Dishonest practices
by TonyJowers on 06/14/2024Sold me truck, told me it was new but after paperwork was done and I paid for it, at delivery found it was a service loaner and it even had minor collision damage.Hi Tonyjowers, we appreciate you taking the time to respond. The staff at AutoNation Ford Frisco take our reviews very seriously. If you are willing, please call our General Manager at (972) 763-5523 for further assistance with moving forward. Thank you for leaving your feedback, and we hope to hear from you in the future.
Before any review I did go to GM John Bosco and was basically blown off. This GM, dealership, and Corporation has shown they do not care. I will keep making the public know about this dishonest company on a weekly basis through social media.
Bait and Switch - Terrible Experience in Service Department
by Tom C on 06/07/2024Bait and Switch - Terrible Experience in Service Department On 6/7/2024 around 8:45a.m., I came into AutoNation Ford Frisco for an oil change on my Ford Expedition Max Platinum As I began to work with the service advisor, closest to the… entry door, I inquired about the price and availability of a full synthetic oil change for the vehicle. I was informed the work could be done same day and the price of the service would be approximately $130. I then inquired explicitly, “if there were addition savings or coupons that might be available since the last price I had paid about five months earlier was closer to $85”. My question also explicitly included asking about any promotions or coupons on the website. The lady service adviser stated all coupons are mailed promotions, and were similar to those I had in hand and I had received via Postal Service mail. I was informed by her that no other promotions existed, including on the website. While she was checking the vehicle in, I decided to go to the official AutoNation Ford Frisco website. https://www.autonationfordfrisco.com/service-offer-oil.htm I then found that in fact there are not only promotions for an oil change, but in fact a full synthetic oil change at $39.95. The promotion clearly and explicitly stated "full-service oil change", with no other substantial disclaimers such as “parts only”. In the disclaimer, it stated "see store for details". When I requested that the $130 price she originally quoted be adjusted to $39.95, she questioned "is that the promotion stated on the website of $39.95?". This indicated to me that in fact she knew of promotions on website and misrepresented them to me upon my inquiry. I then said, "yes, it is the promotion on website". She then replied that the price on the website indicated the price of "parts only", which nowhere on that disclaimer did it say as such. I then inquired how much would the labor be for the oil change would be and she replied, between $40 and $50. Now if I had accepted this price, it would have resulted in a savings of at least $50 from her originally quoted price. I then asked her to clarify, exactly, what the total would be, and she stated she “would not know the final price until the end”. I said this is absurd, you misrepresented your knowledge of promotions, essentially lying to a customer, then when a customer finds the promotion you misrepresented knowing of, you add a charge double the amount of the total service advertised, and then can not still state a definitive price for a standard and ordinary service with committed book listed service time. I asked to speak to the manager, and Fabian a former advisor now acting manager, informs me that he too will only recognize the promotion as “parts” and that labor would be additional. I stated it says no where in promotion that labor is extra, and his response is that “see store for details” allows him to add said labor fees. I replied “the store website says nothing of this extra fee”. I informed him the advisor said she could not state the amount for the add’l labor fee, he replied “the labor would be $41.” He then proceeds to see the 25% price discount card in my hand which I received by mail, and states that if I use that promotion against the original price of $130, that it would yield a better outcome for me. I then asked …”how?…If the parts are $39.95, the additional and subjective labor fee you choose to add is $41, that would come out to be around $81. 25% off of $129.99 is leaves a remaining amount owed of $97.49.” He says “well now that we’re doing math, that (the promotion plus subjective fee) would be better.” This is a classic bait-and-switch in advertising vs. willing to honor promotions advertised, and is misrepresenting what the customer is lead to believe is a valid offer by dealer. More importantly, this practice yields a terribly deceptive and untrustworthy experience to customers driving them elsewhere.Hi Tom, we are deeply disappointed by your experience at AutoNation Ford Frisco. Our General Manager would like to help turn your experience around. If you're willing, please contact our GM at (972) 763-5523 to discuss what we can do to help.

Satisfied New Vehicle Owner
by Leon on 04/18/2024Auto Nations Was the only Dealership I found in the area that was interested my business, of ordering me a new 2024 Ford Bronco. The other Ford Dealerships only wanted to sell me a 2023 Bronco they had on the lot and when the find out that… I was not going to buy a 2023, the lost interest in dealing with me. The ordering process at Auto Nations quickly and smoothly. The only negative issue was that when it was ready to pick up the Dealer Installed options had not been done and our salesman, not the salesman who had ordered our vehicle, was not aware of these options so I had to come back another day and leave the vehicle for 21?2 days to have them installed. However Cory, the person who takes care of seeing that these options installed and was very friendly and took care of this issue. We would recommend Auto Nations/Frisco to anyone looking to buy a new vehicle.Hello Leon, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Thanks again for the recommendation, and have an amazing day!
Thanks!

