Dealership Sales Review
We were recently in the market for a new Subaru and were very disappointed with several aspects of attempting to work with GO. The salesperson with whom we were dealing was not well researched and we caught him in several instances of "stretching the truth" and also of trying to insert additional fees into the agreement. Additionally, he asked us to come into the dealership a couple of different times to talk about what we wanted and then didn't seem to have an actual reason for summoning us there. In fact, I had told him in advance exactly what we were seeking and he had not done even 1 minute of research regarding what was available. In the end, we went with a different dealer because we simply didn't trust the sales staff or the dealer. Where we did go was able to complete the sale with us in one morning with honest, up-front dialogue and pricing. The experience was completely different than GO, and I hope for the sake of Subaru of America that this dealer begins to listen to reviews and will be more honest and stop making potential customers feel like they are on the defense to avoid being cheated.
