Unlike another local dealer (owned by an equity fund) this dealership actually is happy to do oil changes, warranty repairs, and other less profitable services. Their calendar is "not full for weeks" for services and was so easy to get a… quick appointment for servicing. I was impressed with their use of technology - photo scanning the entire car upon entry, providing a video review and recommendations by the mechanic that included the motor and undercarriage (tires, brakes, etc.). I'm so glad I chose to buy the car (and 3 previous ones) and secure all servicing through First Honda!!

When it came time to work up a proposal, he didn’t make me sit there half an hour. He and the sales manager came back… promptly (within ten minutes) with an understandable, fully itemized term sheet, and a fair trade in allowance higher than I got elsewhere. Allowed me to take it home and talk with my spouse. I suppose I could have haggled more but felt so good about the price and experience.Jay Jank is awesomeness personified

by Phil on 09/17/2019Took vehicle in as during start it was having unusual behavior (i.e., dashboard lights blinking, rough/no start, etc.). Thought I had an electrical problem ($$). They took the car in, checked the electrical systems in the car thoroughly.… The battery had a bad cell. Told me the car systems were OK. They only charged me for the battery replacement. Didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need. Very fast, courteous, professional behavior.Didn’t play the usual game

I have used this dealership for regular oil changes and annual inspections since I purchased the car, and have had… great service! AJ has been my service tech the past few visits and he has been great! Never pressures me to pay for any additional services, and provides detailed information about the status of important upcoming maintenance. I will continue to have my car maintenances here even though I have finished paying off the car!Excellent service at First Texas Honda
by Peter on 08/08/2019I came in for a state inspection, but (unfortunately, though not unexpectedly) had some additional maintenance that needed to be addressed. My service advisor (Ty) made me aware of those items & their cost, and requested my OK before… proceeding with the work. He also reviewed with me at checkout the results of the multi-point inspection, what looks good, and what will need service at my next regular visit. Given that I walked out of there having spent more (though fairly priced) than I'd planned on, I appreciate that he did not "push" on me items that could safely wait until a later visit. My experience (with a previous car at another repair shop) was often, "as long as you're here, you should do this and this and this." I always appreciate Honda's professionalism, quality work, and not being nickled & dimed. Well done, folks! Keep up the good work!Another great purchase experience
