Great Experience buying used car
by ANorth on 06/22/2019Yesterday we spoke with mgr, Sean, and basically ironed out deal details over the phone for a used GT Mustang. When we got there today, car was ready and waiting for us; Stephaine and Sean were a pleasure to work with. There was a cosmetic… issue with the car, but we were able to come to an agreement quickly. Rod in finance was exceptional; no extra add ons and was quick to fully explain everything. We have bought cars from Chevy, Toyota, Lexus, Ford and Mercedes dealerships in the past. Our experience with Parkway Family Kia/Mazda today was top notch. Thank you again, Stephaine, Sean and Rod! Our son loves his new red GT Mustang!Sales

I honestly gave up until I met a guy named Adam at the Kia Parkway Family. He was so determined to get me my first car… because he love to see people like myself win. He actually believed in me more than I believed in myself. He was completely kind & humorous the whole time. It felt like I've been knowing him forever. I told him my situation and he completely understood. I suggest that anyone out there who needs a car.... call Adam & I promise you won't regret it. He's really the real deal. He will go out of his way for you when he doesn't even have to. Adam is really a blessing to me.Don’t waste time
by Vrug on 01/19/2019Don’t ever bring your vehicle here! After waiting for over 2 hours when I had an apt they gave me an estimate of $2335 which was almost half of the vehicle purchase price. They charged me $186 for an oil change and diagnostics and claimed… they fixed the front door driver locks in which we found out they didn’t when we got home. Also they wouldn’t let me use my $9.99 coupon for an oil change! We ended up taking it to get fixed completely for $300. What a rip off don’t trust these people!Unhappy Kia Owner
by Unhappy on 09/07/2018Scheduled a appointment on their website. Arrived 10 minutes early. Wanted an oil change. Took two (2) hours. They said the appointment is like a doctor's office it is when you get to talk with the service advisor, not when we are going to… work on your car. In other words, if you just drive in off the street, they are still going to talk to you and it will take the same amount of time to do the oil change. Then, they padded the bill by adding tire rotation to brand new tires which when the rotation is due, we get balance and rotation for free at Discount Tire where we just bought the tires.Part of the family

I spent the the whole day before at other dealerships feeling like I was fighting a whole sales team just to get a good price. Not at parkway, Linda Muhammad treated my wife and me… like family and was able to get us an amazing car at a price she knew we would be happy about. I've already recommended her to family and she and the staff at parkway have gotten my business for life. She even found a private space so my wife could feed and change our new born son. Parkway staff really made this an incredible experience.Great experience buying Kia Soul

by debbiees on 12/30/2015December 30, 2015 Parkway Kia Managers: I called on December 17th and made an appointment for December 28th at 8:00 am for my car to have a recall matter handled. The letter from Kia stated that the repair would take an hour and the… man on the phone said 1 ½ to 2 hours. On December 28th, I dropped the car off at about 7:45 am. When I entered the service department, 3 men were standing around chatting and another came as I was leaving. At the time of dropping off the car, none of them mentioned being way behind or any reason why my vehicle would not be serviced at the 8:00 am appointment time. At 10:30 that morning, my husband called to check on the vehicle to find that it hadn’t even been looked at. For the next hour, I tried to reach someone in the service department to tell me what was going on. I left 3 messages for the service manager, Greg Mosely, who has yet to call me back despite the fact that he was in the dealership that morning. I also had the unpleasant experience of speaking with Elizabeth in the service department who kept telling me she didn’t know anything and then refused to tell me her name the first 4 times that I asked her for it. After telling me many times that she hadn’t been who I dropped my car off with, she hung up on me when I insisted on speaking with someone who could answer my questions. After calling back yet again, I finally spoke with Noe who only wanted to make excuses as to why no one had looked at my car in the 3 ½ hours it had been there. He kept telling me that he didn’t make the appointments and that he had cars in the bay that had been there since Thursday and Friday. Considering that was Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, that it highly unlikely. There were also no cars in the bay when I dropped mine off that morning. If they really were that far behind on their service, perhaps I could suggest that they should have been working on things instead of standing around chatting. His solution was to give me a smaller loaner car that wouldn’t work for our trip to a basketball tournament for the next 3 days. His solution was then to give me my car back without being able to guarantee that it would be fixed by end of the week. I made an appointment for a reason and do not understand why my time as a customer is not at all valued. When I picked up my car I was told that the appointment time does not mean anything. I was told that a call center makes the appointments and they have no control over it. This sounds like a serious breakdown in communication somewhere. If the service department is that far behind, then the people making appointments need to know that they cannot schedule appointments until they have caught up. We bought this car at the Sterling Kia dealership in Bryan and never had bad service. This is the second time I have taken my car to Parkway Kia and have had terrible service both times. We have enjoyed both of our Kia vehicles and were considering a new one for our 16 year old daughter, but considering the lack of professionalism in the service department we won’t even consider purchasing a car from here. One of the most disturbing parts of this visit is that while I was told repeatedly that they were so far behind on their work, it didn’t stop them from rummaging through both my center console compartment and my glove box. There was absolutely no reason for that. When I picked up my vehicle, I was promised by Noe who took my email address that I would receive a survey so that I could let you know how they had done and how to file a complaint about Elizabeth’s lack of professionalism, but that too has not come. My complaints are valid and these issues need to be addressed. This dealership seriously needs to listen to the messages it plays while people are on hold. For the entire 25 minutes I was left on hold I was told repeatedly that this dealership does what they say they are going to do and how they have done business on a handshake and their good word for years. Obviously they haven’t seen their online reviews and I wish I had before I trusted them with my car.I GOT SOUL!!
by gejoey56 on 11/12/2015bring my 2015 KIA soul in next week for 7,500 mile service. bought auto in febuary this year. have had zero problems with auto. i'm six foot two and weigh in the 300-320- range. have more room in this car than ANY I have ever driven.… many thanks parkway for getting me into this auto. joe lockermanin all honesty will never shop here again

