  • Worst Dealership/Company to work with

    I have leased/purchased 8 different cars in Houston within last 12 years and this is by far the worst dealership/company to deal with. they overprice every add-ons by a large factor. I have been trying to deal with AutoNation since last 3… months to cancel the extended warranty which they promised could be canceled at any time. It's been a nightmare- with multiple calls and every single one with a wait time of 50+ min. Despite promising a date many times, they have not resolved it till date. It is almost impossible to get hold of them and when they respond, it's rude and offers no solution whatsoever. totally avoid dealing with this dealership and anything AutoNation.

    We purchased a C300. The entire buying process was unbelievable. Jennifer made things very easy. Completed everything over the phone/online and just walked in signed and drove. One of the best car buying experiences. We did have a small… hiccup on my trade in payoff, but Jennifer kept me in the loop throughout the process. Pity that other dealers aren’t like this. If all dealers were like this, car sales person wouldn’t have such a bad name.

    I purchased a Mercedes back in November 2023 and it was one of the worst experiences I have had in my life. All staff from finance, sales, manager and customer service were rude, unprofessional and not very knowledgeable. They will not… answer emails nor phones, they hang out on me, they spoke disrespectful and of course they could not fix the issue they created. As of today they charged my for a deposit hold and did not refund me the money. I highly recommend to stay away from this place and from these people.

    my adviser He always tries to help me but since I bought that car I have had more problems than solutions, today I still have problems and the sales manager wanted to help me so I could change the car, it is a certified used car but it is… still full of problems

    A super bad car, 9 weeks old and in Mercedes del Norte I never found any problems with the car and took it to another dealer. and it still has problems and no one is responsible, they don't want to change my car, Mercedes GLE 350 certified… but certified to be full of problems

    I had a very positive experience with the service at Auto Nation Mercedes-Benz North in Houston. From the tow truck picking up my vehicle to the service adviser checking it in and the actual service being performed. I feel that for all of… the work that had to be performed (warranty work) I was very well taken care of. Kudos to the people who gave me great service.

    The experience is always great. I had a bulb replaced in my headlight...I didn't know that it took to replace it but, when the service writer explained the process, I was shocked. But overall, the service was quick. I was satisfied.

    Bought a Mercedes Sprinter Van. Low mileage. Dealer inspection was flawless. Having bought Mercedes on several occasions in the past, we were confident we would be treated in an honorable way, and that the dealership would have integrity.… They agreed to make several repairs that were obvious issues at the time of the sales agreement. Per schedule we brought it back for those repairs. It has been almost a month now and they have not even given us an update despite almost daily requests. We still have no idea when to expect to get the vehicle back. I have a strong feeling the problem isn’t Mercedes the corporation it is this particular dealership which happens to be a nationwide company.

    Recently, I have had an extremely disappointing experience with the Mercedes-Benz dealership when I took my car in for repair. I must say, this encounter has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I feel compelled to share my experience in… the hope that it might help others avoid a similar situation. First and foremost, the issues began with the constant need for repairs on my vehicle. It felt like a never-ending cycle of problems, and my expectations for the quality of service from a reputable brand like Mercedes-Benz were not met. The lack of reliability in their vehicles was a major concern. Furthermore, communication with the dealership was a significant issue. I sent an email outlining my grievances and received no direct response. Instead, I was met with a frustrating phone call from an employee in the Service and Repair department who repeated the same explanations about the necessary repairs and emphasized the absence of a warranty. This lack of response and the redundancy of the conversation was immensely frustrated They charged us $13,000 dollars plus and still not fixed the check engine light, and they want $10,000 more to fix it, with no guarantee the problem will be solved. Despite our clear request for a resolution, we received neither a satisfactory response nor a definitive course of action. We simply sought either a refund for the incorrect repairs, which were the result of a faulty diagnosis, or for the dealership to rectify our car to its initial intended condition. This reasonable request seemed to fall on deaf ears. The toll this ordeal has taken on my family cannot be overstated. As the caregiver to my husband, who is already dealing with health issues, this situation has only added to the stress and negatively impacted his peace of mind and overall well-being. In light of these unfortunate circumstances, we had no choice but to insist on written communication exclusively. We requested an end to verbal agreements and verbal information, with the stipulation that all future communications from the dealership must be in written form. In conclusion, my experience with the Mercedes-Benz dealership was nothing short of a nightmare. The constant need for repairs, poor communication, and the lack of resolution have left me deeply dissatisfied. I hope that by sharing this review, others may be spared the frustration and disappointment that my family and I have endured in dealing with this dealership. After This Review, we are going to submit our case to BBB,x and then start with a media campaign.

