Greatest!
My first Subaru!
by jennifera1 on 08/28/2013updated 06/09/2025After my first winter back in Colorado, I decided it was time to take winter driving seriously. I researched several makes and decided that my first choice was a Subaru Impreza. The test drive really sold me on the car. Tim, my salesperson,… showed me what the car can do. The entire process of purchasing the car was extremely pleasant and simple. I highly recommend AutoNation Subaru West!Jennifer, thanks so much for your feedback. We're thrilled you found Tim so helpful and knowledgeable and the whole experience pleasant and easy. Our #1 goal is for all our customers to feel that way when they drive away. If there is anything else we can do for you, please give us a call. Safe (and fun) driving!
Best Car Buying Experience of My Life
by davek6 on 12/30/2013updated 06/09/2025Buying a new car has never been my idea of a good time. The excitement of obtaining a new vehicle tends to be overshadowed by the all day ordeal of making a deal. This time was different. I bought a 2014 Subaru Outback 3.6 from Alan S. at… AutoNation Subaru West and was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. After researching the vehicle I wanted on Edmunds and other sites I submitted an online request for a quote from AutoNation. Within minutes I received an email from Alan quoting me a fair price for the vehicle I wanted. When we spoke over the phone Alan was pleasant and straightforward in answering my questions. He let me do the talking and listened carefully. From test drive to final paperwork the deal took only about 2 hours, unheard of among my many car buying experiences. While at the dealership I saw a brand new color for 2014 and changed my mind in favor of that color. I spent another 3 hours at the dealership while the sales team searched all over town to find that vehicle and then detailed the car for me when it arrived. While I waited they bought me a late lunch . . . delivered to the dealership! Who does that in the car business? Alan S. and AutoNation Subaru West do, that's who! Alan stayed late to complete the process of orienting me to controls and features of the vehicle. It was obvious Alan cared deeply about my satisfaction.Either dishonest or unknowledgeable
by phil_motor on 10/02/2013updated 06/09/2025Repeatedly told me they couldn't see (smell) the problem, even though the problem was obvious to many other people. Dishonest or not capable of determining obvious problems?Great buying experience
by jheller105 on 08/15/2013updated 06/09/2025Worked with Ann Marie G. the head of internet sales. Great price, no high pressure, easy to work with, good inventory. I love my new 2013 Outback Ltd.Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We appreciate your business. It is our goal for all our staff to provide a positive customer experience and were glad you are satisfied. Happy motoring in your Outback!
Best I have found
by colonole1 on 03/10/2013updated 06/09/2025My wife and I, between, us, have had either 1 or 2 Subarus continuously for nearly 30 years (one each from Go for 11 years now). Over that time we have worked with 8-10 service operations in several states. This one is by far the best. They… get the work done right, on time, and with no surprises on cost. Superb! Nice folks too.Best car-buying experience ever!
by BillandBarb on 10/31/2013updated 06/09/2025We bought a 2014 Subaru Outback from AutoNation Subaru West--through the Costco Auto Program. It was a great experience. Our salesman, Tim A., was incredibly knowledgeable and low-key. We will definitely go back.Horrible Sales Team
by philote on 01/24/2012updated 06/09/2025The sales team Lied to me multiple times in the 45 minutes I was there. When I called them on their lies they got [non-permissible content removed] and hostile with me. A few of the lies I was told were; that my credit rating was 40 points… lower than what it really was. They tried to use that to up a Loan interest for their profit. The reason I wanted a dealer loan was that Subaru was offering 1.9% apr for 60 months. The sales person "Eric" told me over and over that "no, Subaru was not offering 1.9% for 60 only 2.9% for 60". He guaranteed me that this was the case, until I called 4 other dealers. He then changed his tone and offered me 1.9% for 60 months. They also tried to cheat me on my trade in. Like I said before, when his tactics were not working he got very [non-permissible content removed](childish) and hostile. I ended up at Groove Subaru where the experience was much better, they did not lie to me once.Matched lowest offer on 2013 Subaru Outback
by dave482 on 07/31/2013updated 06/09/2025I asked for internet price quotes for a new 2013 Subaru Outback from all of the Denver area dealers. Auto Nation West matched the lowest offer. The sales team was easy to work with and very informative. Mary Lynne is an experienced… salesperson who knows the car very well.Go to Go Subaru West for your next Subaru!
