AVOID THIS DEALER...

by Paul S on 01/22/2024

AVOID THESE GUYS LIKE THE PLAGUE! In my 46 years of driving, I have purchased well over a dozen cars for my family and myself. I have never had a worse experience than with Sawgrass Infiniti. Last week, I purchased a 2 year old, non-Infiniti branded car from Sawgrass. The car has electrical issues which prohibits me from driving the vehicle. I have asked Sawgrass for help – I would strongly prefer returning the car for a refund – If that wasn’t available, I just wanted help from Sawgrass with a dealership (that they have a relationship with) that could resolve this issue. But to no avail – they won’t even return my calls and provided zero help. My STRONG RECOMMENDATION – Go to JM Lexus or some dealer in the area for a used car. After running into this problem I have now searched other dealership policies. Some offer 60 day or a 2000 mile limited warranties for used cars that are not even their brand. This is a big expense for most people and to be ghosted by the general manager/owner is absolutely insulting. Sawgrass Infiniti has 1 out of 5 stars on BBB with a slew of complaints – I should have investigated before going there… that’s on me. There are much better options than this group.

Very Professional

by beatriznb on 05/28/2016

It was a welcomed surprise to find a dealer that kept their commitment. As I waited for my insurance to declare my car a total loss, I went to Infiniti, where Mr. Russo, knowing I could not close on a deal right away, allowed me to test drive a car and worked with me on a price. When four weeks later I closed on the lease, there were no surprises! The paperwork was completed and we were able to leave with the new car in 2 hours. After years of leaving dealers exhausted when buying cars, Mr. Russo and Sawgrass Infiniti made this one a positive experience.

very unprofessional

by claudia17 on 09/06/2014

My husband and I have been shopping for a car for the last week. First we went to Sawgrass Infiniti, but we got an amazing deal for the same car in another dealership nearby. The other dealership, however, needed to order the car and we needed to wait a short time. I wanted to surprise my husband and get him the car in time for his birthday, so I gave Sawgrass another chance to earn our business. I called them and my sales associate recommended that I speak directly to Ron S (one of the sales managers). When I spoke to him, I had the most unpleasant, unprofessional, chauvinistic business experiences of my life. He mocked me, made jokes, and laughed at me during our call. All I asked was if they could meet, or even come close, to the deal that the other dealer had made me. I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone! Ron S did not understand that business is about numbers, and there is NO place for this type of treatment in a professional environment. Buy elsewhere

Knowledgeable, Friendly Staff

by Jeff on 02/04/2014

I purchased a used 2013 JX45 from this dealership, and the entire buying experience from start to finish was very smooth. My salesperson, Rufus, was very personable and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle. He and his supporting team worked with me to get me out of my trade, and I feel like I drove away with a great deal. They were never pushy or aggressive, and I felt the team was professional all the way down the line, from my salesperson, to the pre-owned manager Matt, the finance manager and the sales manager. I would recommend this dealership for someone who is looking for a "chill" car buying experience without all the pressure.

Best total car buying experience ever!

by saf37 on 04/29/2013

I would like to commend and recommend Jason F. of Sawgrass Infiniti. Jason F. helped me purchase my 2013 Infiniti G37 Sedan. He was extremely knowledgable about all aspects of the Infiniti brand and it's vehicles. I was made to feel quite at home at Sawgrass Infiniti. I was promptly introduced to all of the sales managers. The most dificult decision I had with my purchase was the color selection. I liked them all. I love this car, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Jason F. who is a true professional and I love this dealership. Can't wait to see the new Q50!!! P.S. Thanks Gabriel in Finance. Great Job. Thank you all!!

BEST CAR LEASING EXPERIENCE EVER!

by slavad on 11/16/2012

We highly recommend Sawgrass Infiniti to anyone. We had the pleasure of working with their Sales & Internet Manager Pier R., who made the whole process an absolute pleasure from showing us the car to discussing our options and finally signing a lease. A very honest and knowledgeable person with great respect for his clients. We went once to see and test drive the car a month ago. After that we have been communicating via email and over the phone and he has been available to answer our questions right away every time. There were no endless negotiating at the dealership. We never felt pressure to close a deal. Unlike other car dealers, there were no bogus fees to start with, there were no papers with numbers handwritten on, where they make you put initials next to. It was just the word of an honest businessman. We agreed on a deal over the phone before we returned to the dealership to take delivery of our JX 35. The car was ready and waiting for us and was exactly what we wanted. The deal was exactly what we were promised it would be. After this great experience it would be very difficult to visit any other dealership.

