Corvette suspension repair
by 03/07/2024
onC6 Corvette. Rear suspension issue (noise, grinding at low speed turns). Jacob Thorp, service advisor, diagnosed it accurately, which led to a clear and accurate estimate ($ and time to repair). All done very well.

Unfinished work
by 09/05/2022
onWaiting time with scheduled appointment, difficult attitude, unfinished work. Unable to fill up the windshield wiper fluid….EVERY time. Makes me wonder what else is being overlooked.

You all don’t care what these reviews say. Action is never taken.

onI have accumulated points to use towards service. This is the second service I had to pay for because they failed to apply them towards the bill. I sent my son a second time and they said they didn’t use them because they didn’t have the username but they were able to call me and text me to ask me if I needed other services? what kept him from calling me to ask me for the user ID or whatever they needed? I would not recommend this place to anyone anymore. The customer service has declined since I started going there. Last car purchased from this dealership was indeed the last one.

onI drive all the way from Casa Grande, Arizona to get my vehicles serviced. Freeway Chevrolet does the best job and they are faster than the other dealers I have gone too.

More mistakes than ever
by 12/06/2017
onJohn Miller and Bill Duffy were both excellent to deal with to find me the vehicles that I wanted and in the price I was looking for. Once I had the vehicles, it was the mistakes that continued to happen after that which is why I am very hesitant on recommending anyone to go to Freeway or any Chapman dealership. I was sold the truck for one price, with everyone knowing it had a lift kit on it, but was never explained that I am buying a truck and will have an additional price afterwards for the lift. I then had to go back in to renegotiate and apply for financing for an additional cost that was never explained to me from the beginning. All that was said and done and I find out that a few days later that the financing had another mistake that if Matt Honanie wouldn't have made the decision to eat the additional cost for his mistake, I would have had to pay an additional $5,000 for my 2nd car I purchased that same day. It was 100% unprofessional to have a buyer sign all of the paperwork, and have approved and accepted financing, then make them come back in because the Sales Manager did not explain everything correctly. To further the situation, have a conversation with another sales manager about the situation, and acknowledge that the mistake was on their end, but explain that upper management didn't care and if I wanted my truck, I was paying the additional money. If it hadn't been for John and Billy, my wife and I would have walked out and not purchased 2 new vehicles. The sales professionals are the only strength of Freeway Chevrolet.

From Loaners to Donuts I'm A Happy Camper
by 12/01/2017
onGreetings. I am back again to say that Richard Poole and the Freeway Chevrolet Team is Top Notch. This trip was a Sun Roof Leak issue and slight coolant smell. All issues were diagnosed quickly, and since there was a lengthy wait time for the repair parts Freeway again provided a Loaner Car for over a week (by the way, love the 2018 Malibu!). All transactions have always been professional with great communications. I am typically an informed customer/consumer so I have a good idea what I will hear from Rick for diagnosis. He doesn't disappoint and he also has never tried to pull one over on me. Great Service from Top to Bottom. From Free Loaners to Free Donuts I'm a Happy Camper.

Worst Dealer EVER
by 12/01/2016
onI would like to state that this dealer is the worst dealer that you can ever go too. Will Never go there again.........They say they can get you into a vehicle which is a big fat lie. They have test drive the vehicle then they make a deal with you & promise you the world, but once again they call you like 3 to 5 days later to let you know sorry you need to bring the vehicle back. Unable to help you out on getting that vehicle. I have had bad experience not just with the sales department, but also with the repair department too. Do Not Call ME EITHER

Forced To Purchase
by 05/26/2016
onBuyer be ware! After signing the contract, I returned less than 24hours latter to cancel and get my trade in back. I had not yet received the keys, and the truck was not going to be arriving for another week. It was at this point, I was told I would not be released from the contract, and that I could not have my trade back. Freeway Chevrolet forced me to move forward with this sale. If they would have disclosed the return policy (or lack there of), I would have went to a different dealership. Many offer a 3 day cooling off period. After requesting to speak with the GM on several occasions, the response was always the same; he was never in. I regret ever having went here.

