  • Amazing Customer Service

5 out of 5 starsby Dfritts on 02/26/2016

I purchased a car at Midway Nissan last night, after visiting multiple dealerships throughout the valley looking for a used car. I ended up leaving Midway with a brand new Nissan, paying less than I would have for a used car. Scott Sullivan worked with me. He was amazing, he had an answer to every question without hesitation and went above and beyond to get me exactly what i wanted. He was very friendly and funny during the entire process. When it was time to finalize the deal, I met with Rita Sommer. She was also amazing, very nice, personable and easy to work with. Overall, the customer service here was very surprising, better than I have experienced at a car dealership to date.
    • We appreciate your positive feedback, Debbie! It makes us proud knowing that Scott was able to get you into a great vehicle. We are thankful for your business. Thank you for choosing Midway Nissan!

  • Over all good

    3 out of 5 starsby ken03132001 on 02/19/2016

I needed a new car and my credit wasn’t the greatest so after hearing a radio commercial for guaranteed financing at Midway Nissan I filled out the online application. The sales team was very friendly and made me feel at home and I would like to thank Justin Strohl and Scott Sullivan most of all for making me feel like more than a source of income for Nissan. That being said, I did however feel like the finance department was playing number games with me. I felt pressured to buy a service contract and was told that they could get me a better interest rate on my loan to help offset the cost of it….I found it strange that they couldn’t get me a lower interest rate to help bring down my payment, but they could do it to sell me a service contract. The finance department even brought in a manager to help talk me into buying the contract when I refused it. Maybe I should have had a double team defense… I was hoping to end up with payments closer to what I was paying on my previous auto loan and feel like finance could have made that happen if in fact my happiness was their first concern. So, all 3 stars are directly attributed to the excellent service I got from Scott and Justin. Thanks again guys!

  • great dealership with great customer service

    5 out of 5 starsby tonytone1 on 01/20/2016

i first moved out to arizona about a year and a half ago. being that it was summer time and had no car i was desperate for a vehicle so decided to go to sands chevrolet which was located near my work in glendale. they seen that i was desperate for a vehicle and took advantage of that right away. sold me a car with a cracked windsheild at a really high price, the customer service was lousy, long story short i ended up with a vehicle that was not worth what they sold it to me for. having bad credit its been hard for me to get rid of this car for a while. everywhere i would nobody wanted to help. i even had the manager at liberty gmc tell me open a new loan just to sell a car not caring about the situation id be stuck in. after that i accepted it and didnt try anymore. i ended up getting in touch with erica nodine who works there. she told me they'd take care of me so i decided to give it a shot. my salesman was scott sullivan, he kept it 100% with me and told me what i would have to do to get out of the vehicle i was in. he was friendly, honest, and didnt make me feel like he was just trying to make a sale. in short i ended up leaving midway nissan in a brand new vehicle without the garbage sands sold me. what alot of dealers were not able to do for me scott did. so i highly recommend him to anyone thats had bad experiences somwhere else. thanks again scott

  • Excellent Experience

    5 out of 5 starsby barbara_h1 on 01/09/2016

I walked into Midway Nissan not knowing what I really wanted in a car. I was introduced to Scott Sullivan who immediately assured me that he was going to make sure I got the best car at the price I could afford. I had purchased a vehicle at Midway Nissan a year earlier but my situation had changed and I was looking for something a little different than what I was driving. I thought I wanted a Juke but as Scott and I talked about my short as well as long term goals he suggested I look at taking one step up from my Versa to a Sentra. I have never had a salesman take such an honest caring approach in dealing with me on a car or any other large purchase. No question was too insignificant and he actually encouraged me to ask a lot of questions. After I bought my Sentra I asked Scott for several of his business cards to give to friends who may be interested in a new car. I would recommend Midway Nissan and Scott Sullivan to anyone looking for honesty, integrity and a good purchase experience. I also want to say I greatly appreciate Joe in finance who worked extra hard in getting me an awesome interest rate with Nissan Financial. Love my new car and my new friend Scott at Midway Nissan!!!
    • Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your visit, Barbara! At Midway Nissan it is our goal to provide all of our customers with great service, so we are happy to hear that is exactly what you received from Scott! We truly appreciate your business. Thank you for choosing Midway Nissan!

  • True to their word & no games. Need I say more? Hector rocks!

5 out of 5 starsby nkiflemar on 12/05/2015

I had been at 3 other dealers in the Phoenix area and this dealer was the first one that beat the price they said they would on the phone. Others had all those "hidden" fees and low trade values, etc. 3rd Nissan Rogue now and while I love the vehicle, I would have gone elsewhere with another brand until I met Hector and Mossy at Midway Nissan!
    • Hello and thanks for taking the time to share your review! We are glad you enjoyed working with our team and hope you are enjoying your new Rogue!

  • Dedicated, Personable, Informative!

4 out of 5 starsby natebri on 11/30/2015

Anthony (Tony) Sanders made our car buying experience fun! Made sure to find out exactly what we were looking for and showed us options that matched both of our needs. He even got our 13 year old involved in the process and occupied her while we decided. Everyone at Midway was very welcoming but Tony went above what we ever would have expected from a salesman. Thanks Midway! We love our Pathfinder!
    • Hello and thanks for sharing! We are glad you enjoyed working with Tony. Enjoy your Pathfinder!

