Incompetent enough to lose a 75k sale.
by Disappointed on 10/09/2024All of the negative reviews for Lexus of Bellevue are accurate. Based on my experience, Ren, one of their salespersons, was very unhelpful and constantly miscommunicated throughout the sales process. Just as I was ready to close a $75k deal… with them, they mishandled it by pushing for more cash, lying, and focusing on their profit rather than the sale. The Lexus of Bellevue sales team were incompetent enough to lose a $75k deal, and it felt good to walk away from such a team.
Bait and Switch Special

Classic manager/sales person rope a dope, then you get a surprise addition of 4k of after market ad ons! Hop on down the road to Seattle, Tacoma, Spokane, or… Oregon. Common story in the reviews here...it's the way they operate.Beware of "Mandatory" Markups
by PNW4Lyfe on 01/10/2023In fairness, this team was very professional and very transparent. Hence, my logic behind giving them 3 out of 5 stars versus something less reasonable. Here's the thing...in an attempt to either tug at my heartstrings or be truly honest,… they said their sales are down and in order to keep the employees at the dealership employed, a non-negotiable, mandatory, "northwest package" of $3000 is marked up on every vehicle. It doesn't matter if you special order or not. So everyone is aware, this is not common practice. They were up front...kudos...but when I asked what it consisted of...I don't need overpriced weather mats or LoJack. I can buy better TuxMats for less and a $29 AirTag versus a $795 LoJack that is redundant with Lexus' safety and anti-theft systems. I'm buying a Lexus not a Hyundai. Don't sell me things that the automakers don't think are necessary. It holds no value to me and is a sunk cost on an item that already runs in the tens of thousands of dollars. I expected more from a reputable brand. Maybe that's why the Korean automakers are eating their lunch in sales and marketshare. I am a diehard Lexus fan, but that was the fastest conversation I've had since COVID started. Please stop taking advantage of a loyal fanbase. Decent but left a bad test in my mouth
by Ian on 08/11/2021I had a great experience buying a car with Rem at Lexus of Bellevue. The process was straightforward and I was out the door in no time. Where the low rating comes from; I was not able to take home my car that day and was told I would get… a loaner. It turned out no loaners were left which was not an issue as I was told I could take Uber home and back the next day to get the car and I would be reimbursed for the cost. It has now been over 2 months, I have emailed 3 times and I have not gotten a simple reimbursement for $70's in Uber charges. While the bulk of the experience was good it put a bad taste in my mouth.Thank you for providing your feedback and letting us know about this issue, Ian. Great service all around

They would not call me back after making 5 calls in the last month on issues with my car that they couldn't fix. After spending 70,000 on a Lexus SUV , I mean come on they… can't provide good customer service and fix the issues with my car is beyond RIDICULOUS! I wont recommend my friends who own Mercedes, BMW's SUV'S to buy a Lexus after the experience I had here. RIDICULOUS!Thank you for your feedback, Soun. Great experience
by KS on 07/24/2020Wonderful experience. I wanted a car with a certain interior color. No dealership within 200 miles had this color combination. After two days on the phone (all contact-free!) with my consultant Bruce, they found a car a few states away that… was just how I wanted it and they quickly locked me in for it. I was promised it would be delivered in 2 weeks but it came in a week and a half. On pick up, I only spent a short hour signing paperwork along with going over the features to my new car and. Such a pain-free process. I especially appreciated that I only had to be involved with just one individual, Bruce, who was exceedingly efficient and knowledgeable.Thank you for this great review, KS! Professional, fair, competitive and earn your business

They made the process easy, discussions were fair, they were more than competitive on the vehicle I wanted, trade in and delivery were smooth and no issues. All in all they did an excellent… job for us. They also were making a real effort to keep the place clean and disinfected and were wearing PPG which we appreciated. We Bought a New RX-350L
by Danny on 05/30/2020My initial inquiry into purchasing a new RX-350 was with Dan McLauchan who provided excellent email and phone support over several days by valuing my trade-in and sending additional info on the stock number I was interested in. We made an… appointment for May 26, 2020 and were met by Jacob Sherman who said Dan was off that day and had asked him to take care of us. Jacob also did an excellent job. I had previously requested info on a specific stock number but after looking at it in-person realized the “birch” color for the interior was too light for me. Jacob showed us other vehicles and we ended up buying a new RX-350L. Overall I think it was a very successful day.Hassle-free Process

It was just was I was looking for after the tragic loss of my sweet GS 350. My husband and I drove up to Lexus of Bellevue were greeted by… Sam Delaney. We told him we would look around and find him when we were ready. We took a look around the lot. Found the IS and she was just as pretty in person. We took her out for a test drive. My husband asked all the questions and Sam was able to answer every single one. We got back, Sam ran the numbers, and we talked and bing, bang, boom, Sam and Chase had me into my IS 300! They are also amazing with how they deliver the vehicle to you. Make sure you know where everything is. How to use everything. And answer all questions you have. This was not at all a painful experience. We weren't there all day. We knew what we wanted and Sam and the Lexus of Bellevue team got it done! I am one happy chick!Super Experience

by shamus123 on 06/06/2018Permalate ripoff victim. It's an interior and exterior warranty package that they sell. Non refundable they say now....that I want a refund, but I was told it was refundable. They obviously said that to make the sale. Filing a report now… with the State. I was promised certain warranty coverages by 2 different saleman and upon reading the contract it's not covered. But they told me "it covers everything" and had no pamphlets or anything to read and kept saying "it covers everything, and it's refundable".. Fraudulent representations and promises. I worked for hours trying to get a refund. I was promised that the warranty was able to be cancelled and refunded. I tried to get it cancelled 1 day after I bought it because the things they promised it would cover aren't covered as stated in the warranty contract. Even the company that fulfills the warranty said I should get back refund from the dealer. Therefore I am filing with the state attorney. No product was given or received. False representation by their employees is basically theft. $1,300 I worked hard for. Predatory dealership, don't shop here.Shamus, Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