Awesome 1st Car Buying Experience

by aliariess on 06/04/2012

I just got my car on June 2, 2012 For my first car buying experience from a dealer, I don't think it can get any better. Just so you understand it was me (26 yrs) and my sister-in-law. Rufus was my sales rep and I don't think i could ask for anyone better. He wasn't pushy (biggest plus), he was friendly, personable and attentive. At no point did I feel like I was being duped and I got an excellent deal on my 2011 G37, over $1000 below their selling price. (Thanks to Gordan, the sales manager who I feel really tried to work with my budget fairly). I did my research so I know the kind of price I could be looking at considering the mileage on the car, and the deal that I got was fair. You just need to do your research, know what your willing to pay, and when you will walk to find a better deal. Rufus was well informed on the vehicle and the test drive was superb. Now onto financing, I came in with my own financing but my husband was my co-signer who is currently in Korea serving our country, but I had Power of Attorney. I was informed that Corporate Offices don't accept Power of Attorney in place of my husband being there, so I was a little beside myself. ( I might still call corporate to verify this and to request that they consider revising this policy if it is the case b/c there should be special conditions available to the military and their family members). I couldn't contact them Saturday b/c their offices are closed. But, back to the point, our finance guy said he would look into getting us a good rate with all of the added services I had, (extended warranty and total loss protection). He exceeded my expectation, he actually got me a better deal with just me alone, no co-signers. The personal financing I had, prior to walking in was at 3.09% for 60 months. He got me 2.84% at 60 months or 3.09% at 72 months. I choose to go for 72 months so i can have a lower car note. Might I add, i have excellent credit. Beyond getting good financing, our finance rep was personable, polite and he explained all of the options availabe to me (if i wanted to add LoJack or Vehicle Maintenance etc). And it showed what my monthly payments would look like with each of the options i choose and at the interest rate I choose. He didn't rush through anything. If i needed clarification he gladly obliged. His son is actually in the Marines. Talking to him was actually like talking to a new friend. I'm sorry I can't remember his name b/c I like to give credit where it's due, I will be sure to post it later. I have Infiniti Warranty which i can take to any infiniti dealership which is a plus since the mil move around a lot. And I will feel more security getting my car serviced at an infiniti dealer. All around I had a great experience with this place. I can't comment on the service department seeing as how I haven't had it serviced yet but my car buying experience couldn't be beat. In total I was there for maybe 5 hours from walking in the doors to driving off the lot with my car. You guys rock!!

good experience/no bs salesman

by flare on 01/21/2012

I purchased an M35 in 2008. The salespeople were informative and forthcoming. They were still in car sales of course but as soon as they realized I was an informed buyer they quickly dropped the sales tactics. Take your homework in with you and don't be shy about refering to /doublechecking your notes all through the process. It saved me a lot of time. My most useful homework came from the car buying kit I purchased from Consumer Reports. No other sources offered up to date and accurate manufacturer invoice figures as well as factory holdbacks, spiffs or other factory to dealer incentives which push invoice numbers artificially high. Most websites give price you should pay numbers thousands too high. Don't confine your offer to Consumer Reports suggested figures either. I've beaten their suggested price on my last three purchases, once by $1,200. . That's a lot of money to me. And always remember that factories reserve some money to dealers that even CR doesn't know about. I've blathered on at length about my process because some dealers and some salesmen won't drop the games they play. Typically, they'll try to dismiss your numbers as nonsense and push on with the hard sell, wear the customer down physically and emotionally hoping to wear you down to the point you'll agree to anything. Walk out. To the credit of the salespeople at Sawgrass They didn't do this. My last word of advice is this: always try to get the youngest salesman on the lot. How? Call the dealership ahead of time and tell the receptionist you can't remember the salesman's name but you remember he was the youngest one at the dealership. Good luck!

