Treats You Right!
by MuncieMom on 03/19/2015A couple of years ago, I went to every dealer in Muncie looking for a new car. One dealer told me I needed to come back with my husband (I can't believe they are still in business!), a couple of dealers completely ignored me, but Toyota of… Muncie did it all right. They greet me, asked me if I wanted to browse alone or if I wanted help, they offered to look for what I wanted at other dealerships, and they treated my children with respect (they had lots of questions). I bought a used car from them and felt confident with the decision. They contacted me once a year with a personal note just checking in with me. I always recommend them! In addition, they are a huge community supporter, just another plus in my book.Toyota of Muncie reminds me of the movie, American Beauty
by conehead1915 on 09/12/2010We went in Toyota Muncie after doing some research on internet so we had a price in mind. We were looking to buy a Toyota Camry Hybrid. Starting price was $29,000 theirs was $33,300 plus they wanted to add to their MSRP an extra $5,000.… Seems they think people are willing to give them the extra money? We drove 45 minutes down I-69 to another dealer and guess what, no MSRP + $5,000. Toyota of Muncie is great at bait and switch very nice facility but that would figure if you are getting free money off of peoples backs! They lie to get you buy the cars they want you to buy. Deceptive business practices.someone help me

by martell3 on 07/29/2010Don't let the appearance of the dealership fool ya. In the end, the management and salespeople are poor at best. They don't honor national sales events or promotions, even though the websites and local newspaper have their name all over… them. These forks from top to bottom just try to con the max money out of your pocket. Muncie is a small town, ..., one would think long term customer satisfaction would be job one!? NOT AT THIS PLACE!!!they rip you off on your trade in
by cabby461 on 07/27/2010I was not giving a fair price on my trade. My car has afair value of $11,000 and I was offered under $5,000. They increased offer to $7,000, but still falls short. I do not recommend going to Toyota of Muncie for vehicle purchase. They use… black book and will rip you off on your trade in.this dealership sucks
by comptalk on 07/25/2010We recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. I must caution others before ever considering to purchase a vehicle here. The initial negotiation went okay, but the signing of the paperwork took approximately 3 hours, which had they… been busy would have been understandable but they had no other customers from the time we arrived until when we signed the paperwork. The finance guy was very pushy and tried to sell us all kinds warranty and service packages with ridiculous prices. We declined all his stupid offers, and then he got mad at us and yelled at us. It is a shame that a dealership like this is allowed to stay in business.worst experience
by danfranks on 07/18/2010This is the worst experience I have ever had. We called a few days before and got a OTD price. We walked in there and we felt something was not right because they weren't honest. Don't trust them from the beginning. The general manager… came to us saying that we still have to pay 399 documentation fee and sales taxes on our vehicle. We thought OTD prices include everything, fee, taxes. Apparently, their definition of OTD price is quite different! [violative content deleted] We were so upset we wasted the whole day there and they are absolutely the worst people you can ever deal with!Stay away
by luvjava on 07/16/2010My experience with this dealership was a bit of a nightmare. After taking a day off (that was after taking to them 3 days before and being told everything was fine), I found NOTHING was going anywhere. First, I was told over that phone… conversation that I was approved with no money down. When I got there, they told me that they not only needed a co-signer but also a very large downpayment. Not to mention the interest rate was 7.99%. I was even told that someone from this dealer had just called the day before to let me know that things had changed but there were no any messages or records on my cell phone at all. (another big fat lie right to my face!). I do not recommend anyone bother to even stop at this dealer. Not only will you not get the payments, cars or price that you talked about but they will have no problems telling you lies just to get you there. They will even lie about the cars they have to get you in the door. The whole purchasing experience was so emotional draining. I can't tell you how many salespersons or managers came out and talked to me. They are all dishonest. Potential car shoppers beware!!!not worth it
by we_and_cars on 07/10/2010We went to Toyota Scion of Muncie. They said they did not have the exact model we wanted but they said they could locate one for us from another dealer in indianapolis. Hhere is the catch we have to pay 500 bucks for their 'relocating' fee.… We simply left and drove to [another dealership], found the vehicle we wanted rightaway and paid almost 2000 less than the price offered by Toyota Scion of Muncie.my experience
by emergdoc on 07/08/2010I went to this dealership, got passed from sales person to sales person. I was in the dealership for hours! Finally they said they could not get the loan but could get a loan on a car that cost $20,000 more than the one i was looking at. I… said no deal and walked out, awful experience.they'll rip you off in everyway possible
by gogojojo1 on 07/03/2010They do not explain anything to you and try to confuse you while changing deals every 10 minutes from financing to leasing , from leasing to financing, from 24 months to 36 months, from 36 to 24 months, to 36 to 48 months and they refuse… to tell you the monthly payment breakdown. I laughed when I saw those [violative content deleted] call themselves "a dealership of integrity" on their website. What a joke!toyota muncie
by dandolo69 on 06/14/2010I request all the readers to read this before going to Toyota of Muncie. their customer service s**ks. Once you make a deal the finance guy (Kevin) adds all kind of extra charges (like Destination charge, Preparation charge, etc saying that… these are mandatory) to rip you off. Make sure you don't fall for their scams. Say NO to all those charges. By the way, they never answer your calls after the deal.Great Experience!
by desotopop on 05/25/2011updated 06/01/2025We dealt with Geoff Cook and Scott McFeeley.. Both were very flexible, professional, and accommodating. This was probably the least amount of time that we've ever spent in a dealership purchasing a car. We will definitely be repeat… customers!THANK YOU!!
by klwortinger on 03/16/2012updated 06/01/2025I love my new Prius and Mr. Miller was a great help in making my experience as least stressful as possible. Thank you Toyota of Muncie!!A good, low-pressure experience
by tlyon on 03/24/2012updated 06/01/2025Anticipating some pressure tactics we have seen and read about at dealerships, we had a surprisingly pleasurable experience at this dealership. David Miller, our salesman, was friendly and helpful, without using the high-pressure tactics… that we have heard of in the car buying business. Help was offered by several other people, always in a very friendly way. This was about as pleasant a car buying experience as we have ever had. We recommend them.