Trade-in & New Car
by MG MachE on 03/07/2024Did a trade-in and purchased a new car. The sales team made the process smooth. I was able to take my new car home the same day. Best part, they acknowledged and addressed minor concerns. I felt heard and valued as a customer, I greatly… appreciate that! The overall service was top-notch! I would highly recommend this dealership to others looking to purchase a vehicle. Thank you Dennis, Jeff, Cory and Kyle.Hi, it is great to read such wonderful comments about your recent experience with us! Bait and Switch
by Brian R on 03/04/2024I recently had a horrible experience at AutoNation Ford in Frisco, TX. I negotiated a deal for a Ford Explorer ST, 2020 with 26K miles. I obtained a cashier’s check for the full amount of the contract. I made it clear that I would purchase… a plane ticket from El Paso to Dallas and provided proof of the reservation to the sales department. The sales department assured me the vehicle would be reserved and pulled off the lot. I received a text msg from the sales department the following day when I was waiting for my connecting flight from Denver to Dallas. I was informed that the Explorer I was supposed to purchase had been sold by the Houston AutoNation dealership and that they had already picked it up earlier that morning. Jeff Vasquez offered me several options that were completely unacceptable. One was an Explorer with twice as many miles, a similar Explorer located in Washington state, or $10k off a new Explorer with an original sticker price of $61k! This is classic bait and switch. (They did offer to reimburse me for my expenses.) I was left with little option. Either fly back to El Paso without a car or continue to travel to Dallas and attempt to make a deal. I caught my next flight to Dallas and spent 3 hours haggling over the price of a 2023 Explorer ST. End result I ended up with a car payment rather than paying cash for a car I negotiated in good faith for. AutoNation has zero integrity. Jeff Vasquez never greeted me or apologized in person to me. Do not purchase from dealership. This review and complaint will be posted with the BBB and Autotrader, and Edmunds.Great customer service
by CJackson on 02/21/2024The buying process was smooth and quick. I explained that I’ve purchased many vehicles and didn’t want to be there all night. Stuck it out on a long Maverick wait !
by ThomasT on 01/30/2024Ordered a Ford Maverick when the books were opened in 2022. Corporate didn't get to build it in 2023, so the order rolled to the 2024 model year. The folks at AutoNation checked on the status of the vehicle, more often than Ford did.… They made sure the order got renewed - and verified my place in line. Finally came in at the end of 2023 - and it's great. Probably took a bit longer than i would have liked to pick it up - but frankly, no one ever gets out of dealership in less than 2 hours !Hi, our Staff is dedicated to providing all our guests with outstanding customer service and quality work you can trust! Don't hesitate to call us if you ever need anything. Be safe on the road!
Disappointed
by Patrick on 01/12/2024My sales guy was a great guy, but about a week after I got the truck the check engine light came on. Took it in and waited. I get it, it is a used truck, stuff happens. About a week later, I get a call saying there wasn’t really anything… wrong. So naturally I asked why the check engine light came on and was told because the carbon build up is the converter. Ok it happens. Made me nervous because it didn’t seem like that big of a deal to anyone. So moved on and about 10 days later, light came back on. Seemed kind of fast to me. But took it back in. Honestly from making this a really long rant I’ll just say no communication. I talked to a supervisor 3 days ago and he said he would talk to his tech to see where it’s at and nothing. Just called and was on hold only to be told the tech and the supervisor is gone. Now I feel like I made the wrong decision on buying here even when my sales guy was great. Now I’m stuck.Hi Patrick, we are deeply disappointed by your experience at AutoNation Ford Frisco. Please call our General Manager at (972) 763-5523 for ways we can work towards resolving these issues. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
I tried to call and couldn’t get a hold of anyone

Went to AutoNation Ford Frisco to purchase a Used Ford Fusion Hybrid
by Norman Baraz on 01/04/2024I went in with a specific vehicle to replace a similar 2017 vehicle that was totaled. I did my research and located a 2019 vehicle I wanted. I dealt with Courtney McCracken who was a delight to work with. I set up the appointment and she… had the vehicle ready for me to check out when I arrived. The vehicle met my expectations and of course, I observed a few issues which she has and is working on. The vehicle rides better than expected along with learning the new technology that is on the vehicle. I also dealt with a few of her key associates who are involved in the sale and found them all to be professional and not attempting to upsell me.Hi Norman, we're happy to hear you had such a positive experience with our team! If you ever need help, just give us a call. Happy motoring!
Messed up my car
by Jeff Gaston on 12/06/2023Brought my car in for an oil change. They bent my hood prop and now my car has an oil leak. They either used the wrong drain plug gasket or stripped my plug/pan. Now they want me to pay labor for them to fix their mess.I want to take back my comment because I was in the heat of the moment and was venting. They are good people, but just made a mistake.

Excellent Service
by Mark Ross on 11/22/2023The Service team at Frisco Ford is amazing. I brought my car to Sean Virsack, Service Advisor, because a plastic piece broke by the convertible top. They had ordered the piece, but it came in damaged. When Eric, Service Tech, noticed the… piece he immediately notified Sean and they both informed me of the situation. The part was ordered again with rush service. I appreciate the honesty and integrity they displayed. They could have put the part in and never told me, but that wouldn't define who they are or the integrity of Autonation Ford Frisco. Both of these gentlemen are who you go to when you go to Autonation Ford. Thank you so much for your help and honesty. I definitely recommend this Service Center and Sales Department to any looking for honesty, integrity and a family atmosphere. Again, thank you so much for everything.Hello Mark, we're happy you found our staff to be so supportive during your experience here at AutoNation Ford Frisco.