  • first time buyer

    5 out of 5 starsby Lilly_05 on 11/12/2015

Very well experience on buying my first new car. Went into the dealership not knowing what i was getting into. but than i met Scott Sullivan and he walked us thru the whole buying process. Gave us the deal straight forward and didn't hid any fees from us. He stayed with us until the deal was final. I have never delt with anyone that would really take care of their customers and go above and beyond.
    • Lilly, thanks for taking the time to post a review. We are glad to hear you enjoyed working with Scott and we hope you are enjoying your new car!

  • nothing but bad dealerships

    5 out of 5 starsby 15nissanversa on 11/03/2015

well no this is not another review about someone that is not happy with a dealership im actually really happy with this place. i was raised in the old ways where a hand shake means alot and people dont beat around the bush. this place went out there way to make sure we got into a car which by the way i wanted a used one but a new one would cost me the same down payment and monthly so the sale person matthew made sure that happen. maybe we should all just be more patient and complain less about lil things and good things like this will happen to you and yes i have brought plenty of friends and family and a few have purchase since then and the others are just saving up and working on there credit score and yes they work with bad credit score but my friends score are under the 400 so dont give up give it a try and go in there you may get lucky like me and drive off in a 2015
    • Hello, thanks for the feedback and for choosing Midway Nissan!

Purchased my new 2015 Xterra from Scott Sullivan, not the typical car shopping experience. No games, no hoops. Will be buying my next car from Midway Nissan too.
    • Hello! We are happy to hear you had a smooth and enjoyable buying experience! Enjoy your Xterra!

  • Exceptional Experience

    5 out of 5 starsby Arizona68 on 09/12/2015

This is the first time in 8 years that I have been to a dealership since my last vehicle purchase. It's much like I remember, but it's always the people that make the difference. Scott Sullivan made every effort to be sure the experience I had was exceptional, and it was. Julio Flores in Financing made that portion as seamless as it was for Scott to negotiate the price. I am very happy with my purchase and the experience I had at Midway Nissan and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.
  • I had a good experience

  • Worst sales experience completely lied

    1 out of 5 starsby marcc12 on 07/17/2015

Probably the worst experience I have ever experienced at a dealership. I was driving to work at 6 am and heard an ad on the radio in regards to a multiple 2014 Nissan altimas available for 11,500. I emailed first thing in the morning and received a response. We communicated back and forth and I asked for photos and the internet sales guy Jose stated they had them but they were in the back. Ok I proceeded to take off early and go down there to see them. I got there and I asked where the ones for 11,500 were and they said they were in the back and we would work a comparable deal on a car. They came back to be with a price of 16,500. To my surprise I was like where is the car for 11,500 and they said it was gone. Well I received a call from a manager at 12 noon to set up a time to look at my car. I rushed in because I did not want to miss out. Obviously they did not hold up their end of the bargain and then some other manager came out and tried to justify the 5,000 increase in a reconditioning fee. What a joke. When you make a mistake you should be forced to own it and dealer a product that you advertised and had someone come down and take a look at. This place bragged about being the top dealer in AZ and maybe the bait and switch works on some, but not on me.
  • Wonderful Experience!

    5 out of 5 starsby superman_az on 04/22/2015

While opinions will always vary, mine is no different. I have been the guy who had a low credit score, who was a high risk, and who had to spend it all just to get into a pre-owned vehicle to fix my credit. My most recent experience was not that case. My experience differed when I went from looking for a Frontier to owning a new X-Terra. I arrived at 3pm, as scheduled, and met the internet sales guy Jose for about 8 seconds before handing me to Joe Boggs, my sales rep. Joe and I spent some time chatting about my current trade, the payoff, discussed the inspection, and then headed out to check the lot. I knew I wanted out of a car and into a truck. Who knew it would be an SUV? Now, the first thing to know about going to a dealership is arrive when they first open, otherwise you are there as they are locking up. Buying a car is no longer a 90 minute process. It hasn't been for at least 10 years. If you are going to a dealership, plan for a 6 hour adventure, and finish your meal as you are pulling up. In & Out was my last meal in my old car. As for Midway Nissan in particular, Joe Boggs was outstanding. He showed me all around the lot, TWICE at my request as we were looking for the perfect ride. Started in a Frontier 4x4, and ended in an X-Terra, test drove both. Once Joe and I had it all figured out, the dance began. I was at the low end, Rita Sommer at the other end. After about 15 minutes of honest and casual conversation in the leather chairs of the lounge area, we hit an agreed price and down payment. That was all the quick stuff. Now comes the wait. After two episodes of Chopped on the TV in their lounge area, Pat Fairley was ready for me. After reviewing all of the additional packages and pricing, and declining on all counts, Pat was still looking for a way to get the final payment lower to build in the gap insurance to keep me at the arranged price. My budget was extremely important to me, and he understood that. Never before has a service been willing to adjust their costs to afford me an extra service. When it was all said and done, at 9:03pm. the last of my items were moved from the old car to the new, and Joe even stuck around, at this point 3 hours after his shift had already ended, and even climbed into the SUV with me to go over a few features, inspect for any possible issues that the Service dept might have to address, and connected my cell phone to the Blue-tooth connection in the car. Now, I can make and receive calls without ever taking my eyes off the road. Press a button on the steering wheel and speak like normal. While most Dealership visits are seldom fun, and often keep us up way past our usual bed time, every once in awhile, you find a group of people who want to help you accomplish your goal in getting out of the old car, and into the new one. Joe Boggs, Rita Sommer, and Pat Fairley did more than any other dealership team I have ever experienced. I was offered something to eat, provided with a cold bottled water before my current one was empty, allowed to relax in the lounge and watch TV while they did all the hard stuff. I would absolutely recommend Midway Nissan (which is exactly 53 miles from my home in Maricopa) to ANYONE who has decent credit (above 625), a small down payment, and the time to spend with a group of people who are not just serious about sales, but serious about people too. Call today and ask for Joe Boggs. He works 6 days a week and was an absolute pleasure to do business with.
  • Bought nissan sentra costing upto $28000

