Later, he handed my purchase off to salesman, Chad Braunbeck, who provided helpful guidance about buying aftermarket wheels and studded snow tires for my new car. My purchase experience couldn't have been better.

    We just purchased a 2015 Subaru Forester 2.5iPremium from Eliphaz Salik at AutoNation Subaru West on Colfax and we had the BEST experience! Eliphaz was very knowledgeable and sold us the car without pressure; they met us at the price we requested based on research from other dealership prices. We absolutely love this vehicle; the CVT technology is amazing and creates a very economic and smooth ride. The gas mileage in the new foresters is incredible, and the comfort of even the more basic models is fantastic! Everyone that has ridden in our car loves it; it has more room in the backseat, making it more SUV like instead of wagon like as it was in the older models. We would highly recommend using this dealership and purchasing this car!

    My experience with AutoNation Subaru West was an extremely positive one. The salesman, Ben Baker, was knowledgeable, personable and a straight-shooter. He never did try to intimidate me into a purchase. The sales process was simple and direct with no need for wheeling and dealing since I came into the dealership with a Consumer Reports / Truecar reasonable quote which they readily accepted.

    I have recently moved from Arvada to Evergreen and needed a good all wheel drive car which would have good MPG and do excellent on the snowy roads in the mountains. I was recommended to AutoNation Subaru West by a friend who purchased a car from them and was very happy with the experience. I have to say it is the first time I work with a car dealership and my business with them was performed in an excellent manner. Eliphaz was very friendly, very knowledgeable picking the right car for my necessities, never pushy in any way, explaining the car details and extras and remarkably conducting the financial process. After 2 and a half hours I left with my first brand new car, my older one traded in and a very reasonable monthly payment loan (a loan Eliphaz helped me be approved for under quite hostile personal circumstances) I am extremely happy with my beautiful 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek. And very grateful to Eliphaz and Autonation Subaru West for enabling this experience to me.

    (This is going to be a long one.) After debating buying a new car for seven years because of tight finances we finally made the decision to commit, and a family member recommended AutoNation Subaru West. We purchased a brand new Subaru Forester through this dealership in July, got a pretty good deal on the price and monthly payments, and thought everything was just fantastic. I even left them a ridiculously positive review with Subaru right after my buying experience. That is until we needed to get our registration paperwork from them for the new vehicle. For some reason our lease paperwork needed to be re-signed by us more than once because of their error, and we had to fight tooth and nail to receive our registration for the car over the span of months resulting in expensive late fees. We called this dealership numerous times, left multiple voicemails to different people in the financing department and our sales rep, and never received a single call back regarding our registration paperwork which we desperately needed. We had to go to the DMV and get our temp tags extended multiple times as much as we were legally allowed to do, while still receiving no calls back for months. Finally after we called the DMV to ask what we could do (since they actually answered our phone calls) the DMV told us that they had received the paperwork at the very last minute of September, although it was now October and we had not received anything in the mail that indicated that our registration was good to go before that month cut off. The dealership could have returned our messages and said "Hey we finally sent out your registration paperwork to the DMV!" By the time we received their little card in the mail that we needed to take to the DMV it was too late and it cost us a lot of money. In my voicemails to their financing department I specifically said that we would be receiving a late fee if they didn't get this taken care of and they would be responsible for that, but we received no reply to that either. We ended up having to pay over $100 in late fees on our already expensive vehicle registration because of this mix up and we are absolutely livid. Did they return any of our calls or offer to compensate us for this disaster? Of course not, they made it clear that after we purchased the vehicle we didn't matter anymore. The sales people are wonderful and treat the customers right, but be warned: Once you actually purchase the car you mean absolutely nothing to this dealership and will get screwed over because of pure negligence. We are telling all of our family and friends to avoid this dealership at all costs unless they too want to go through this very expensive nightmare that we did. I will be posting my stressful experience with them on every review site I can find so that someone else won't have to go through this headache. We love Subaru's but will not be buying through this dealer ever again. (Also a family member and a friend had a similar experience with this dealership involving late registration paperwork, which we only found out about after this whole thing happened.)

    Allen was a great, friendly sales rep and took the pain out of the buying process. He communicated with me via e-mail during my busy work schedule. My visit to Groove Subaru prior to AutoNation West was very disheartening and played right into the stereotypical role of a sales rep trying to take advantage of their prospective client. Allen never raised any doubt in my mind when negotiating. My only drawback was being led to a separate room with the door closed and a different sales rep to offer me extras such as extended warranties. This different rep was fast-talking, over-complimenting, and used terms like "It's only smarter if you do it this way", which shut me off from any offer he was providing, for better or worse. I would have given a more honest consideration if Allen had stayed through the entire process.

    Working with Eliphaz Salik made our shopping experience and buying process simple, straight forward, and down right enjoyable. Providing a great customer experience is something that he takes personally and will do what ever is necessary to ensure that you leave happy whether you buy a car or not. The staff at Autonation West did everything within their power to ensure that our car buying process was as smooth as possible. We will definitely be back to purchase our next vehicle.

