  • LOVE my new car,,and LOVE my new dealership

    I have to say,,had a wonderful experience with buying our new car.We had done the research,my husband and I were set on buying a NEW Nissan Altima.After doing the research,we were led about 50 miles from our home,to M'lady Nissan in Chrystal Lake,Illinois.My husband works 3rd shift,,so,,we weren't wanting to spend a whole lot of time,listening to all the hoopla that you usually have to go thru when purchasing a car.Was met at the door by Scott M'lady,didn't know he was a relative.But right up front,I told him we didn't want to waste our time,wanted him to run the numbers to see if we were eligible for the 0% financing,,which we were.Also,,knowing we wanted a Altima,,had done the research and heard they had plenty.I had my pick of EVERY color,and EVERY option available.That was a plus,,also was quite pleased we didn't have to haggle back and forth over the price,as it took but a few moments.Like I said,,we had already done the research and knew what we wanted to spend,,PLUS,,we wanted every option that they offered,,I kid you not,,we were in and out of there in a couple of ours.And between Scott and the financial guy,,we were treated like we were someone special.I was pretty amazed at how well our experience was,,and was quite pleased that we chose M'lady Nissan to purchase our car from.We have always bought economy cars,as we have children and are constantly in and out,,carrying the kids to their school functions.But,,our kids are grown now,,and wanted a NICE ride for my husband and I,,but didn't want to spend a fortune.From the moment we test drove the Nissan Altima,,we were loving this car.And throw in all the options available??OMG,,,this is the nicest vehicle we have EVER had,,what a BEAUTIFUL car.If you are looking for a Nissan Altima,,PLEASE,,go here to get it,,you will have your pick of sooo many to your liking,,TRUST ME on that.Plus,,we were treated sooo kindly,that we have decided to take them up on their offer for free oil changes,gives us a reason to get out and take a ride with my wonderful husband.Hope this review helps someone in need of a new car,,you can't go wrong with M'lady Nissan,,ask for Scott M'lady,,I can't say anything about any of the other dealers on the floor,,but we were lucky with Scott!!Good Luck,,[non-permissible content removed]

    After 12 years and over 200K miles driving a Nissan Altima, it was time for an upgrade. I traveled about an hour and a half to M’Lady following a 30-minute phone conversation with Sam a few days earlier. Sam answered a bunch of questions regarding a new Altima and M’Lady’s partnership with TrueCar. I quickly developed a trust with Sam as he knew I was reluctant to drive that far just to be given the old “switch-a-roo” by another car salesman. With the price TrueCar was offering, I had to make the long trip up. When I got there, Sam immediately helped get my 3 kids settled into M’Lady’s kid area, offered my wife and I some beverages and within minutes, we were test-driving the 2016 Altima. What I love about TrueCar (thanks to Sam’s explanation) is that the price you see is the price you get. I shopped the same car at multiple dealerships and the TrueCar price was just about $1,000 less than the best offer I worked at a different dealership. The price was right, the deal was done and the paperwork began. Although Sam (AND THE PRICE OF THE CAR) was the star of the show, the finance guy truly helped me with not only the new purchase, but gave me some great advice on how to sell my old car. Every question I asked, he was willing to answer and I’m grateful for that. Before I drove the car off the lot, Sam spent about 20 minutes with me setting up all the new features the 2016 Altima had to offer. I’m sure everyone gets this treatment, but it was a good feeling knowing that Sam was willing to spend that much time making me feel comfortable in my new car. Sam reminded me that I have his cell phone number and that if I need anything to just give him a call! I hope I won’t need to, but I’m happy knowing that I can call him if I do. In short, we had a GREAT experience at M’Lady thanks to Sam, TrueCar and everyone else involved.

    I bought my first Nissan Rogue yesterday and received great customer service from our sales person Allen and the sales manager. They were very accommodating in working with us for my trade in and didn't badger me with added extras and hidden costs. They applied a military discount for my husband and dropped the destination charge when we asked about it. Love my new car!

    The entire process took longer than I had expected, but in the end I walked out with the car I wanted. The staff was friendly and they never made me feel like they wouldn't do everything could to get me in the vehicle I wanted.

    We had a great experience today with our purchase. My husband talked directly with the sales manager, Tom Guilhooly serveral times. I took our trade in truck in for an appraisal. All went well. Tom and my husband talked #'s and I went back a little while later to finish paperwork, that we requested they start so I wouldn't have to be there forever. I talked to the salesman Severo Gonzaga, All went smoothly. I was out of there in less than an hour. Sure do hope when I have to go back that my service is not like any of these other reviews.

    I bought a 2016 Rogue at M'Lady over the weekend, and would certainly recommend working with Scott M'Lady. He's very friendly, and to the point. My family has bought two cars (three including the new Rogue) from him directly, and we have always had pleasant, quick experiences both times. I'd recommend you do your research on the prices of the vehicle(s) you're interested in first, and what APRs you'll qualify for, before you go in. I said I wanted to pay a certain amount a month, and no more, and that's what I got. The APR through Nissan financing for 75 months was cheaper than either of our banks could offer. And they were speedy as usual. My fiance and I showed up at 2 p.m., and were pulling out of the lot a little after 4 p.m., and that time included a test drive. The sales person (Phillip was who I dealt with ) who tries to sell you the options (paint and interior protection, etc.) is really amicable and wasn't overly pushy -- I said no to all the extras and he was very polite and never pressured me. I appreciate that. I would have given five stars, but they need to update their website to remove all the "incentives" from the vehicles -- because if you read closely, you'll realize the majority of customers don't actually qualify for those (new grad, military, etc.).

