    Randy and Tyler made my experience as simple as possible. They were upfront, no surprises, and they got all the paperwork done before I came in. This was the fastest purchase I made in my last 25 years in the US. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Randy was no BS sales guy; he knows his customers, and he gave me a number that I did not have to bargain with and that I did not waste his or my time. I did recommend him to a number of my friends.

  • Best Vehicle Purchase Ever

    I was met by a wonderful, knowledgeable sales staff member, George Deleon. We discussed what I was looking for and immediately came up with several great options. I did not purchase on my first visit with George, but he continued to update me on other options via text and email. when I finally returned, I would only purchase the vehicle from George as he really takes care of any questions or concerns, someone may have when purchasing a vehicle at the price. Between Georg and his team they gave me a great deal on my trade-in and the pricing of the vehicle that I had decided on for purchasing. I can honestly say, buying a new vehicle is never easy, but George and the staff @ Simpson Chevrolet of Irvine are a great group of people. The vehicle I traded in was purchased from Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove as the Irvine branch did not exist back in 2010. I was happy with Simpson on my last purchase, so I new the only dealer I would make my new purchase was going to be the same. So glad the Irvine branch opened, as it is close to home. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who asks. A very painless and happy transaction. I told George I kept his contact info in my phone so we can keep in touch. It is like gaining new friend's.

  • Simpson failed and overcharged everywhere

    This was the review I sent back to them when they asked “how’d we do?” You did Horrible. I brought my van in for service and Antonio had noted that it was a $264 fee to diagnose the problem. I am new to owning a diesel, and asked about regen and such. He even noted that if it was just a regen service that was needed, that it would likely just be the $264 charge. Being a Service Advisor, I am sure he knew that the van didn't need a regen service, especially on a 5 year old vehicle that has 216k miles, so any soot was being burned off on the regular. Anyway, I signed all the paperwork to get the van brought in and go on my way. When signing the papers, I didn't realize Antonio had upped the diagnostics fee to $530, but from how the rest of how things went, I am realizing that is just how you operate. Antonio also noted that if I went with you for the repairs, that the fee would be applied towards the repair labor. OK, so I got a text from Antonio that an injector wasn't performing correctly. The text noted it would be $1,189.00, they'd change out the injector, perform a regen (no they didn't and it wasn't needed anyway), do this, that and the other. I approve the order. Your tech disconnects the electrical connector, loosens the 2 bolts that hold the injector power plug to its mount, unscrews the injector from the exhaust system and then repeats the process to install the new one. Then the vehicle is started, it runs and no error code. It was not taken on a road test (GPS and mileage on vehicle confirmed it), it was not given a "28 point inspection" and the air pressure wasn't checked on the tires that your dealership felt I needed an 8 page invoice just to show that you were required to check air pressure by the CARB. To add insult to injury, I had low air in my tires, my dashboard was showing that error message as soon as you'd turn on the ignition, but even that wasn't enough for your dealership to do what they were actually required by law to check. As if that wasn't bad enough, when I picked up the van, I saw that the tires were never filled up, so I pulled it back to the service bay for this simple task to be completed. What did they do at that point? They filled up the rear 2, but the front 2 (the ones that were really low at 56 instead of 80) weren't touched. Lastly, I won't get into the fact that your parts are at "rack rate" 75% higher than what they are from Any GM AC Delco dealer online (not aftermarket), but that I was sold my parts at an even higher rate that I could walk into your dealership and buy them over the counter ($355.54 vs. the $391.09 I paid). I can say this, you were very thorough in making sure that you didn't miss one opportunity to gouge me, charge for services not performed, ignore the dashboard warning lights for you to do a service that you are Legally required to perform, not perform said service when I drive the car back to service for them to be taken care of, BS me that my van would even need a regen service, still tell me that service was going to be performed, gouge me on parts and absolutely gouge me on the labor as well. So please explain to me what elevated level or service that I am receiving by going to your dealership? Please explain your labor rates and how you come up with $768 for less than one hour of work. Please explain why I was charged over retail for my parts. Please explain all that I addressed above.

  • 2018 5 year scheduled maintenance Chevy Volt

    I have a 2018 Chevy Volt, it had scheduled maintenance to be performed, both cooling systems, for the batteries and the gasoline engine, and the brake fluid flushed, this is the recommended service after 5years, on top of that I had an oil change and tires rotated, Thanks for the excellent service, Good job to the Service Team at Simpson Chevrolet!!

    I made the last appointment of the day on Saturday (i live ~40 miles from Simpson Chevy) and intended on waiting for it. Even though it was only an oil change, I knew it would be a few hours due to the time. The service adviser, Scott Anderson, under-promised and over-delivered. He told me that it would likely take 2+ hours, so my family and I walked over to the local Starbucks and then casually walked back about 30 mins later. As we were stepping into the lounge, he was rounding the corner with our freshly washed Tahoe. This is the kind of excellent service that keeps customers coming back. On the way to Simpson Chevrolet, I pass 3 MAJOR Chevrolet dealers - and I will continue doing so when the opportunity arises. Scott has earned all of our future GM business. Click to Copy

    Took my Stingray in for its 500 mile oil change. No problem with the oil change, but Simpson should know that Corvette owners are very particular. We want the seats and mats covered and we want them to take good care of our vehicle. When they washed my car, they left swirls and marks on paint of the left fender. It took me over an hour of paint correction to get the fender looking like it did before they busted the dust off my car. I'll give them a second chance, but next time , no car wash.

    I am a repeat customer at Simpson Chevrolet. I scheduled a service appointment for my GMC Terrain to have a new starter and battery installed. My service advisor sat down with me at the appointed time to discuss my service request and answer my questions. He made some additional service recommendations, which I felt were both timely and appropriate. After signing the work order, he said my vehicle would be ready by noon. I sat in the comfortable customer lobby and used my laptop computer at one of their workstations. At 10:30 AM my service advisor came inside to inform me that my vehicle service was complete. I was quite impressed (as I have been with my previous service visits) that my vehicle was ready earlier than expected. My vehicle was washed and waiting for me just outside the customer lobby. I feel fortunate to have found a dealership that has a high level of integrity and technical expertise, allowing me to feel confident that my vehicle service will be performed correctly and competently. I have no doubt that I will return again to Simpson Chevrolet for my next service appointment.
