weeks ago to test drive a model and I… was approached by Gary, who asked me what I was looking for. I told him everything I wanted and he found a model for me right off the spot. He even let me test drive it on the highway to test the passing speeds and pick-up. I was given a quote when I left and there was no pressure. Gary didn't hound me like other dealers. I put in an online quote request several days later and was given an even cheaper price by Gary than was in person. I had gone to other dealers and compared prices for the same model and they all agreed, Herb Gordon Subaru offered the best price. A price they couldn't beat! Some matched the price and Gary even offered to take a few more off. In summation, the professionalism and willingness to work with me was what won me over. The dealership is also sparkly clean and the location is great. Gary's also a real funny guy and has a lot of jokes. I definitely recommend this location!New car

2014 XV Crosstrek Premium

I found Herb Gordon Subaru and my salesman, Gary G., to be friendly, responsive, professional, knowledgable, polite and not pushy. They were forthright in getting to… the lowest price before I came in and did not engage in the typical tactics of other car dealerships I had contacted via the internet. However, dealing through the internet did not revlieve me of having to sit with the finance Mgr., despite having financing in place and my request to not go through that "song-and-dance." Thus my trip to the dealership took longer than I would have liked. Gary G. was great and I felt at ease throughout the process which went very smoothly. I would recommend Gary & this dealership as they are more interested in moving cars, finalizing the sale, and giving the customer a good experience than brow beating & haggeling for endless hours on end. By the way, I love, love, love the car and how it handles (This after being a dedicated Mazda customer for 30+ years).Good afternoon debrown1. Herb Gordon definitely delivered. Jason, our Sales Consultant, was superb. He was respectful of our time, knew the cars… inside and out, and was good with the kids. The dealership bent over backwards to make sure we where happy and satisfied customers. Their level of service is not normally found while car shopping. Their facilities were clean and kid friendly, with a great little playroom. We were greeted and felt welcomed from the moment we entered the dealership. Lakshman was informative and helpful in… every respect, but he also respected the boundaries we set and did not attempt to oversell the product, realizing that it spoke for itself.