by MichaelD68 on 03/30/2013updated 06/09/2025My wife and I just bought two cars the same evening from Go Subaru West, a 2012 certified pre-owned Impreza and a new 2013 Impreza WRX. Frankly when it comes to overall car buying experiences, it's as good as it gets at Go Subaru West!… While the entire team from financing to service to sales are top notch, the real gem was Dan C. our sales guy. Dan was about as friendly and comfortable to work with as your next door neighbor, and the low pressure, knowledgeable, and individualized approach that Dan takes with his customers made the experience of car buying a pleasurable as a Sunday drive in the mountains. My wife and I both test drove two cars (so four test rides total), and Dan was very patient with all our questions and needs. Taking test runs up I-70 West and the Mother Cabrini Shrine road is a blast! We had originally gone in to get my wife a new ride (I had planned at looking at picking up a Jeep to change it up for my new car) but after hanging out with Dan for an hour or so and checking out the lastest Subies, I never crossed the street and got the WRX for myself after my wife decided on the 2012 Impreza (I should point out this is Subaru three and four for us...there isn't a better car in the automotive industry for Colorado than Subaru). Everyone at Go Subaru West are pleasant and exhibit the very best customer service philosophies...during the buying experience we toured the whole facility while the paperwork was being drawn up, met the service department guys, scheduled our first maintenance appointments as well as some agreed upon touch ups to our new rides, talked about coming to 'new Subaru owners night,' and Dan went through all the points of our new cars - from getting our cell phones hooked up to the integral bluetooth to climate control to steering wheel adjustments to radio programming. Keep in mind that as this turned into a 'two-fer' purchase with me deciding to buy one after my wife did, we were there for a good 7 hours, and the team stayed open a good 1 1/2 hours past closing time to complete our purchases. Dan even let me head to the back lot on my own and wander around as the sun went down to pick out cars I wanted to test drive. The financing was easy and comfortable...they gave us some initial terms with different combinations of down/trade/years and we just let them know what we wanted for monthly payments and they made it happen - in fact the financing end of things probably took less time than our decision-making and test driving. As a great couple of examples of the over-the-top customer service, we had a couple of things that needed done to our cars after purchase - my wife's windshield was cracked and needed replacing so they arranged to have some glass guys show up at her office the next week and take care of the new windshield, and my car purchase finished up so late they didn't have time to pull it in and detail it. Since I had to drop the titles to our trade-ins (both Subaru's with well ovver 200K miles on them :) a couple of days later, Dan scheduled a full detail for my WRX that same day. On top of that, Dan suddenly walked in to the customer service lounge while I was waiting for the detail to finish on his day off, just to make sure they had taken care of me. We are in love with both our new Subarus., and the only problem we currently have is who gets to drive what every morning! If you're looking for a new Subaru...Go to the guys at Go Subaru West!Had a much better experience elsewhere
by myers509 on 07/28/2012updated 06/09/2025We were recently in the market for a new Subaru and were very disappointed with several aspects of attempting to work with GO. The salesperson with whom we were dealing was not well researched and we caught him in several instances of… "stretching the truth" and also of trying to insert additional fees into the agreement. Additionally, he asked us to come into the dealership a couple of different times to talk about what we wanted and then didn't seem to have an actual reason for summoning us there. In fact, I had told him in advance exactly what we were seeking and he had not done even 1 minute of research regarding what was available. In the end, we went with a different dealer because we simply didn't trust the sales staff or the dealer. Where we did go was able to complete the sale with us in one morning with honest, up-front dialogue and pricing. The experience was completely different than GO, and I hope for the sake of Subaru of America that this dealer begins to listen to reviews and will be more honest and stop making potential customers feel like they are on the defense to avoid being cheated.Excellent service and experience
by hollyc724 on 04/02/2012updated 06/09/2025I highly recommend Go Subaru for their service. The service manager, Adam and Matt are great. They are very helpful, explain the issues and costs up front and are very knowledge.Friendly, Knowledgeable Salesperson
by carseeker8 on 10/19/2011updated 06/09/2025I cannot speak to the other reviews posted here regarding purchase experiences; however, I worked with Allen while shopping for a car and found him to be knowledgeable and pleasant. If you visit Go Subaru, ask for Allen.Fraudulent Financing Agreement AND Lies
by gosubaru_blows on 01/27/2012updated 06/09/2025When filling out financing paperwork it was clear that I wanted to go through the my credit union. I gave them my routing number, account number, etc. They asked if they could give me a better APR would I go through their financing and I… said no. A week ago I receive a statement in the mail from Subaru Motors Finance (Chase USA) for my first payment. I e-mailed & called asking to rectify this as they made an error and they said You must have changed your mind at the last minute. This was NOT the case. Upon further research, they receive a kickback if you finance through them. They havet returned my calls. I have since called my credit union to refinance the loan at a lower APR but Chase bank needs to release the loan first.ALl wrong
