Leasing new xt5

underwhelmed
by whitley on 07/26/2023It was very underwhelming. The salesperson started by implying he did not like EVs. We were buying an EV then while from the back seat when demoing the info system he would just blast through the screens and he set up OnStar incorrectly.… They did not know the current incentives for a new ev Cadillac. He did not show the needed info like mirror adjustment, telescoping steering wheel how to use the emergency key, missing cargo cover and many other fascists of the new car. The car stopped running on the 7th day from purchase had to be towed to a different dealer (much better one). The battery was shot. Super Cruise never worked and other functions quite working too. It's been a very bad experience. He was taking multiple phone calls and had us watch family photos while stepping away for long periods of time. The finance manager really wanted us to spend an extra $1,200 on appearance insurance and was notably uninterested in us when we refused it. They charged for but did not perform the recall updates which were out in April this is July and sent us on our way. Lied about tire rotation and pending vehicle's updates. The floors in the finance managers office very dirty. Sales manager who's name is on closing docs did not even bother to say hello. Once I called for an update your representative totally "Gaslighted" using Covid and staffing as an excuse for not giving an update. Terrible experience again
by Pliniojr on 07/21/2023Owning a cadillac used to mean a status in the car world, it meant sophistication, it meant professional and luxurious. This dealership has taken the joy of owning one of americas icons and swept the floor with it. Just a few years ago… doing business with autonation cadillac was fantastic, they’ve always taken their time fixing the vehicle but they provided the owners with a reliable loaner that allowed you to continue your life with the same comfort as the one you are used to on your car, so even though the price for the repairs have always been steep it really wasn’t that important because you were able to continue your life without disrupting your day to day tasks. Currently the management team of autonation decided to not offer loaners anymore and force you to either be without a car for sometimes 2 weeks or pay out of your own pocket for a rental, however they still charge you labor costs at over $250 per labor hour, that is an insult to me. On top of that they ghosted me for over 5 days where i could not get a hold of my service advisor, left voice messages, text messages, even left a message with the receptionist and still they ignored my calls, that is the level of unprofessional behavior i had to deal with on my car repair. Because of this horrible experience i will never again purchase a cadillac or any car from this dealer. Terrible Service
by jwk7000 on 07/17/2023I have always bought BMWs and Lexus who have great service departments but was excited to get my first Cadillac SUV thinking they operated on a equal plane. Wrong. For my very first service I was asked to arrive 10 minutes early...why? I… waited in my car for 20 minutes after my appointment time. It took over an hour and a half for the service. Looking at the service sheet all they really did what change the oil and rotate my tires. Something JiffyLube does in less than 30 minutes. I drove in with a message that one of my tires had low pressure...guess what it was low when I left. My dash also lit up that window washer fluid was low as I left...they didn't check that either. Is this the service that is stardard for a Cadillac store??We are disappointed to learn of your experience here at AutoNation Cadillac West Palm Beach, but will take this opportunity to improve. There wasn't an appointment available at the AutoNation Cadillac Service Department, but Beverly said if I stopped by they could fit me in. I was… helped by Wilson when I arrived, and machanic Miguel explained (and showed me) what was going on with my car. Tony drove me locally since my car needed to stay. After the necessary parts arrived, the work was completed and I was able to carry on with my road trip. Forgotten

The sales manager saw us waiting and answered all our questions and brought another sales person to help us without any inconvenience to us. She was very professional,… answered all our questions but was also very personable. We leased the vehicle and the F&I lady was the best. Helped us with everything because this was the first time we have ever leased. The only thing that bothered us a little was when we came out our sales lady was on to her next customer with our keys, belongings out of our trade etc. in her office which we had to go in to get. Kind of uncomfortable. Our car was out front without our license plate and wasn’t filled with gas like we were told. She did put our license plate on and delivered us the vehicle and truthfully we didn’t say anything about the gas. But you should know, I gave them everything they needed including financing. So all the really… needed me to do was sign the paperwork. This is an awesome place and my Sales Manage Abi was awesome.
