BMW Silver Spring: Last bastion of civil, hassle-free negotiations!
by New_BMW_M240ix on 09/01/2018Silver Spring BMW was by no means the nearest dealership near me but my experience with Senior Client Advisor Andy Alexis – who consistently went above and beyond, providing outstanding customer service -- made it more than worth my while… to drive there! Andy is far and away the most exceptional representative of BMW bar none! As soon as I meet him after scheduling an appointment online to test drive a 430ix convertible, I felt like he was a trusted, old friend. He wasn’t pushy, he spent considerable time helping me explore all of my options, and he has a fantastic sense of humor to boot! In the end, he helped me come to the conclusion that I would be better served (and happier) with a zippy M240ix convertible. When there wasn’t one readily available with the options I sought, he helped track one down in Massachusetts and get it to me in a matter of days. Unlike other BMW dealerships I have visited in the DC Metro area, BMW of Silver Spring doesn’t deal in manipulative ploys or high-pressure sales gimmicks. Quite the contrary. Andy Alexis proved that BMW of Silver Spring may be the last bastion of hassle-free, civil, relaxed negotiations where you’ll gain complete peace of mind in knowing that you got the best car for the best deal. And what’s more priceless than that? Andy Alexis. I can’t recommend him more highly. We made the initial contact with the dealership about finding a loaner X1 and Karen was prompt and helpful in finding one that fit… my needs. She followed up in a timely manner and provided all the information needed so I could make an informed decision on the car. Not only is she very friendly and knowledgeable, she is a wonderful listener who has the ability to ask relevant and precise questions in order to quickly understand the needs/goals/personality of the car buyer.… Providing outstanding customer service is obviously her focus, and she goes above and beyond what is expected - in my case, promptly returning my numerous telephone calls to her on both the day of the car sale, and throughout the day on the day before; e-mailing relevant information that allowed me to select a car prior to my arrival at the dealership; and patiently providing detailed answers to my questions, ensuring she addressed all of my concerns prior to my car purchase. I was first pleasantly exposed to BMW of Silver Spring a few years ago while stationed at a military post in northern Virginia. At that time, I purchased my first BMW. Now, as a military retiree who continues to work and reside in Virginia, I would not think of buying a car from anywhere else. They offered to order the exact BMW i3 I wanted! which was amazing! Allen was… also great at financing the vehicle. It was worth the 2 month wait! Fantastic Dealership
by 9thBeamer on 06/26/2018I just completed leasing both a new 5 series and my wife's new 3 series at BMW of Silver Spring. This is my ninth BMW and third lease at BMW of Silver Spring. I had dealt with other dealerships in the past, but found this one to be by far… the best the first time I leased, so I keep coming back and will continue to do so. Over the years, the consultants have been easy to work with, strike the perfect balance between personal and professional, and do not pressure in any way. This time, I worked with Desirea who was a pleasure to work with. Aside from the qualities mentioned above, she is delightful in her enthusiasm for beamers, is relaxed and knows the product, and is very responsive to communications. I negotiated much of this last deal over the phone as I was away on vacation, so there were many back and forths!! She found the exact vehicle I was looking for (540i x-drive, Carbon Black, Night Blue interior, and fineline cove matte wood trim.] She easily got into my rhythm and the entire transaction seemed effortless. In fact, the experience was so positive, that we worked with Silver Spring and Desirea again on my wife's lease which we also just completed. We built this one and Desirea easily guided the build process through the maze of options, packages, etc. We are totally satisfied with both deals. Silver Spring BMW and Desirea are both fantastic.
