  • Simple oil change disaster

    Take truck in for oil change and tire rotation. Left truck over night. Came in to pick my truck up and it is smoking like crazy, and show it to the service advisor and was told I saw that last night and the tech stated it was normal and would go away. This is oil smoke no way this is normal. I check the oil and the level is at the very top of the dip stick and black like it wasn’t changed, obviously at minimum of double filled with oil. I WILL NOT EVER RETURN TO THIS DEALERSHIP AND WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE I KNOW AVOIDS THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE IS THERE.

    I am so happy that I came to Jim Tidwell and even more grateful that I connected with Teddy. I had just come from a different dealership that didn’t have what I was looking for. I knew I had to trade in my Land Rover Sport for a more family friendly, yet sporty, suv and was surprised the dealership had the Black on Black Ford Explorer Sport that I was manifesting. I knew I wanted to walk off the lot with the car and Teddy made it easy to do that; even while wrangling two toddlers. The car is in excellent condition and Teddy was a transparent, engaging and effective communicator.

    We made an appointment for my wife’s car online, then updated online also, with a request for a callback or email regarding time to complete and cost. Only got a confirmation email with that request in it. Day prior to appointment same email, yet to call or email with estimate. My wif arrived, told her they would need car AT LEAST overnight. She would need to call rental company to arrange, even though that’s indicated in the appointment request. Couldn’t get a car. Finally my wife left without service.

  • I was worried but I shouldn't have been

    Let's start here. I was walking down the street in my 64.... wait. Wrong story. So I bought a truck. Truck was nice. Had some miles but still nice. I decided to take this truck on a road trip with my car and trailer in tow. Well guess how surprised I was when I found out I needed a brake controller to even have trailer breaks. Not even a little but no gain control. So mid trip. I stop in to Tidwell. Sandy the service adviser. Can't say enough about her. Absolutely amazing to deal with. She gets me the paper work to have this controller installed and programmed. After making sure we were both talking about the same controller she was able to get my truck in the shop the very next morning. They call me 4 hours later and my truck was done. Finally! Good brakes. After all was said and done. She even offered some of her lunch as I'm sure I was staring it down like a cat does a mice. (It looked good!) Over all 10 out of 10 would go again. Thinking about making this the dealer I go to for my truck even though it's out of state for me

    I want to find out information about a recall today. I talk to a new person named Johnny steetman Very polite and help me to find out about my recall on my Ford Explorer. Now this is the second time I’ve met this man named Michael Guittar he is a service advisor. I was so glad to see him because I remembered him he is very helpful and very professional. I’ve been with your dealer for a while now and I see people come and go and I hope you hold onto Michael Guittar he is definitely an asset to the Ford Dealership.
