by graham d on 09/07/2018This survey is related to the service department, not Gustavo Rivera. He was very helpful. We had a 30k service performed. Here are the issues: they put 10.5 qts of oil in the car for which we had to have a different company fix because I… couldn’t get my car back in fast enough. Second, we paid for a maintenance package which would have greatly decreased the cost of said service. Stephanie lied to us and said he HAD to pay full price, which we had no other choice. Then gus told me that we should have paid half!!! Seriously? Now this dealership has $350 of mine. So far no one has offered to give that back to my card. They want to add this to the trade in value... meaning I have to buy a car. This should be credited to my card. I’m going to call the GM to see if they will make it right. So far, I was offered a free oil change. Yeah, that’s not worth $350.Graham, we regret your experience with us here, but are glad you brought this to our attention. Missed or covered up emissions issue with CPO vehicle they sold me
by thomash5 on 08/28/2018I purchased a 2015 Subaru Outback Certified Pre-owned Gold Plus Plan vehicle in July from Autonation Subaru at Arapahoe and 2 days/50 miles later the check engine light came on due to an emissions code. I find it highly unlikely that this… issue arose in the 50 miles I drove since I purchased the car. With emissions codes you can actually clear the code and check engine light and the check engine light will not reappear until the car has completed a drive cycle test at which point if it fails it will turn the check engine light on again. I believe the technicians at Autonation Subaru at Arapahoe either missed that the drive cycle test was incomplete when they sold me the car and the code was likely to reappear or they covered up the fact and they knew the code would reappear and just wanted to make a quick sale without fixing the issue. Unfortunately the check engine light came on as I was driving to the airport for a work trip so I could not return the vehicle in time for a refund (and believe me I would now if I could). After reaching out to the sales and service department they have been completely unhelpful in resolving my issue and I have been very disappointed. I scheduled a service appointment with them at 10am last Friday and when I arrived they said they would not be able to even take a look at my car until 2 or 3 pm. What is the purpose of an appointment if they wait 5 hours to even begin looking at your car? I would be happy if they would just have me show up and service my car in a reasonable time frame or at least give me a replacement vehicle until my car can be repaired since they sold me a bad car in the first place that was supposed to pass a certified pre-owned inspection which it did not in my mind. I would recommend buying and servicing your Subaru vehicles elsewhere, this place is not worth the headaches.Thomash, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. My 60,000 mile checkup
by BlackHawkSue on 08/10/2018I have been going to Autonation East on Araphoe since 2003 when I bought my first Subaru. However, after yesterday, I will be having my maintenance done elsewhere. Granted I now live in the mountains and getting to Autonation East is… harder to get to because of all the traffic we have now, but that is not the real reason. After I left my car, I was called and said that I needed new brakes on the front tires plus a few more repairs that were not covered by the . I gave the "go-ahead". Then I received another call later saying the mechanic had taken off the wrong brake pads (the ones on the rear) by mistake and thrown them away. They said they would replace the rear brake pads for free since it was their mistake but I would have to pay for the resurfacing of the rotors which was another $150.00. I feel this was unfair...I did not need to have my rear brakes replaced...it was a mistake made by the mechanic. While Autonation paid for the new brakes, I shouldn't have had to pay for the resurfacing rotors. My bill that started being approximately $850 ended up being $1318.88. While the staff at Autonation was very friendly, I feel I can do just as well at a place on the west side of town. The other things I really did not like was that they disconnected my battery during servicing. I understand that but now all my settings are off...date, time, etc plus my Sirius radio settings. While that might not be such a big deal for young folks to reset all this, it is for me. I am 75 years old and will probably need to go back to the Car Toys for help in resetting the Sirius. After spending 7 hours with my car, would it be too much to ask that they reset the date and time?Very pleased with the process

Tawseef was the perfect sales guide and did not every pressure us regarding a particular vehicle he simply provided us with answers to our questions and the… opportunity to drive each vehicle we were interested in. She is the only reason I'd go back. Her manager and other team members can learn a lot from her skills.… She should be recognized for her work, and service to the customer. She is a wonderful face for the brand and location. I was unhappy with the storage of my vehicle, and the resulting issues from it. Kayla made things right, and fixed the issue the resulted. One tip of advice! Treat the cars of your customers like you would want yours to be treated. We are not an ATM machine. We are hard working people like yourself. Kayla understood this, and is one of the only reason a positive review is happening.Best buying experience

I have to say this was the most relaxed car buying experience i have ever had. Scott listened to our needs and provided guidance… throughout the process. Only when I actually was about to walk away to find a better price at another dealership did they start to work with me. The… financing process was easy, however, and the car that I got (Subaru crosstrek, 2016) is great. The staff was overall friendly and knowledgeable. I would suggest this place to a friend but would caution that they will have to fight to get a reasonable price.We are happy you had a pleasant experience here at AutoNation Subaru Arapahoe. I had never purchased a car from a dealer without my husband with me so I was nervous because I had heard rumors about dealers trying to take advantage… of women buying cars. Not only was Mike (who helped me) helpful, respectful and easy to work with, I ended up getting more from my trade-in and paid less for the Subaru than originally expected. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I had an issue with a tire and found the service department difficult to work with. The purchase, however, was excellent.Awesome service