    1 out of 5 starsby umeshjoshi62 on 04/01/2015

I checked inventory for Nissan vehicles on http://www.midwaynissan.com, I found Nissan Sentra SV at 14195 and estimated payment 209 per month. spot delivery fraud, they have Misleading pricing. Quoted new Nissan with all possible incentives and discounts subtracted from price, then added them back.I am a victim of when I walked in to dealership on 03/26/2015, They added extra stuff (Skyline tracking, nitrogen warranty, tint warranty, Exterior ZekTek + warranty etc. etc. ) costing up to $3300 and upon asking to remove those items they said it was already added on the car and cannot be taken out. They also added around $1300 for documentation fees, which is very high. Finance director in the dealer ship then told me that they would offer 9.89 % interest rate since I am first time buyer and I have got car at discounted price. I asked for 0% finance from Nissan which was advertised on the site , they said that I would get 0 % finance only if I have bought vehicle from Nissan in past and if I bought car at inventory price which is $19495 + tax + doc fees. Finance director told me about Extended warranty from MPP (48000 miles and 4 years) and it will cost only $27 per month, So I have to pay $417 monthly payment and he can get up to 4.59 % interest rate instead of 9.89% for me if I bought following warranty’s and actual cost of extra items and warranty was hidden from me. Optional Gap Contract 895 Service Contract 2430 EPDR 599 Maintainance Agreement 477 Tire Protection 599 Total 5000 I was tricked to buy extra stuff and extended warrant all costing $5000 in lieu of getting lower interest rate. And they put base price for the car as $19696 , Whereas I should have go $5300 discount as per http://www.midwaynissan.com ad posting which was $14195. Next day (03/27/2015) I asked Finance director to cancel all extra options and warranty, but he told he cannot since he has sent document to other office (probably to Nissan office). He also told that he is not having time for me and I should come on coming Monday (03/30/2015) I also noticed that Nissan Sentra SV car I bought is making loud noise and vibration about 3000 RPM. And window glass makes noise when I open or close it. I am looking forward to get issues resolved ASAP.

My situation was a challenging one. I had put in a request online to see if it was something that could even be dealt with. Romina (possibly misspelled) called me back and said it was possible they could help me with because of the rebates going on right now. She said she would have her best guys work it. When I got there I was told I would work with Scott Sullivan and Matt Petrosky. These guys worked some serious magic, my dream situation was not possible for even a wizard to fix. Their hard work and diligence was amazing. I was there for 6 hours to try and get this taken care and let happy. Neither of these guys generally do sales stuff but if you have a difficult situation please tell them Holly sent you! You will be in the best hands possible, I promise.
  • Wrong place to buy new car

    1 out of 5 starsby rahul11 on 01/18/2015

I had an appointment done with Midway Nissan on 01/17/2015....with all my requirements specific that , I want new 2015 Nissan Versa S Automatic...and i was called in to the store with an appointment with a price fixed and committed 9975+taxes. after i went into the store at set appointment time....they kept wandering me in the yard for about an hour looking for the car for which they had committed to. Then after they told me that it had a minor accident and we have sent the car to body shop for repair...and will give you as brand new...i demanded to see the car before i buy it. they told me , we do not have the one available until three days 'we have other cars exactly specific to what you demanded but their price is 4k higher and we cannot sell those at a lower price..." and we have lowered the price of the car because it is damaged for which you had taken appointment ...also eventually we cannot show you...since the car is in body shop I argued with the sales person that why did they call in people to check cars to buy if they don't have the car ready to show after given confirmed appointment to sell the car. Also was not informed before ,that the discounted price is for some limited stock damaged cars, i was told that the cars are brand new and was not mentioned that the cars are damaged and under repair. I demanded to speak to manager, and the manager arrogantly denied the fact that sales person giving appointment are not responsible to check the car to be available in the store to show, also to inform about the refurbished condition of the car. Please go through these reviews before going and wasting time and effort in Midway Nissan.
