Not satisfied
by MISS....E on 04/30/2024I brought my car in for 60k service and because the engine light came on. I ended up getting a $80 oil change with NO tire rotation because that's extra now. Also since the engine light wasn't on the tech said it was nothing he could do.… Well I left mad because I felt like I was blown off. An hour later the light came on, I called back to let them know this and they told me to bring the car back. A different tech assisted me and told me "my engine was bad, I wouldn't ever pass emission test, he's seen people drive with the light on for years and the cost would $10000 to fix but they don't make my engine anymore. My car has only 56 thousand miles on it and is only 8 years old. If my engine is bad then Chevrolet sold me a bad car to begin with. No engine should be going out at 56k miles.🤬🤬🤬We are trying to find your contact information so a Manager can call and discuss your concerns. Great Professional Service All Around!

Scott fully explained all of the vehicle options I was looking for. He was very… patient w/me as I took a while looking at various vehicles. There were no hassles as I had a trade in vehicle. I was pleased with the entire vehicle purchasing process. I had an unfortunate auto accident 3 1/2 months after purchasing the 2023 Blazer & returned to purchase another one soon after. Once again on my 1st visit, both Scott Quinn & Sam handled everything with ease, no stress & I came out w/a 2024 Blazer. Sam is on it ensuring you get the best deal. by Paul41956 on 04/04/2023I brought my Tahoe in for 3 main concerns. 1. Recall for air bag 2. Oil Change 3. Headlights would not come on. When I checked in and the tech turned on my lights I noticed my headlights came on which was surprising since… they had not been on in 2 weeks. After I left I checked my lights again and they were not coming on. I saw on my receipt that a part was changed for the air bag. I also saw the air bag warning light was still on. I returned inside back to the service department and was told the warning light was not checked and had nothing to do with the recall, which makes no sense. I was also told they would be happy to check it if I wanted to bring it back in. In conclusion im still showing air bag warning light and still have no headlights. Therefore I can't see how I can claim this was a pleasant experience.Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your recent service visit. The air bag recall that was performed on your vehicle only replaces the passenger side air bag located inside the dashboard above the glove box. You have several other air bags and sensors in your vehicle that can also cause the air bag light to be illuminated on the dash. Vince, our Service Manager checked over the diagnostic trouble codes report from your check-in and saw that you had several air bag codes stored for the passenger presence module which is in the passenger seat bottom. Vince emailed you and attached the photos of that report. We do not see any mention of the headlamps being inoperative or you authorizing/paying the diagnostic fee of $249.95 for us to inspect your headlight system. If you would like to move forward with getting the electrical issues diagnosed on your vehicle please contact Vince at 708-474-0000 ext 417 and he will do anything he can to help.

Rain guards

Trying to contact service to inform them of the matter has been a challenge. by Rob on 05/18/2019Our story started on a Saturday morning when my wife and I saw a vehicle that fit our needs on Phillip's website. Just a bit of background, I have been perusing Phillip's website for years after a great internet sales representative,… Christine Delvecchio put me on their mailing list (it says a lot that they keep good people, and even promote them!). I started a chat on the Phillip's website with Crystal Chavez and asked a few basic questions which she answered immediately. After establishing an internet price with Crystal and Kevin Dorsey we made the two hour drive from our city to Phillip's of Lansing and arrived about 4:30. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Shawn Breish who took us on a test drive and answered all of our questions. After agreeing to financing terms, we met Henry King who explained our various optional extras. We ordered a cargo cover from him (unfortunately it wasn't in stock but he had it by Monday, shipped it to us that day, and it arrived at our house on Tuesday). Our final visit was with Tom Kernagis, who used Phillip's super sophisticated cool built-in-desk-top computer to walk us through our extended warranty options and gave us all our documentation on a hard to miss key-shaped thumb drive (thank you, I will always know what is on that thumb-drive just by looking at it). By this time, our new vehicle was detailed and new plates installed, our trade-in appraised and its old plates removed. We were on the road by about 7:30. From the moment I chatted with Crystal, to the last handshake with Shawn (who by the way had already stayed after work about an hour and a half to make sure we were satisfied), the whole process was smooth, quick, and painless. We were thrilled with our car buying experience, and would recommend Phillip's and our entire team of employees without reservation.Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Phillips Chevrolet.