  • Not happy with both 'certified car' nor sales lady.

    I purchased a used 2019 Lexus ES350. Given that the dealership was a Mercdedes dealership, one would think you would get above average customer service. My car had a very obvious dent which was not there when we initially inspected the car… before purchase. Then, after driving the car for several days, I had to bring the car back because the car was shaking if I brake while driving 60mph, which should not be happening, since the car was 'certified' by the dealership. The sales lady said she will speak to the used car manager if they will pay to replace the brakes, and, if they are willing to buy back the car. This discussion with the sales lady was on a Friday afternoon. And I am writing this feedback exactly a week from last Friday, and still have not heard back from her, even after sending a follow up email to her a couple of days ago, on Wednesday. Not happy with the car and how they were able to 'certify' it, and not happy with the customer service at all. After the car is sold, they basically disappeared on customer service.

    • This is a follow up to my review above. After I submitted my review last Friday, I called the dealership to speak to the pre-owned dept manager, but since he wasn’t available, I left my name and phone number with the receptionist, and also gave her a brief message for my call. The sales lady finally texted me a couple of hours later, saying she had been out of office and can call me later. I never responded to her text. She then responded to my email the next day, just stating they will not replace the brakes. And as of today, that sales manager never returned my call. What if I just missed the call? But then I would think he’ll leave a voice mail, correct? But no voice mail neither, so it’s safe to assumed he never called back. This is horrible service, especially coming from a Mercedes Benz dealership. I had purchased another used Lexus at a Mazda dealership on I-10, in 2019, and the service before AND after the sales was top notch. Also, when I made the appointment to get the the brakes inspected by the service department, the appointment was for 2:15 pm, or 2:30pm. It took the service department about 3 hours just to test drive the vehicle and inspect the brakes. That was ridiculous.

    I took my car in for service at Mercedes-Benz North Houston and my experience was top notch. I was greeted pleasantly and promptly as soon as I arrived. All of the staff was extremely professional and accommodating to me while I waited.… They didn’t try to upsell me constantly and there were drinks and snacks available to me if I needed something. The service was quick and I was on my way in a clean car.

    If I could give zero I would. I don't think I have enough characters allotted to fully express the disappointment I have dealing with this company when taking in my car for a simple overhead console repair and oil change. Not only did it… take over a month to get my car back but when we did get it back it was filthy with oil stained finger prints all inside. The first rental they gave us had a huge crack in the field of vision and I was told that was all they had. It was nothing to do with cosmetics it was the simple fact that driving it everyday was dangerous because of the blurriness and distorted images you had to see through while driving. It wasn't until I got a manager involved , which that was an act of congress, that I finally got a new one 3 weeks later. I had to call just about every other day to nudge someone every step of the way until my car was done. Then no attempts were made to make it right I basically had to ask for at least the oil change to be compensated. In my opinion this should be unacceptable for a "luxury" car service. I should not have had to pay a dime and I feel like they should have compensated further. At the VERY least detailed my car and take all the finger prints off! Terrible terrible nightmare of an experience and I pray I never need to take my car in again. I may just drive an hour away to the next mercedes dealership and just take my chances there. I suggest anyone do the same!