They make it as hard as possible to set up auto withdraw, and the organizational skills there are about as precise as a squirrel trying to make up its mind what side of… the road it wants to run to once it steps to far out. If you shop at the Parkway Kia of 22555 hwy 59 N, you will have a constant struggle to talk to anyone you are trying to get ahold of. Very unprofessional place that will try to sneak things into your contracts and get every penny they can from you. Their senior finance advisor should have his degree taken away from him due to his lack of knowledge he has, let alone he tries to play of by talking about what books he has read only thing he knows how to do is sneak [non-permissible content removed] into contracts and talk a good talk. Don't trust them once you see through the manipulation this dealership uses, its like cutting your grass short you can see all the snakes.Try another dealer first, avoid Richard

They gave me an overnight test drive optima SX and it died that night and left me stranded in a parking… lot in downtown Houston near the YMCA. After 2 hours I got a jump from Kia's people. The next day at the dealership he could care less that we were stranded, customer service is the only difference when you make a vehicle purchase. Richard made me feel like it was my fault the car didn't start. Accusing me of leaving on a light. So please dont bother visiting Parkway Kia, Mazda.Great sales personal

Several hours later(about 5 hours), the sales person still had a big smile on this face when we asked to drive a car that was… in the show room!!!The finance personal was very attentive and helpful... by silent_e on 07/30/2014My father and I came here to purchase a 2014 Kia Soul we saw on the Parkway Family Kia website. Firstly, let me say that we were greeted quite warmly by two friendly staff members, and not "set upon" like you might be at other… dealerships. Secondly, let me say that the price we saw was great compared to literally every other Kia dealership in the entirety of Houston (I would know, I spent a month checking them all). Darrel, the gentleman that assisted us, was has a fantastic sense of humor. He was charming, helpful, knowledgeable, and just an all around pleasure to work with. Lastly, I adore the car. I was apprised of all the features, and was offered assistance setting up bluetooth. The porter also did a fantastic job of making the car sparkle. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing from Parkway Family Kia. In the 13 years I have owned cars, I have never had better service. You'd better believe I'll be driving all the way back to them from Austin to buy from them again. A= staff, service, and selection.Great Experience at Parkway Family Kia
by centreag on 08/15/2010Recent purchase of a new 2011 Kia Soul was a great experience at Parkway Family Kia. The previous week we visited several dealerships, and narrowed down the choice to a Soul, with a preference for the Sport trim but without the optional… sun roof. I'm 6'7" and was surprised by the interior room and visibility, but the trims with the sun roof seemed to lose a bit of head room. When we visited Parkway and told them what we wanted, the sales associate showed us something that neither of the 3 previous dealerships had: the driver's seat could be lowered (or raised). When we lowered the seat in a Soul Sport with a sun roof, there was no issue with head room! The associate also showed us the impressive features of the 2011 automatic transmission, which gave the car a noticeable power boost when merging with freeway traffic. I told the sales associate that we were interested, he told us that the 2011 models did not have any "deals", but he'd see what he could do. He came back with a discount that was about 1/2 of what I wanted, and I told him that I was already pre-approved at a low interest rate (3.68% for 48 months). I asked for my discount number and told him that although we were interested, we had another dealer appointment that we needed to leave for. Within minutes, the sales manager came in to talk with me, and agreed to meet me halfway between my number and the original Parkway number. We agreed, and I was satisfied that 75% of my desired discount was offered. I canceled the other dealer appointment, and Parkway ended up finding an even better rate (3.59%). The entire staff was down-to-earth, from the sales associate, the sales manager, and the finance manager.