Still Unhappy
by 02/17/2016
onThe biggest [non-permissible content removed] on the planet! They take no responsibility that what they did not only once, but twice, was illegal!! See my story below. In 2014 I bought a 2015 Malibu from Bill Bowlen. My experience with Bill was awesome; the finance department not so much. I got "approval" on my own with a somewhat high interest rate but a payment I could afford. My sister-in-law was with me and asked what would my payment be if she co-signed. After a credit check they brought us the final numbers. Keep in mind, this is MY vehicle and she is co-signing. It was not until 2 weeks later that we discover SHE is the primary buyer. Not me. This pissed me off, to say the least, because no one ever disclosed this to us. Fast forward to January 2015. I brought my Malibu in for its oil change and decided to look at the 2016 Malibu. My brother and sister-in-law were with me. My brother had been interested in a Colorado and decided to see if they could make a deal. Once again, my sister-in-law wanted to co-sign so my brother could get a better interest rate. Papers were signed but my brother discovers when the bank sends paperwork, that he is NO WHERE on the loan! Needless to say he was pissed! He then went to his credit union and got his own financing. Meanwhile I've signed paperwork for a 2016 with my sister-in-law as a co-signer, with strict instructions that I AM TO BE THE PRIMARY or no deal. I was told it was understood. They let me take the car so I assumed no problem. After a week and a half of only one hit on my credit report, Rafael from finance calls me on a SUNDAY to say he needs check stubs from me and Mary and he will be in touch. Now the hits start coming to my credit report. What the hell have they been doing for over a week? I call him on Tuesday. No call back. I call him on Wednesday. No call back. I then call Billy and tell him if a deal is not done by Friday, I will be returning the car. He says he will get my message to the right people. On Thursday I get a letter of denial with my Sister-in-law as the primary buyer! Then Rafael calls me to say that he got a deal done and needs me and Mary to come to the dealership and sign new paperwork because they couldn't get the deal done with me as the primary! THEN he states that actually he can't get it done with me on the loan at all! What?! Why would I make payments on a car and not get credit? That's when I got really upset and said "I specifically told you not to do that!" He then tells me it was upper management that did it. Needless to say I told him I would bring the car back on Friday and I want my down payment back! I'm a GM of a hotel so I know running a business is difficult. But to be made to believe one thing then have something else happen not once, but twice to me AND also to my brother is despicable. I wanted to give you the opportunity to respond before I take this up with the BBB, the Attorney Generals office, and any social media outlet I can find to let the community know how dishonest your company is.

Great service even though just warranty coverage and out-of-state owner
by 12/28/2015
onI stopped in for my 5K warranty service work and am from out of state. I thought I might be pushed to the back of the line because of this. I was really worried when, in spite of being the 6th car in line at opening of the service department, all the other cars were moved up before me after I was checked in shortly after 7:00 a.m. Not to worried however, the work was finished long before I got back from breakfast at AJ's where the dealer's courtesy shuttle had driven me. Excellent customer service from Andre Sims who made sure I didn't get ignored. Thank you to Milton Perez who actually did the work. Also, many thanks for the unexpected car wash. You guys are top notch!! T. Dekker

Broken promises
by 03/11/2015
onThe salesman Daymon made numerous promises about the new battery I installed into the Cruze that I traded off. Daymon promised me that I would get refunded for it, being as how it was still under warranty. Dennis ( I would assume would be Daymons lead) backed him on his promise. Dennis also promised that I wouldn't have to wait when I bring my vehicle in to get service, that they would provide a loaner vehicle. Now back to the first promise, I brought the receipt for the battery in and he said the lady that cut the checks is out until next week. I waited until the week and sent him a text asking about my money, nope another week. I waited another week and sent another text. He replied it was out of his hands, so I had to refer to Dennis. Dennis acted oblivious to what was going on. He then sent it to John Huggins who told me he apologizes and he will have my check next week. It is now next week. I still have no check and I called and it went straight to voice mail. I called again and he answered it and said he would call me right back in 5 minutes. I am still waiting. Another promise that was made if I don't like it within 30 days I can return it. I told him that if they can't get me my money I want to return the vehicle and to never do business with this company again. He said they cant do that. I finally had to call him back and he was very brash with me and said he would send the check. Then hung up on me. Another thing they sold me a used vehicle as a new vehicle

