Tyler Ford for my new Maverick
by BJ's new Mav on 01/15/2025Bought the Maverick on the recommendation of my nephew who is the service manager for McLarty Ford in Texarkana. Couldn't find the exact build of the model I wanted, so Cody Fox at Tyler Ford custom ordered my 2025 Maverick with the… engine, tow capacity, colors and additions that I wanted. My truck was custom "fit" for me and my needs. He got it delivered within a couple of months and had it ready to go the next day after it arrived at the dealership. The vehicle I wanted at a fair price with no pressure or upselling. What more can you ask for?Hi, thank you for your kind words and congratulations on your new vehicle! The work on the vehicle has always been excellent. Overall, I do… not feel that the price charged at the Ford dealer is excessive for the quality of work. I you need to wait for your car to be serviced, the waiting room is large and comfortable with free coffee and soft drinks.Hi, we are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience! Every one was extremely nice and helpful when I dropped my vehicle off for service. I was originally assigned to James. He was helping another… customer when I arrived but another gentleman was very quick to take my information, set me up for additional services, inspection and an oil change, and get me on my way to work. The service was done on my vehicle promptly and I was contacted by James that I was ready to go. James was very polite and helpful when I arrived to pick up my vehicle. He explained everything that had been done. I then went, with James to pay the charges. The only unpleasant dealings I had with Tyler Ford was at check out. The young lady was not friendly, in fact, she never even spoke to me until she told me my total amount due. Those were the only words spoken, which was shocking after having dealt with extremely friendly people up to that point. I believe it is unfair to the employees who tried so hard to make this visit pleasant to have some one end the experience with her unpleasant attitude. Luckily, James walked me to my car, again very polite and pleasant so she was not the last person I dealt with from your business.Tyler Ford Service

by PWagner on 03/31/2018I bought a used car from Barry Broussard. He claimed that it was in perfect condition. Since Tyler Ford is supposed to be a reputable car dealership, I negotiated the deal over the phone and drove 3 hours to pick it up. It was dark when I… arrived so I could not check under the vehicle. In the coming week, I noticed an oil leak. We had only driven the vehicle home and maybe another hundred miles at that point. No way the vehicle wasn't leaking oil before we picked it up. They must have washed it prior to our pickup to hide the leak. Barry claims it wasn't leaking before we bought it. This is my son's first car and we thought we were dealing with honest people. All we wanted was a few hundred dollars to fix the leaks. Barry Broussard and the management at Tyler Ford are NOT honest people. DO NOT trust them!Thank you for taking the time to bring this negative experience to our attention. It is discouraging to hear that you had anything less than a stellar experience here at Tyler Ford. Please give us a call at (800) 788-7876 and we will do our best to make this better. He is the nicest guy! He always makes me feel like I am a valued customer and takes… the time to answer all my questions. Even if he is, he never seems too busy for me and is always very prompt with communication and keeping me updated on the status of my truck. I feel very confident in his knowledge and I know he is always trying to do what is best for my truck needs. He always walks with me to the service desk to pay and explains everything thoroughly so I understand what I am paying for. All around great guy!!! Thanks Scott!!Sam Knox
by tylerford on 09/05/2017I brought my F-150 in for a rear window leak and left it. Later the service rep called and said it was leaking and told me how much it would be to fix it, which I gave the Ok to do so. Later they called and said it was fixed, and I could… pick it up the next day. I picked it up the next day, and drove home with out inspecting it. When I open the back door, I noticed trash in the floor, one of the head rest missing and the black sealant was all on the window and on the outside of the vehicle. The head liner was not meeting up the door seal. The next day, I carried it back and the shop foreman met me and said that Tyler Ford sends glass work out to a third party to do, which made me feel a little better, because in the past I have had nothing but good results from Tyler Ford. I bought this vehicle from Tyler Ford and you are the only ones who has serviced it. The shop foreman apologized and had the vehicle cleaned up and fixed the head liner. I also found the missing head rest under the rear seat. This could all have been prevented if there was a better quality control inspection done when the vehicle is returned from the glass shop.We appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us the opportunity to improve.
