Scheduling system needs work and customer communication

Along with that, it was difficult to verify which location the vehicle appointment was supposed to be. Once the appointment was finally confirmed, it was… hard to talk to anyone at the location. It appears the scheduling and customer communication numbers are significantly understaffed.Hi, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. So calling the number for the General Manager above gets me to the phone menu tree. When I select "1" for service, it loops back to the original menu tree over and over again. It's time consuming and absolutely ineffective at getting anything done other than spending time on the phone. And the online scheduling does not specify which location the vehicle needs to be taken to, and obviously does not allow any discussion over the phone to narrow down trouble shooting options before the vehicle is delivered for service.
Best car buying experience ever!

I have had my share of four-square closes, T.O. men, and hard-ball sales managers. Then, even when I've… bought the vehicle, the finance man has tried to shove add-ons down my throat. None of this happened at the AutoNation Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat dealership in Carlsbad. After speaking to a salesperson, Antonio, over the phone, I made an appointment to see the Wrangler I was interested in. Antonio was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. After looking at the Jeep I had seen online, I realized it wasn't a good fit for me. Antonio took my wife and me to a secondary storage lot where their overflow inventory sat. There we found the perfect vehicle for me. I decided to lease it. After some minor negotiation, Antonio wrote the deal up while my wife and I went to lunch. When we came back, the car had been cleaned and prepped for delivery. The finance man, Trevor, offered the add-ons but did it without pressure. I chose one. Before I left, the sales manager, Rick, came out to shake my hand and offered me his card, telling me that if I ever needed anything, not to hesitate giving him a call. 30,000 Service for 2020 Jeep Wrangler
by ScottSe on 11/23/2023I went in for a service and was quoted $2500 to do 30,000 service. Insane price! This did not include the free oil change and tire rotation I pre-paid for when I leased my Jeep. I asked the serviceman to do the bare minimum and push out… what could be pushed out. I realized he charged me the same after I left ($2500). 40min later, I texted him to pause everything. Then he said I didn't need a $400 tray. Asked to talk with the manager, they continued to finish the work (even though I had asked them to stop). They said sorry, but the system recommended these items even though the manual and manufacturer didn't. I feel like I was scammed. Prepare for mediocre-poor service after the sale
by BjjCowboy on 11/20/2023Found the Vehicle I wanted (2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X) at Autonation Jeep Carlsbad. The price was good, not great. Tried to negotiate a little and they would not budge at all (not even $200). I really wanted the jeep so I decided to… buy it anyway. From Thousand Oaks I traveled 3hrs to Carlsbad to buy the Jeep. The buying process was fairly painless. There were two issues I found while inspecting it that I had them promise to fix and write up on a due bill. They told me that I could have the work done at their sister store in Valencia (closer to my house). While doing the final paperwork the manager comes to me explaining that they under priced the Jeep and they weren't making any money on it so the only thing they would take care of is the agreed upon items on the due bill. Drove the jeep home and then called Autonation Jeep Valencia to schedule my due bill items. They informed me they couldn't get me in for 3 months. I contacted my sales person and explained, they said they would see if their manager could get them to get me in sooner. Days went by with no response, sent messages and emails with no response, finally they called back and said to contact the service manager in Valencia. Called Valencia and set up a drop off time. Since I live in Thousand Oaks I asked about a rental, loaner or shuttle to get me home and they said they don't cover anything, I would have to speake to the people at Carlsbad. Once again contacted my sales person who mentioned that Autonation has a Lyft account and they should be able to get me back home. He said he would speake to his managaler and get back to me. Didn't hear back so about 3 days later I messaged him asking about it. He said he spoke to his manager and he said they wouldn't cover anything and I was on my own to get back home. This is honestly the worst service I've ever experienced, especially after spending $32,000. I would absolutely NOT recommend Autonation Carlsbad or Valencia for anything.Hi, it is discouraging to learn of your experience with us. Oil change and tire rotation was done in 90 minutes. Horrible experience

Spent 2 hrs at dealership waiting on service - this was with going to work while work was performed. “Almost done, 15 minutes”… more, etc isn’t acceptable after being an hour past deadline. My Jeep Had Grease All Over the Doors