My Purchase Review

by fiestyreddevil on 08/11/2011

I recently purchased 2011 Infiniti G37 Journey with premium, navigation, interior accent package from here. Sales person, Pier Russo, was the nicest guy I worked with. Answered all my question, took me on test ride (more than once) whenever I asked, respected me and my time. The most important part was, he was honest, never promised moon, honest in everything, and stood by the price he gave me one week earlier. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to buy Infiniti. They also gave me very good value for my trade in straight forward, while some other luxury car dealerships started playing games with trade in price. Dealership is very good and give definite vibe of being a luxury car dealership.

Sawgrass Infinity Poor Customer Service and unethical business practices

by dalter on 04/22/2010

Sawgrass Infinity took advantage of my dad, an elderly gentleman and did not act in an ethical manner. He went into dealership to complain about a safety feature he needed repaired, the car jerked when put in reverse. They charge him $942 for other maintenance and failed to fix the safety problem. When he takes the car back to them a few days later because repair was not satisfied, salesman magically appears in service to tell him his lease is up. They tell us they won't credit us for repairs unless he leases another car from them. Meanwhile, service manager, Steve tells us the car jerking is normal because they couldn't fix it!!! We leave dealership, repair not satisfied. Left message on General Manager's voicemail don't get a return call. This is what he gets after being a loyal customer for 15 years.

Excellent Dealership very aggressive pricing

by tangofan on 07/20/2008

I had sent an inquiry to Sawgrass Infiniti on an EX35. My salesperson Matt was excellent. Great follow up and wonderful treatment. He made time for me everytime I showed up (twice with no appointment) and the pricing I received was very reasonable. They had a very good amount of cars in stock although they did not have the exact color combo & options I wanted. He was willing to match any price I had received but did not have the car I really wanted. I would highly recommend this dealship as they are very easy to work with and I never felt any pressure at all. Even thought I bought elsewhere, they are more than willing to do all my scheduled maintenance. Class Act at this dealship. I highly recommend!!

Bad experience / Poor followup

by carfan25 on 03/15/2008

Infiniti was advertising their G37 Journey Model with Premium Pkg on their website for $419/Mo. with $2,718 down for a 39month lease. So I went to test drive one and then sat down with salesperson to discuss numbers. For my vehicle, they offered me $15K less than the Kelly Blue Book and NADA current Trade-In value even though it's in very good condition. I was expecting a little bit less because dealers have to take the risk but not 15 thousand dollars below trade-in value. Then they asked me to come up with $14,000 down payment for a monthly lease payment of $1,100 on a 48mo. lease. When I told them that wasn't going to work for me, they showed no interest in coming up with a better deal. They simply told me they would touch base with their used car manager and call me back the next day. Two days later the salesperson called me to find out if I had any questions but never came back with a better proposal. Ended up purchasing a Lexus, which offered me a better deal and were willing to negotiate. Fit and finish of Lexus is superior to Infiniti's.

I leased a used 2006, G35

by maggie23 on 11/08/2007

Last week I leased a used G35 from your establishment, when I went in the deal was $1500 deposit and $410 a month, for 36 months totaling $16,260.00, the deal I got was $1000 deposit and $400 a month for 48 months, totaling $20,200.00. My husband had done a deal for a new BMW almost the same price but it included all the maintenance, so in order to seal the deal, your salesperson promised me 3 free oil changes. When I was in the office with Ron the finance person, I asked please to get me the spare key, because they gave me only one and a voucher for the oil changes. When I called the salesperson Paul (very nice) he said that on a lease you only get one key. I’m not 20 years old and I have leased new and used cars before and I never got only one key. Ron told me they would look for the other key. When I called back, Paul told me that they did not make any money on the deal and that the key would cost me $200 and I will not be getting the free oil changes. As a customer, I do not believe I should concerned whether the dealership makes any money or not. If that was case, no offer or promises should have been made and I would have gone someplace else to lease my vehicle. I picked up the car and I did not even get a full tank of gas. When I called, Paul told me that on used cars they only give you ½ a tank of gas. I’m sorry, but all of this has left a sour taste. For less than $300 your dealership looks cheap and it shows that you do not care if the customer is happy, and an unhappy customer might cost you a great deal more. I have co workers that really love my car, and as of now I would never recommend anybody to your dealership.
