The first time we walked in, the kind and friendly manager immediately greeted us with a smile and offered to find a salesman who could help us. The… salesman J.R., who was outgoing and exceptional with his service, made it possible to show us the vehicle we had requested to see. After viewing and test driving the vehicle a few days later, we decided to purchase the car. J.R. and his team made it a priority to repair a few things to it before driving away with the 2017 VW Jetta, and definitely went above and beyond to ensure the car was in almost perfect condition. In addition, the actual finance part of the process also went very smooth, thanks to the friendly gentleman who made sure all our paperwork was is perfect order and everything was checked. A big thank you to the team for a great experience! Scratch

Service, what happened?
by Greg446 on 07/25/2023I have no complaint about the service advisor, he did his best. Came in for a recall update and fluid service. Said it would be ready couple of hours. Came back in 3.5 and told ready to go. Waited and came back to tell me nothing done. Long… story short, did the recall update nothing else. I guess, no communication was the biggest issue I had. But am generally not confident things get done correctly.Hi, we regret your experience with us here, but are glad you brought this to our attention. by INotReturnin on 07/03/2023Here is my most honest review that I can give. But in summary, I will never ever return to your Doge/Jeep/Fiat dealership tried. I really tried to schedule my car to be serviced via the online service scheduler. After several minutes… searching for it, I found it at the very bottom of a very long web page. After submitting my information, it made the appointment at the BMW of Encinitas. But since it was being moved to Carlsbad and my car is a Dodge. My appointment was cancelled. After many tries, I give up and called your service phone number, but nobody answered after letting ring on and on and on and on and on, finally going to voicemail. I took a day off work to go the service department at the Dodge dealership in Carlsbad. But they did not have a part and could not service my car that day. I made an appointment for the next week. After leaving the dealership, the service manager called me and told me that I had to return and pre-pay for a $70 filter that they did not have. The cashier and the service manager argued about needing some approval for the part and I waited until the service manager finally returned with a new form and I paid for the part. I took off yet another day of work and I arrived a half hour before my appointment. There is not line for the appointment so I had to get into one of the two lanes. I told one of the service people that I had an appointment and he informed one of the service managers. The car in from of me needed to leave and I backed out a little so he could get his car out of line. Two other cars in the other lane cut in front of me. Nobody did anything about it and I have to wait a full hour before a service manager re-took my information. My service should have only taken two hours to perform, but my car was not done after five and a half hours after my arrival at the service center. There were only two out of five service managers that day and they were very very busy. The service manager forgot that I had already pre-paid for the filter last week and after reminding him of it several times, I finally paid over $500 dollars bring the total cost of the service to over $600.00. The next time my Dodge car needs dealer service, I will be driven past Carlsbad to go over 50 miles to San Diego or some other city that does not have an AutoNation Dodge dealership.Hi, we are deeply disappointed by your experience at AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM and FIAT Carlsbad. coolant bypass and dead battery