    As much as I dread the car buying experience, M'lady Nissan was great to work with! I purchased a used truck and traded in my old one. I believe that I received a fair price and didn't pay for anything I truly didn't want/need. They made it easy to close the deal quickly and even offered to remove some accessories from my old truck and install onto the new one at no charge. The only reason I'm not giving M'lady a 5 star is because on the day that I had some work done as part of the deal, I was told I'd get a loaner car but when I arrived, they were fresh out. Go figure. Over a hundred cars on the lot but none available to me. Fortunately, I brought my computer and worked from their waiting room. In the end, I'm happy with the overall experience and really love my new ride! Thanks M'lady!

    Happy with the new Altima. Good buying experience with professional, attentive staff. Frank (Product Specialist) helped us find the car we were looking for. We drove 2 hours to look at the cars we'd seen on the internet. Not disappointed.

    We decided to stop in and look at Nissan's options since our family is growing and our CR-V was getting up in miles. We took a Nissan Pathfinder for a ride and were really impressed with the features, quiet ride, and space. Sam was patient and took his time answering all of our questions. He was very helpful in making the decision between a Rogue and a Pathfinder. Eddie walked us through our financing options and was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. My wife and I feel like we got a fair deal and we love our new ride. This was our first time visiting M'Lady Nissan here in town, but if the customer service stays this way, I don't think it'll be our last. Thanks!

    My wife and I bought a new Nissan Rogue at M'Lady Nissan on Dec. 2015, Tony Bochenek helped us a lot. He is a new employee in M'Lady Nissan, and doing a wonderful job, no games, no lies. I met a lot of sales man before, he is the most impressive one. We are going to rate him excellent without hesitate.

    Hands down the worst experience for me. Of course they advertised the best price. But what good is a great price if you don't honor it? To avoid all the usual haggling and trouble with car buying, I asked on the phone for their best price, and the money factor/residual value etc. for lease calculation. This guy Eddie Colville calls me and acts upset as if I asked for the deeds to the dealership, and he goes on and on about how internet has made it difficult for him. Pure arrogance and attitude! Anyway, we get past that and I tell him very clearly that he doesn't need to divulge anything to me, and can give me his best lease rate for my desired configuration. And if I like it, I will say yes or I will go on my way. Then he gives me a lease price for my desired configuration. And that's it. I don't bargain, I don't ask for any discounts, and I agree to come to the dealership on the weekend. Its a 2 hr drive for me to the dealership. This guys says they are the biggest dealer in the midwest and how they sell so many cars, etc. and that getting this car of my choice won't be problem. And then on Friday, him and others from the dealership call and text to confirm my appointment and I remind them of my choice. Saturday morning, he calls and confirms the appointment again. After driving for an hour, I get a call from him and he tells me 3 cars were there the night before when he left at 8 pm, but they were sold between then and this morning. Maybe its all true, but he could have very easily held it for me or told me to make a deposit to hold. He didn't. But now he says "this is why I hate the internet deals." Then he again goes on to remind me of how big of a dealer they are with so much sales. All I care is one car that I need to buy with my hard earned money that he said he will have ready. But since he doesn't have it, he gives me a quote for the higher end model which costs more than what I want to pay. He tells me its a great car for the money. Maybe its the best deal, but now trust is lost and I don't want anything to do with them. So I would strongly recommend getting things in written if you do a deal with this dealership, and save yourself some trouble. Arrogance and attitude of being a big dealership came through in this experience. Me or my friends will not be buying my car from there anymore.

    Went through dealers internet pricing, and got what I thought was a good price on a car. Went to the dealer and was told the real price was $11000 more than the phone quote. Walked out. Got a call from the internet folks a few weeks later, and they confirmed the original quote was valid. Went back to the dealer and again was told it was $11000 more than the online quote. Clearly these folks are either playing games with customers, or don't have their act together.

    My husband and I were looking for an upgrade from our 2004 cavalier to a 2015 Nissan Rogue. Everyone at m'lady nissan was incredibly helpful and got us an incredible deal with smooth bargaining. On a budget we didn't think we'd be able to get the model we wanted but they worked with us and pulled some strings, and we left in our 2015 rogue sv same day, even though they had to bring it in from another dealership!

    Talked online to a rep for M'Lady Nissan in Crystal Lake(an hour away) and had quoted me an e-price and had told him I was financing myself. Had also asked what the Out the Door price would be but they don't do that so he sent me the 7% tax, title and license, and doc fee. So I drive down and talk to the sales rep and find out that their online people messed up and the price is 500 higher because I am not financing through them and 850 more for destination charge. So the car is now almost $2000 more then expecting. No remorse from the sales rep, just that they screwed up. They kept pushing to finance through them and told me that they couldn't sell me the car at the price talked about and that is that
