  • Car has electrical issues, has been in shop after 5 hours of drive time.

    I live in New Orleans, My vehicle was stolen and we found a replacement vehicle at this dealership. We test drove the vehicle and bought it out right for $10,000. After we arrived home in New Orleans the car wouldn't start so we had it towed to the mechanic. Who could not find a replacement fuse panel, as we were waiting for a used part to come in it took weeks. After the vehicle was fixed, I drove it for another week when it lost power in the middle of the road. I was able to turn it back on and drive it back to mechanic where it is today. I need help, It has been over 30 days I have spoke with Nelson Bryant who is the manager at the dealership but I have not been able to communicate with him in the last two weeks despite sending emails and calling daily. I gave you guys all my money, I bought this car from a respected dealership so I could avoid this problem. Now I cannot get anyone on the phone to help me. What kind of organization this size doesn't have a manger on duty for weeks at a time? If my kids miss the bus, I have no way to get them to school, this has made going to work a long and timely commute via public transportation or costly ubers, I have no more funds to put towards this I need help from this organization that sold me this vehicle to pay for specialist to fix this electrical issue or let me trade in this vehicle for something that works. But most of all I need to stop being transferred to voicemails of people who are not at work. I expect someone to reach out to me to help me, as is your duty as an organization to your customer.   • Transmission issues

    My vehicle sat at the dealership for 4 months with hardly any communication between the service department and myself. I had to always call them and they barely answered the phone or even returned my calls. I finally picked my vehicle up with no work done to it at all and I had to purchase a new battery for it because it sat so long. The problem was never solved, so now I have to find another place to do the work.

    As far as the repair itself, I have no complaints. Everything seems to be working great now. But as a business owner for 23 years, I am particular about communication. I understand delays happen and have no issue with the delay on my van. But there was zero communication to me about any delay. At one point I really felt as if I was rushed off the phone. I only found out about a delay in a part when I called in after two days of being told me vehicle would be ready. Again the repair was great but the communication along the process for me was poor.

    I had a warning light come on indicating a possible problem with my F-150s transmission. I did not have a scheduled service appt but they were able to get my truck in diagnose the problem and fix it in a very timely manner. I plan on bringing my truck back to them now for all routine services. I would highly recommend them.

  • Poor Customer Service

    I scheduled my appointment for a recalled item as well as a service issue I was experiencing a month and a half in advance and waited patently for my allotted time. When I arrived, I was asked if I was dropping my vehicle off or waiting. I said waiting as it is my only vehicle and I needed my car. They said they could complete my recall but not the service issue. That would take 4-5 days to diagnose. I asked why since I had scheduled an appointment would it take that long for a brake light and leak in my back window. They said I had 70 people ahead of me. I said why would they schedule someone with 70 people ahead of them? He said “I’m just advising you. We can do the recall while you wait”. I said I need the leak fixed and I’ve waited a month and an already. I asked why wouldn’t they advise a customer at scheduling of this. He had nothing to say. I asked what options I had to get this fixed while I waited. He said I could take it somewhere else. I said it’s a factory issue, I need a dealership. He said there’s another across town but the wait will be longer. I advised him of my shock that customer service has gotten so poor everywhere as his coworkers only looked up from their computer screens in disgust. No manager came over to de escalate the situation. I’ve worked in management and customer service my entire life. This situation could have been handled so much better. I waited for my recall to be done two hours as other customers came in after me and left before me for service issues ranging from oil leaks to transmission. Obviously they were not dropping off for 4-5 days for their diagnostic work and had more complicated issues. I also listened to the techs on the phone with customers and their whole demeanor was surly and uncaring. No manager even came out to apologize or address my concerns. I bought my Ford in another town and believe me I am extremely hesitant to ever buy another in this town because of my experience and the fact even having a factory recall serviced is practically impossible in this town. This dealerships service department will definitely keep me from using them in the future or recommending them. And after reading the reviews already I see it’s a known problem. But like I said. It’s across the board with Ford dealerships in this area. Not the case elsewhere or I would not own mine which I love.

    Customer service needs a lot of improvement. i was NOT kept informed of the progress or non-progress of my vehicle repairs, which seemed minor to me. My vehicle stayed at Auto Nation for a month even my vehicle insurance, Allstate, became frustrated with them!
