by Jay on 07/01/2025We recently bought a Chevrolet Traverse from El Dorado Chevrolet. (Or thought we did). We signed the paperwork, shook hands with the sales person and gave them a check for the car. We were told the car we were actually buying was at a… sister dealership and the salesman would pick it up the next day and deliver it to us. Then the next day we got a call from the salesman who said our car was sold to someone else but they would sell us one of their loaner cars for the same price. Basically a used car for new price cost. This was either incompetence, poor policies or we were lied to. Either way, if they can’t get sales right then what about service or parts or collision. The point is there are a multitude of dealership options. So avoid the drama and frustration and pass by El Dorado Chevrolet.Love our Blazer!

My usual service advisor Stephen was on lunch but Lucas took over and got me squared away without delay. Always great service at Eldorado Motors.Thanks! Warranty info missing, parts delay, spare rendered unusable.
by Frank N on 01/29/2025Vehicle sat due to backorder on water pump. That I understood. Then part was in Michigan but wouldn't be shipped until the truck was full even if I paid for it. Was told warranty was expired even though I used it six months ago. Found… the card in my own records. That saved a bunch. Since there was 80,000 on the drive belt paid for a new belt since the old one had to be taken off for the maintenance. Asked for the old belt to keep as an emergency spare. Got home and found the old belt had been cut clean through making it useless. Not my best experience.Frank, we appreciate your honest review. Smooth and efficient process
by BHInLoneStar on 03/17/2024Have bought from other dealers where you’re oversold add ons for the car you just purchased and a transaction that should take 15-20 minutes takes a few hours. My experience at El Dorado was much different. Maury helped locate the exact… truck and finance terms I was looking for and Vlad helped us when we arrived with test drive and getting the paperwork finalized. Everything was streamlined and efficient. While they offered all the add on and warranty options available there was no extra hassle if I declined….the way a car buying process should be. I do not like this place
by bcanerday on 02/08/2024The service department at this place is a joke. I brought my truck in with obvious issues to be covered under warranty. I also was finally getting my heated steering wheel installed 77k miles after purchase and promise. What should have… been a simple exchange was met with vitriol from the service manager Lucas Aston. They kept my truck for two weeks and did nothing. Now I have to find somewhere else to take it to get repaired. Stay away from this place at all costs.Thank you for your feedback.
