Another Bait and Switch Victim
by Wisconsin Buyer on 01/09/2025We drove 100 miles from Wisconsin to see a used KIA EV6. After we drove the vehicle, the manager told us that it was not available for sale because of a recall issue. (Why they had not addressed the recall issue, as a Kia dealership, is a… good question.) He then tried to make us what he described as a "crazy good deal" on a new Kia EV6. We declined. Once the service was completed, we called, texted and emailed to try to get the purchase process moving but we were just told that they had sold the car to someone else. We've never had a dealership experience like this in 40 years of buying cars. My recommendation is to take your business elsewhere.There is no way to restore my confidence in your dealership. I just hope that others do not have to through the same or similar experiences. Be better.
An auto-reply to customer complaints is exactly what I would expect from this dealership. Buyer beware!
Bait and switch, they don’t honor their online offers
by Bryan on 12/18/2023Went to see about a used Telluride, listed online price was 34,997. Had a trade-in, trade-in’s value was between $14,000-$16,000. Their own online valuation offered $15,640 for the trade-in. When I got to the dealer they told me the… Telluride was $38997 due to $4k certification (it wasn’t a CPO). by Mademase on 03/10/2023***READ IN FULL BEFORE BUYING A USED CAR AT NAPLETON’S*** As a disclaimer, Marta Nilles- Customer Relations Manager is a WONDERFUL person and my only regret about this review and that she truly tried to move mountains to make things right… for us. At the end of the day, her hands were just tried. Do not buy a used car here without first having it checked out by your own mechanic. The sales person will tell you that Napleton’s does a full 120 point inspection on all used cars before selling them. That is a LIE!!! I bought a used Audi Q5 and believed that nonsense. I immediately noticed an oil leak after buying it. After going back and forth for almost two months with the dealership I am now stuck with a $2300 bill to fix a car that I just bought from the “prestigious” dealership. Do not trust these people based on the name. They screwed me and will do the same to you. What’s weird is they spent two months trying to find a resolution for me… they brought it to service to identify the problem and even tried to work numbers to get me in a new car. They admitted that they shouldn’t have sold me the car in this condition, but at the end of the day I guess their bottom line is all that matters. They can’t make money on the lemon they sold me so I’m just stuck with it. I will be doing everything in my power to share this absolute garbage experience with as many people as possible.Hi, we are so disappointed to learn of this situation you have described. Bad management
by Andres on 01/07/2022I was interested in a vehicle that I found on Edmunds.com. I provided my contact information to set up an appointment. The next morning I received emails, texts, and phone calls. I set up an appointment to see the car because it was "by… appointment only". Thithin two hours I was at the dealership. I then waited 1/2 hour to have the car brought over. Finally I was told that the vehicle had been sold that morning. I complained to the sales manager and he told me the vehicle had been sold that morning. Furious I got in my brother's car, who was gracious enough to drive me there on short notice, and we headed home. On the way a costumer service representative called and apologized and disclosed that the vehicle had been sold the previous evening. Lost a day's wages because of this. Dealership 1-costumer 0.Andreas, thank you for writing this review. We are not happy to hear about your visit with our sales department. Customer satisfaction and a positive experience is our main goal, and we have failed you. We greatly apologize for that and would like to ask you for a second chance. by ram on 05/13/2020Interested to buy a SUV that was posted online for 14,997. Called the dealership and was told vehicle was available and price can only be negotiated in the dealership. Set an appointment for last evening and went there around 7:30 PM after… a two hour drive. Took the test drive and with some imperfections interested to buy the SUV and here it starts.... Sales person(name was ANGEL) took our interest and quote to the SALES MANAGER and came with a notepad which has 209XX as OUT THE DOOR PRICE which includes 14997 - listed price 1395 - DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE 695 - car inspection 899 - DOC FEE 29XX - TAXES Me and my friend were shocked to see how a 14997 listed price vehicle become 209XX Out the door and how it can be called a negotiation. Should I say I am disappointed or pissed off!! with this shady practice. If this is read by management, please understand that people are still coming to dealership to buy a vehicle(even in this pandemic situation) due to there actual need and this is not a joke to post one price on the website and bump up 6k to initiate a negotitation.Ram, we appreciate you taking the time to leave this review. I had a call with you assistant manager named John or Jon 2 days ago who mentioned that he wasn't there when this was going on and the sales guy name was Jose. He also mentioned that some of the add ons were optional which was completely ignored by the sales person. He said he will check with sales person again and call me back(which didn't happened as I called multiple time to his cell phone and office number). Got a text late night as asked about my interest which I replied yes and after few texts, I gave my final offer about purchasing 16300 OTD but didn't got a response back. Now, As of 5/15/20, I see the vehicle price has been increases and now it is at 16997? What should I say.....

Most dealers will try to upsell you on a vehicle when you've been more than clear that you don't want anything else. That's not the… case here. We left the location with the vehicle we came to see.
