The only thing preventing a 5 star was that I paid for "Appearance Protection" which I was told was not optional, after reading the fine… print after purchase it clearly states that it IS optional. by Backout on 12/30/2015We visited this Auto Nation Subaru Arapahoe on Dec. 24 to look for a new car. The sales person was nice and showed us two cars. After a couple rounds of reasonable negotiation, we closed a deal to buy the Outback Premium. At that… moment, it was already 3;30pm, only 30 mins left before closing out. The sales department worked late to finish all the paperwork and cleaned the car. We were able to drive the new car back home on the Xmas eve. Particularly, the sales person and the finance manager stayed late (almost 6pm) to explain all details, showing their professional passion and attitude. Great thanks are owed to them.Thanks! Each time I was greeted with the same courtesy. This high standard of service obviously comes from… the "top" General Manager, Matt Smith. My sales specialist, Don McIntosh was a gentlemen and truly went the extra mile in reviewing my concerns. Overall excellent! Oh yes I love my new Outback..I'm trading my new Cadillac for a Subura..Thank you for your kind words! We always strive to provide personable and excellent customer service. I had sent my girlfriend in the week before to scout out a car for us. Really I did this because she… drives me nuts when I go shopping with her. Long story short Movin was able to deal with all her odd overly obsessed questions and still make her feel happy well taken care off. They had the nerve to tell me they are the only dealer in the state of Colorado that carries Ford Rangers. Our sales person was Alice Hausig and she was awesome! Alice's communication with us throughout… the process was excellent and she went out of her way to make our buying experience a great one. Scott in the finance department was great to work with as well. This is our third Outback purchase from AutoNation and it won't be our last. Then Jeff L. introduced us to James A. who took us on a test drive and… explained all the car features. James is extremely knowledgable about Subaru vehicles and the whole car buying process. by cruiserguy1 on 01/30/2015I decided on the vehicle I wanted, a used FJ Cruiser. After looking online for the exact match including color, year etc. I found it at AutoNation Subaru in Centennial, CO. I sent an email and shortly thereafter a salesman called me.… Without seeing the vehicle in person, only photos and the write-up I negotiated a price, and after he consulted the sales manager, we agreed upon the price. I told him I would be there in the morning as it's a two hour drive from my location. Upon arriving and test driving the Cruiser I was ready to do the deal, however, it was about $1000 more than what we had negotiated. How did that happen? Well apparently they forgot about a couple of things and decided to tack them on. I refused the deal as that is not what we agreed upon. After several trips for my salesman to the sales manager they acquiesced and gave me what I wanted. Here comes the good part, I had to then talk to the finance guy. What a piece of work he is! First he tried to sell me every add on that one could imagine. I refused them all and he was visibly upset. Secondly he had an arrogance about him that he was superior to everyone and he didn't like it that I came in there with very low financing from USAA. How dare me for not taking their 10% + financing! Lastly, he jacked up the paperwork for my title and registration. Being in the military I have all of my vehicles registered in Texas and he just couldn't understand the concept that I live in one state and have my cars registered in another. (Since he's from the Ukraine I guess he just doesn't get the American way of life). Today in the mail I received all the paperwork from the dealership for my title and registration after the finance guy had told me they would send it straight to Texas and get my plates issued. It's been thirty days since I purchased the vehicle and now I'm in a time crunch to get it registered! Wow! Total incompetence! Will I purchase from them again? Absolutely not! As an Air Force officer I'll also recommend to my troops to steer clear of AutoNation.