Great buy and service at Freeway Chevrolet!!!
by 04/08/2014
onOn April 5th, 2014 my husband and I decided on a whim to trade in my 2011 Traverse. After an email and a few phone calls, we set out for Freeway Chevrolet. My husband and I have pretty much been loyal GM owners (with only a couple of mistakes over the years owning "the other brands")throughout our adult lives. Once at the dealership, we were greeted by Mark O and Marco Coronado. Usually, we go in knowing exactly what we want. Well, this time being spur of the moment, that wasn't the case. Marco went over every single detail of ALL the Equinox options available. Once we settled on the color and options, we were off on our test drive. Back at the dealership, we were very surprised by the trade in offer as it was considerably more than we were expecting. There was no stressful haggling back and forth of prices. Michael B in finance was very polite and professional. This isn't our first vehicle from Freeway and it won't be our last. The entire process was great! With my husband wanting a Silverado in a few months, I now where we'll be. Great job guys!

onWe were very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the sales person and friendliness of the Freeway Chevrolet staff. We decided on leasing a 2014 Malibu and want to thank all of Freeway Chevrolet for making this a pleasant experience! The Malibu is everything we expected it to be.

HORRIBLE SALESMAN AND SERVICE!!!
by 12/17/2013
onwhat a NIGHTMARE my experience was there at Freeway Chevrolet. I first stated to them i was just LOOKING just like everyone does the first time looking for a vehicle. The older short black gentleman was very rude and pushy. Which I know that's how "most" salesman are but not a good start. Then asked for my social which i asked if they were going to run my credit as a hard pull, he PROMISED me that it wasn't i get a notification from my credit score co who monitors my info and sure enough it was can't believe i was LIED to in my face and then never got my DL back either. Long story short the salesman was horrible and very rude it was so funny how they kept saying they are known for there best customer service, what a JOKE ! WILL NEVER GO BACK. I can say never go to this merchant but doens't mean every single person won't if you do get your moneys worth.

Buyer Beware
by 02/09/2008
onI bought a new 2006 corvette from Freeway Chevrolet so when I started thinking about a fuel efficient car for commuting to work I naturally went to Freeway. My salesman Mark was super, so why not go back! I purchased a used 2004 chevy Aveo with 67,000 some miles on it and did something I have never done before in that I bought a 24 month, 24,000 mile drive train warranty. Having come from Wisconsin where everyone knew everyone the car buying process was usually one of trust but I thought $950.00 was cheap insurance for a vehicle I knew nothing about and a dealer I knew very little more about. A long story short, with about 71,000 miles on it the timing belt went taking out the engine. The warranty company paid part and the last message from them was they would not cover my loss because the engine problem was a lack of maintenance from the previous owner and I needed to go to Freeway to have the problem fixed. Freeway declined to do anything and as of over two weeks ago has yet to even reimbuse my warranty premium. What is really obvious is that Freeway never really seviced the car as I had to pay for two transmission flushes to get clean fluid. I would think that a fimily that started in the auto business in 1966 would want to provide better service to their customers. All I can warn you about is not to buy from the Chapman group, at least a used vehicle. I will be posting a service blog about how they tried to rip me off on my Silverado!

Know your own vehicle before taking it to Freeway Chevy service dept.
by 02/09/2008
onI moved here from Wisconsin and got a recall for my Silverado. Something to do with the brakes on vehicles that were in saltly road conditions. Not to much before recieving this recall I had taking my truck to Dana tire and auto in chandler and was told it was in excellent condition for the mileage, because of the maintenance that I faithfully have done, and that at this time other than the L.O.F. that it needed nothing. 90,000 miles. I go to Freeway with approximately 91,800 miles on the clock for the recall from chevrolet and when I go to pick it up am informed that there are 6 major problems on my truck and basically it is not safe to drive. I said really, 1800 miles ago it was jsut fine and now it is a death trap. The service writer backs up saying he will recheck with the mechanic. Trying to shift blame to him. I just said thank you, but no thanks and left. Hind site being what it is I should have gone to management but did not. I have since e-mailed the general manager, on another subject, and the response I got about that e-mail told what he would do to help me with anything. Nothing!