by dan_z1 on 11/15/2013updated 06/09/2025I recently purchased two 2013 Imprezas, great cars so far. The first one had to stay at the dealer for a few hours to get a new bumper because it had a chip in it. It came back with swirl scratches in the passenger door. The car went back… to the detail shop three times before my wife just accepted the scratches. Since she was going to be driving it, I let her make the decision, but I never would have accepted a scratched car with less than 20 miles on it. I got my car a week later. When it came up from the detail shop, it was dirty, smudged all over the inside of the doors, the dash was smeared. After my first experience a week earlier, I had little confidence in the detail shop, so I only sent it back once. Upon receiving it back in the same condition, I decided to just take it home and clean it myself, which was very easy. I just got my first service done at 3,111 miles on my car. I also complained about a grinding noise the vehicle was making. You can't drive this vehicle without making this noise, but it was returned to me with the service guy saying that he couldn't reproduce the noise. I laughed out loud at this, because it was so ridiculous. Instead of letting me drive the mechanic around, so he could hear the noise, the service desk just let me laugh. Upon getting the car home, I saw that the dealer had put a new service sticker in my window. The sticker said that my next service was due at 67,891miles. Remember that I brought my car in with 3,111 miles. The interval for service is either 3,500 miles or 7,000 miles, depending on driving conditions. The dealership said that the sticker was supposed to say 6,789 miles, but this still doesn't add up... I crawled under my vehicle after the oil change to try and locate the grinding noise, I do all of my own maintenance and repairs. This is the first time I've been to a service center in over 15 years. When I crawled under the vehicle to locate the grinding, I saw that the mechanic that changed my oil didn't even bother to wipe off the oil from the undercarriage. When you change the oil on these vehicles, it comes out pretty fast because the oil weight is very thin, but it also comes out sideways. It makes a decent mess, but anyone that takes a the smallest amount of pride in their work will wipe up the mess. So, I did this while I was under there, it took 20 seconds. They also overfilled my coolant and didn't top off my windshield wiper fluid. I saw today, on mysubaru.com, where you can track your maintenance, that the dealership assigned the service that I went in for to the WRONG car. They assigned the service to my wife's car, which only 2,000 miles on it. They took my VIN when I dropped off the car, how did they mess this up? The sales department was great, which is probably how they're still in business. I will NEVER again buy a vehicle from these guys. Never. Once you buy a vehicle, the attention to detail and service plummet. I'm telling everyone I know to avoid this dealership.New Outback 2014
by FrontRangeGal on 12/19/2013updated 06/09/2025My test drive experience was very informative with demonstrations of what happens if the car goes off the road and how well it handles the situation. I was then invited to go do my research on trade in values for my car and new prices for… Outbacks. I came back in armed with information and felt like an informed consumer. Their trade in price for my car exceeded what my search said it was worth and their sales price for the outback was spot on. The purchase process was easy and the processor was very personable. I was given a tour of service so I would know where my car was going when I brought it in for service and dropped it off at the service desk. So far I am very happy with the car.Best car buying experience ever!
by EvergreenLady on 11/03/2013updated 06/09/2025I am sure that I had the nicest car salesman (Dan C.) in the Denver area. And the followup offered by AutoNation West is unsurpassed ... they even sent me a tin of cookies as a thank you gift. They definitely understand how to relate to the… car buyer!!Online Sales was the way to go
by Vibrio on 02/28/2013updated 06/09/2025I picked out what kind of car I wanted online and asked for a quote. The online sales manager got back to me and we set up a time and day for a test drive. The test drive was awesome, so he found vehicles in my state that fit my… specifications, gave me a quote (which was FAR less than MSRB), and arranged for the transfer of my new car. Once it was here, he went through every feature in detail and even helped me set up my blue tooth stuff, which I am clueless about. I couldn't be happier with our entire interaction. Thanks Dan C for a wonderful experience. I love my new Subaru!Thank you so much for your warm recommendation of Dan and the team! We are so happy to hear you've had a great experience with us. We hope to continue to serve you for many years to come. Please do not hesitate to give us a call if there is anything we can do for you.
Not responsive
by mtweisberg on 09/01/2013updated 06/09/2025The initial quote initiated through Edmunds came back alright. When I emailed back asking for prices on a couple of other cars I never got quotes. Just a response that he was busy and would get back to me shortly. He never did.