    Over 30 years we have had seven Subarus. This summer, we knew we wanted a new Outback but were dreading the car-buying process. Fortunately,far from being a negative experience, Auto Nation West and our sales guide, Allen S., made our Subaru purchase easy and pleasant. Allen was an excellent sales guide low key, knowledgeable, patient, and attuned to our questions and concerns. We signed up for our new 2015 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited in mid-June and picked it up on August 21. Buying a new car should be fun and exciting and everyone we encountered at Auto Nation West seemed to understand that. The new Outback is gorgeous and our buying experience could not have been better. Pros: Great sales guide; good, fair price (no games); nice people

    We purchased a 2015 forester from autonation. Our first contact was on the internet, as we were moving long distance and knew that we would need to buy a car soon after we arrived in colorado. Allen quoted me a price which was less than our local dealership was willing to give us. After arriving to colorado, we walked into autonation, immediately met allen, he remembered our correspondence and gave us the promised deal. We left the dealership that day with a brand new forester, no drama. We love driving our new subaru around colorado! It handles so nicely and will be great for the winter weather conditions here.     Just bought the first 2015 of this model sold by Auto Nation Subaru West. Actually took it from the general manager who had planned to keep it for himself, but let me have it. Salesman was excellent - answered all my questions honestly and let me take car home for my wife to look at. Went out of his way to be helpful. Only negative in my experience was took a long time to complete the buying process, waiting for various different managers to see me. Car is marvelous, and altogether this was a most pleasant experience.

    This is our first Subaru and it will not be our last. We are very pleased with our new Outback. Ted M. did so much to help us find the best vehicle for us. He even picked us up from the airport and drove us to the dealership. Everything about our purchase experience was positive.

    Talked to Dan, a "30+ year Subaru sales veteran" about a 2011 WRX Premium. Dan said there were several WRXs on the lot to test drive, but when I showed up, Dan wasn't around and neither was the fabled WRX. Wes, the "regional Subaru sales leader" tried to strong-arm me into buying the base WRX sitting in their showroom (the one they won't let you drive) or putting a down payment into a WRX Premium sight-unseen. I told them to shove it, and I left. I was ready to buy; all I wanted was a little honesty. I suggest avoiding this place.

    Advertised for a car under the wrong model name on website. I was amazed at the price so called to confirm. They confirmed and so I went down. Wasted hours and left work early. They brought me out to a car that cost 6000 more and played dumb about it.

    Where do I start ? well I purchased a Honda Accord from Subaru West last year at which time I requested a Carfax report. One was provided that said the car was alright. Approximately 8 months later I was going to trade in the Honda for a Ford F150 in Longmont. During the buying process the dealer in Longmont ran a Carfax and the report came back that the car had been wrecked !! I returned to Subaru West and spoke with their sames manager who stated "Yeah I remember that car it, it was a trade in that was wrecked". In contacting Carfax they stated that the car was not reported wrecked by the dealer until after it was sold. Subaru West won't buy the car back and other dealers will only give me $6,000 for a car I paid $10,000 for.

    We visited Go Subaru West based on an add in the paper for a 2008 Subaru Outback X. The add stated specific lease terms and a specific car. When my wife and I visited the sales person informed us that he car was the base model and that we might want to look at other models. We don't mind the base model and said we were here to secure the model in the add. We drove the vehicle and liked it and the sales person. The trouble started once we got to financing. We were trading in another Subaru that we owed less on then KBB trade and we were willing to just trade it in for no profit. We just wanted to role the down payment money into the lease. The finance guy came out to talk to us and tried to down play the trade and talked about trying to get us a deal. By that time we had to go pick up our kids and asked if they would call us on the final price and that we would come in that night and pick up the car. When the finance person called that afternoon the $189 a month lease with $2000 down for 36 months had ballooned to $336 a month for 39 months for that car or $342 for the nicer car. This was before taxes. I asked him how a car I was going to pay $8,804 for had turned into a car I would have to pay $13,10 for three extra months. It seemed a steep interest rate on the down payment money. He said that he hadn't realized that I knew about the newspaper deal, though it was on the table when we talked, and that those adds were to get customers in but he didn't like to sell those cars because they lost money on them. I was floored. He said he would come down to $279 a month with nothing down. I told him I would have to think about it. I called Mike Shaw Subaru that Monday and they gave me the same price on the nicer car. I have had bad experiences with two GO dealerships now. I would STAY away from them at all costs.

    This was my first, and last car dealership experience. This dealership has nothing but absolutely horrible customer service and incompetence. All employees, including the general manager, and especially finance director Mike Saacks are [violative content deleted]. First they scammed me $500(windshield protection and theft insurance) then they held my check for a month (to try and make a deal with their own bank, I assume) then they mailed the paperwork to the wrong address, then they forgot to endorse the check so my bank wouldnt cash it. And yet, through all of their mistakes, they continue to blame me. I am returning the car and would like some of my down payment back though of course, they refuse putting the blame on me. Please dont make the same mistakes I did, STAY FAR FAR AWAY! THE WORST DEALERSHIP IN DENVER!

    The sales team at this dealership really made my recent experience in leasing a 2013 Impreza fantastic! Allen S., Tim F., Timothy A. and Brian M. are great Subaru employees that helped me through the process. They made sure all of my terms were very clear and took the time to answer every question I had; there was no pressure at all. I am very happy with my new purchase and I'm glad I was able to take the time to get exactly the kind of deal I wanted.
