Hope you don't expect a quick process
by Kayla Darling on 07/12/2022I purchased a vehicle from Audi North Austin on 5/18/22. I am an Arizona resident and bought the car out of state. I was told by their finance director, Natalie Watson, that it would take 4-6 weeks to get my registration. After the weeks… passed, I called the dealership to get a status because the DMV in Arizona still hadn't received anything for my registration. No one called me back for two days until I finally reached out to the Audi corporate office for resolution. Audi North Austin uses a third party service, Dealer Docs LLC, for their out of state purchases. They didn't send any documents for my registration to Dealer Docs until June 30th, 43 days later--meaning they took no action on my documents for 6 weeks. I called Dealer Docs LLC on my own to find out they informed Audi North Austin on 7/7/22 that they needed a bill of sale and an Arizona emissions test in order to finish my registration. It is now 7/12 and no one from Audi has reached out to me to tell me of the additional items needed. My temporary plates expire on 7/17/22 and I am currently still in Texas taking care of sick relatives and cannot get back to Arizona until August 4th to get the additional documents. They are now not responding to me on how to get temporary plates to bridge the gap between my expired temp plates and the required emissions test. I suspect they did this so that I would not refinance my autoloan before they were paid on it. There are also other reviews online citing the same issue, and they are not out of state residents. Some people citing 100+ days to receive their registration.Unsatisfactory Preowned Purchase Experience
by Eric_Seling on 03/12/2020Be extra cautious when purchasing a used vehicle from this location. This started out as a very pleasant purchasing experience. I bought from out of town and my salesperson, Josh was very helpful and responsive in answering my questions.… Purchase was simple and fast when I arrived in town. After driving the vehicle home, I was unable to open the back door. I contacted my salesperson the same day of my purchase and alerted him to the problem. I was told that the vehicle was purchased as is and the dealership couldn't do anything to assist with the issue. I would hope a dealership would be a bit more open to solving a problem that was identified the very same day the vehicle was sold. Especially since it was an issue that would have needed to be fixed for any other customer to buy the vehicle had I not purchased it. Very disappointed in the lack of response or desire to fix an issue that clearly existed when the vehicle was sold. Be extra cautious when purchasing a used vehicle from this location. Update.... Now, less than 24 hrs after purchase, the back right door also doesn't lock or unlock.Love it!

by Saravanaq on 01/27/2020My wife and I were at your dealership this past weekend and one of your sales people tried helping us buy a car. His overall demeanor was unprofessional and acted like he was doing us a favor throughout the process. He started off ok by… recommending us to try different models since we were still thinking about A3/S3 vs A4/S4. He took us for a test drive on those models. As soon as we entered the car, he sat in the car in the front seat instead of my wife and his demeanor changed. He didn't do a good job directing us where we were going. During the test drive he was recommending other car companies and said some weird things. When we came back, we wanted to price out the A3 and see what a lease would look like. He said some insensitive/racist comments about my name while he was typing it in. If he was really curious about my long name, but there is a nice way to ask about it. He was talking about random weird things and he didn't get any input from us about how many miles we will drive, finance options, etc, He just plugged in some numbers himself and brought back some low ball number. I understand this is the start of the negotiation process, but I would've liked some finesse and class. I am buying and Audi and I don't need a hard sell. I will not name the person directly here, but he definitely needs to get educated on how to talk to a customer.Josh Boom is so cool

Then we wanted to test drive an Audi just to see what it was all about. Then we met Cory… Rutherford at Audi- North Austin. He saved the day. Absolutely, no pressure to buy a particular car. He listened to our needs, gave great information, consistent communication and most of all....he was kind and personable. He helped us get the deal we needed/wanted and did it with ease. Found a prospect vehicle on the website and decided to show up and take a… "test drive". Cory met us and it was smooth sailing from that point on. No pressure at all. He gave us the info that we needed in a helpful and knowledgeable way. After listening to our needs/desires we identified a different car that was EXACTLY what we looking for. If you don’t look the part, you will be ignored. The culture of the dealership is that of numbers:… what have you sold? How much? And where is the next deal. Customers don’t matter unless you are buying an R8 , Q8, V10, or an F12. I bought a used VW from this dealership. The experience was the worst I’ve ever had in my car buying history and that too from a dealership. The sales guy I was dealing with was deceitful! I was sold a car that DID NOT pass inspection while I was told everything checked out. As soon as I drove it off their lot, I had to take it to the VW dealer to get it fixed. Next I was short changed on the tax sticker. Rather than 12 months, I was issued a sticker for 11 months… really? 1 month made that much of difference in your books?! There are plenty of good dealers (including Audi) in the city of Austin and you would be better off taking your business there. STAY AWAY!Great customer service!

by Ali on 02/18/2018Sales person (James Morrison) was rude. I had an appt and he called to say he could not accommodate, everyone is busy at the dealership, really? Once I got to dealership after rescheduling, fuel tank was almost empty for a test drive so I… had to return back to dealership, refuel and go back for test drive. Sales person did not know much about the car. He would run back to ask his peers specifics about the model ( this happened twice for what I call basic questions) Then we get to the fun part, price negotiation. Midway through the conversation he steps out and goes to talk to another client, wtf. Then I show him comparable pricing from other dealerships and he didn’t bother to look but straightaway mentioned, why are you here at this dealership, you should go to the other dealership. What a genius way to win business. That was enough for me to walk away, not getting my business.
