  • Best Car Buying Experience Ever!!!

    I normally do not heap high praise on new car salespeople, however, I feel compelled to do so for Marla Allen at Johnson Honda of Stuart. Marla literally moved mountains in order to obtain for me a new 2017 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E, which is hard to find. She went as far as to hold a sales price firm for an incoming delivery even though the sale was only good for in stock vehicles. She was especially helpful and kind and kept me informed by way of email as to the progression of events. Marla was even willing to handle the entire transaction, including delivery, without my ever having to visit the dealership. That, my friends, is called excellent customer service.   • Stay Away !! Dishonest Bait and Switch!!

    Stay away at all costs!! Stay away from this car dealership unless you enjoy having the dealership breach its written, agreed to deal for price, monthly payment and interest rate - at the last minute. Very dishonest dealings and completely disrespectful of your time and convenience. . We had contacted the dealer's concierge service, test drove vehicles, negotiated and agreed to a price which they confirmed several times in email - but they welched on the deal after we had signed all the documents, trade in, etc. I went from a most satisfied customer in my first encounter with this dealership to its most unhappy critic. Ownership and management would be appalled if they knew. If I ran my business this way, I'd be out of business. Stay away - I'm sure you'll be treated better elsewhere.

    ATTENTION CORPORATE CUSTOMERS - This review is for you. In January my corporation bought a new Honda Odyssey Van. We were clear with the Salesman, the General Manager, and the Credit Manager that did the paperwork that this was to be purchased by the corporation and not to be on my personal credit (other than me personally a guarantor for the loan, which wouldn’t show up on my credit report unless the corporation were t default on the loan). Of the many vehicles the business has bought, only one other company had screwed this up and we exhaustingly described exactly how it should be done to avoid this issue happening again. Everyone there said well, we would never do that to you. I would have preferred to use my Business line of auto credit with ALLY to avoid any issue, but the salesman, the manager and the credit manager all assured me this would NEVER happen with them, and convinced me to use Honda’s financing. Well today I pulled my personal credit and there it was as if I had just done a personal loan. When I called my salesman Mark Zisk, he said ‘I never said it would be that way’ conveniently forgetting how we painstakingly talked about this with him, as well as everyone else there involved in the transaction. No managers were there to talk to today, but it’s clear they will lie about whatever they can in order to get the sale in such a way that they get the most profit, regardless if its good for the customer. I truly believed Honda, who makes a quality product would be above the slimy lying stereotypical salesman thing, but so far, my experience does not offer me much hope. I’m hoping that when I arrive there tomorrow they will have the problem fixed and we can continue to bring this dealership our business and we can amend this review, but as of tonight, I would caution and advise any of my corporate friends to steer clear and deal with a dealership that will not boldface lie to you, especially when we were SO VERY CLEAR with them as to what we wanted.

    We bought a 2016 Pilot from Johnson. We informed Salesman & Manager that we "must" have the navigation feature.....a MUST have item for my wife. One of the main reasons we bought a new car. We were VERY clear. They looked at wife's phone & said "no problem, the Hondalink system works perfectly with your mobile phone. All you need do is go home, read the manual & set it up." We tried and tried and tried. Salesman told me 3 times..." Honda has a glitch in the software and they're working on it. Should be fixed in a week or so. This lie continued for 3-4 months. The Service Mgr. actually introduced us to their I-Phone expert, saying he would set it up for us. He didn't! We complained & the GM got involved. His solution? trade it in at a HUGE loss for a more expensive model that actually will (??) work as promised. Said he'd find us that more expensive Pilot model. He never did, and we're not gonna pay $6-8000 more anyway. We want our money back & will pursue remedies. They "should" simply unwind the deal & refund our money so we can buy elsewhere. My wife is so ill over the way she was treated and now won't drive the car. What an awful way to treat a customer buying their 1'st Honda.

    We leased a 2015 Honda Civic. We ran into an initial issue, which does happen. However, what separates the good from the great id how the problem is handled. The staff of Johnson Honda went to great lengths to ensure our satisfaction and chose to help the customer rather than concern themselves with the deal itself.This is always the way to handle things, but it is often not done. The facility itself is immaculate and reflects the image that they want to present. Kudos to Johnson Honda. We would have no issue with doing business with Johnson again and would highly recommend this dealership.

  • dealer fees

    they tell me. i am getting a great deal. still did not know. the great deal was there on line asking price. then on top of all the fees.they hit me with a dealer fee of 699.00. i am so glade i did not buy the car.

    We were shopping for a Honda CRV because we could tow it flat. We had tried other dealers but couldn't find the model we wanted. Rick F at Johnson Honda had the model we wanted and made the purchase easy.

    I was in an accident that wound up totaling my 2009 Civic Si so I was in the market for a new car quickly. I knew I wanted a new 2012 Civic Si (the 2009 saved my life! but thats a whole other story) We have been using Johnson Honda in Stuart for a close to a year now for warranty issues and some service on our family's Hondas, My wife Has a CR-V and I have an Si, I believe in total we have owned about 7-Hondas and we have been pleased with every single one. On Wednesday I contacted the Johnson Honda internet team online about availability and was told what they had. I was also quoted a good price. Thursday I did some research, mostly on Edmunds.com and some Honda-specific forums to see what the reviews were on the newer models and what Edmunds listed as the TMV (a fair price that I should expect to pay) Once all my research was done I knew exactly what I wanted and what I wanted to pay, luckily the price from Johnson Honda was actually UNDER the Edmunds TMV! price. (Gotta love those end-of-year incentives!) I looked around at a few other dealerships to see what colors/options they had, but since I have always had a great experience with Johnson Honda I decided to go to them first. Friday we stopped by Johnson Honda (my research and quotes in-hand) and Dennis showed me the cars, luckily I fell in love with one of the colors they had. They had exactly what I wanted at exactly the price he originally quoted me. I was still in some pain from the Accident and I didn't want to spend many hours purchasing a car so I told Dennis that I wanted to be out of there by a certain time. (Which he made sure we made) Everyone in Johnson Honda made the experience a pleasant one and I didn't even have to question any prices, as everything matched up perfectly. We actually had a good time buying a car and didn't feel pressured into anything. I will definitely go to Johnson Honda in Stuart, FL for my next vehicle!     Update 7/22/13 The GM Mario called and offered reimbursement for my trip down to pick up the vehicle that was promised but sold to someone else....Will see if the reimbursement arrives...Mario seem straightforward but I still would not trust the New Car Manager, Used Car Manager or the General Sales Manager...
