  • Horrible experience

    Just a terrible buying experience. The unprofessional service goes all the way to the general manager. From forgotten documents to unreturned calls, the only thing I felt this dealership cared about was taking my money. Ruined the buying experience for me and my family. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

    The process of buying a car takes WAY too long at any dealer, almost worse than renting a car. This dealer worked diligently to resolve any problems as they came up. More importantly, they were not as aggressive at upselling as so often happens in buying a car.

  • Service Recall

    I called to get my Honda CRV in for a seatbelt recall and scheduler did not know that my car needed to be kept overnight. So I did not know until I arrived at the dealer that I would have to leave it. So I had no plans to be picked up. They did offer a shuttle which after waiting an hour still did not return from the last drive so I took an Uber home. The service clerk was not available the next day and after calling several times, speaking to several people, I just decided to show up. My car was not done, and I waited another hour until it was done. I realize everyone is understaffed, but good communication would have helped. My vehicle it’s good. It was the experience at the dealer that warranted three stars.

    I pre-priced the cost of a replacement battery that I communicated to the service advisor. He was courteous and offered a shuttle ride as there was a two-hour backlog. When advising the final battery replacement cost he alerted me to a $13 battery terminal fee that I was not quoted prior to performance of the work. That cost was dropped resulting in a $207 cost for battery replacement. My wife drove me to the dealership although a shuttle service was offered.

    The sales people were great and the service department's excellent except I bought my car and they had to change all the fuel injectors 3 days later I'm afraid to open my trunk case it won't close and if you buy a car make sure it's in the summer because the air conditioner sucks. And I guess it was still worth $27,000

    We are extremely happy with the 24K mile service performed on our CRV by AutoNation Honda in Chandler. The service advisor Brandon was very professional and courteous.     Bought the car from out of state which can be nerve-wracking but when I flew in things went well with a test drive, no surprise about what I would be paying (which had already been agreed) and they helped me with additional questions when they called a day later to check in. They were not condescending but respectful and thorough in their knowledge. One minor complaint would be the length of time I had to wait to take delivery of the car. It was three hours to get it all done, although that included a 20 minute test drive. The experience was five star with an important part of that due to the ample inventory they had compared to other dealers I had shopped.

    21000 miles. Oil change, tire rotation, etc. No problems identified. Ashton (service representative) walked me through the paperwork, answered my questions about low battery for the key, and inspected the WAY TOO SHORT lock cable for the backseat seat belts. He determined that the inability to easily lock those belts is bec of use of backseat bench cover. The problem was not solved but he did give it a good inspection. This is a manufacturing unresolved issue. Shortsighted on their part. But otherwise Ashton was polite, informative and very helpful. He is an excellent Honda representative.
