by Don C Mathis on 02/26/2025In my 65 years of owning and driving a car, I have never experienced the awesome incredible amazing excellent service like I receive from Luis Valdez of Jim Ellis Chevrolet. If Jim Ellis is smart, they will do everything possible to be sure… they hold onto him. 2009 Tahoe - Maintenance & Repair
by Sam on 02/14/2018This is my son's vehicle. He needed several items repaired on the vehicle. They issued a list of items amounting to $6K. After negotiating down to approximately $3,198.00 of what really needed to be repaired I issued an okay. However,… after all was performed and paid for, I was looking over some past M&R performed on the vehicle. Oddly enough, a Solenoid Assembly - Canister Vent and Replace - had been done in 1 month earlier. Upon questioning they denied that the Solenoid was good on the existing new one that was put in 1 month ago. Needless to say this is a $300 item and I wanted answers. Well there were not any answers except that's what the data stated. Well, why did they not look and call me when the repairs were being performed. After talking with the Service Rep. and calling the Service Manager no return call. Not knowing a lot about M&R on vehicles, no one likes to feel ripped off. The parties involved are Roman Woldemariam, Mike Brown and the inattentive Service Manager.Terrible
by Ally on 11/17/2017I went in for an oil change and car wash at 7.30 and left at 11.45. My car was taken back twice bc the car wash was TERRIBLE. I purposely scheduled this bc it’s the only time I have. After 4 hours and 15 minutes I still left with a dirty… interior. I had such great service my first time there which is why I came back. Not only did I spend half of my day at your dealership miss a work meeting but left with an incomplete job.You are absolutely right! âTerribleâ and itâs unacceptable. Our target time, with a wash and vacuum is one hour (45-minutes without a wash). We are looking into why we blew this one so completely. We apologize for the inconvenience!

by KIMBCOOL on 08/14/2016updated 08/31/2016I would like to make a few lines on your service department and mechanics. Vladimir Kochubey is the start of this. I have close outside friends that are not as sincere / truthful / patient with all things as Vladimir Kochubey is. I am a… proud Jin Ellis Chevy owner (2008 silver HHR SS) and would by a new one if made on 2017 or just a silver Equinox SS 6 calendar would be nice. Back to the service; And that is the thing that keeps me coming back to Jim Ellis. I build oil refineries all over the world I know about mechanical things very much (they malfunction / they break ...it gets replaced....this is it) It is not much more complicated as that. So even if the parts wear out what is the magnetically attraction I have with Chevy /and Jim Ellis......... it may take longer to actually fix the broken part or find the malfunction. Bottom line it got done correctly in the end. So it ran over schedule and the problem couldn't be found in a short time. The dedication I got when the head mechanic drove my car for a week to Ellis and back to his home on a daily basis to find the problem....THAT IMPRESSED ME.... Also did I say I build oil refinery's ...I DONT IMPRESS EASY, MY JOB REQUIRES THIS / VERY PICKY. I don't complement often unless it is absolutely due. The head mechanic didn't find the exact problem ( ele. power steering assist shutdown symptom) Although I was informed by Vladimir Kochubey he disconnected & reconnected every electrical "multipin connection" he could find. In this lengthy process, of 8 days. the problem disappeared. When I got back from Romania / India and drove the SS for a month it never did malfunction again. I would of been happy to pay for what was done, although there was no technical diagnosis on the problem or replaced parts. For the mechanic it didn't pay.(he didn't make any money) I forget the head mechanics name, Vladimir Kochubey remembers this head mechanic and the situation. Dedication.....you can not buy this dedication.....this is "born in to your people"....... it is always perfect in the end. Because you, Jim Ellis you have been selective of the people you have working for you. This reason I will buy another Chevy from you ....service. The wife wants a tiny jeep thing...that is not happening. I Seriously think on a silver Equinox 6 cylendar (with all the goodies) ......praying for a SS 2017....Please build one Chevy. A happy for the moment Chevy owner Kim Bryan CooleyVlad is Outstanding!

by Jgp2756 on 06/16/2016Brandon Colon is my Service Advisor and is top notch when it comes to customer service. Always ensures the customer is informed of the work performed and that you are satisfied with the Jim Ellis experience.Service failed to follow up and did not fix issue
by BrianWo on 05/24/2016Service failed to follow up and did not fix issue. Truck has a few days left for ac warranty and they couldn't figure it out. They never followed up as they said they would. Who know if I'm going to have to pay for the repair soon or not?… Either way, they seem to always be too busy to troubleshoot an issue if it is not straight forward or if they don't get a "code". They make it obvious that they are busy and that their technicians work by the job they fix. Customer should never sense that.Usually great...stumbled this time.
by Loujack51 on 05/13/2016Jim Ellis' service is usually the best. There was a misunderstanding about our parts order. We still received excellent service when our parts came in.Above abd beyond!!
by Peaches813 on 02/25/2016updated 03/08/2016Once again I was completely wowed by the performance of the employees.Everyone went out of their way to make sure I was taken care. Brandon,as usual, went above and beyond to make my appointment as quick and painless as possible. He took the… time to answer any and all my questions. He really makes you feel like apart of the family, not just another customer..
