    Best service advisor. Ever! If you're lucky enough to get Mercedes Rodriquez, just know she'll take care of you! She was the most professional; thorough; attentive service advisor I've ever had.

    The service dept damaged the body of my vehicle and refuse to fix it. Make sure you take pictures of your car before it enters the service dept. Poor customer service! I will never return to this dealership for any reason.

    I have been taking my Hyundai for the covered maintenance since I bought it in 2020. Every time they showed me a screen document with what they were going to perform in my vehicle showing some amounts for every service but for which I had not paid anything because it is in my covered maintenance agreement. Everything was the same today EXCEPT that they performed some extra services and when I go to pick up my key and the paperwork they told me I owed $364. I don’t refuse to pay anything I owe to anybody but I got mad with them because nobody told me I would have to pay any amount out of pocket as opposed to previous times. The employee told his boss he told me (off course) and his boss believed his employee more than his customer. I would not do business with them anymore because that’s not the way to do business, it is an insult to customers.

  • Poor communication and service

    Although I am extremely happy with my car, the level of service I recieved from Vandergriff Hyundai was very poor. My car had a minor issue that needed to be fixed. i realized the USB port didnt work the day after I bought it. I called 2 times and emailed to get it fixed with no response either time. Then I recieved an email from the GM requesting positive feedback on the survey. He asked me to reach out to him if I needed anything. problem was, there was no contact info in the email. when I replied to the email, it was automated and returned to me. I was able to do research online to get his info. Long story short, I have made 5 trips to the dealership and it's been over a week. my car still isnt fixed, I cannot get any ETA on when my it will be fixed and I only receive updates if I reach out first. oh, and they lost my keys somehow. Beware of this dealership. Once the ink dried on the check they do not do anything to provide quality service or drive loyalty. And I also never recieved a link for a survey. I guess when they know they screwed up they remove your email from the database.

    Whenever we take our 2001 Sonata in for service, it always takes at least 2 days to be completed. We needed a part and were told they would call when it came in. Never got the call and when we called them, they didn't know what we were talking about! And on top of that, with the slow turnaround time, they don't provide loaner vehicles, only shuttle service back home! So, I guess people aren't supposed to be able to go to work, or worse yet, bear the added expense of a rental?? Just awful on their part. Their sister dealership, Vandergriff Chevrolet, next door, does provide loaners!

    I bought my Sonata brand new on 6/11/2010 and have had it serviced there all but one time . It currently sits at 100k + miles, so I have been there plenty of times atleast once every 5k miles. They have always been super nice and helpful. They always take or return your calls quickly. I don't what the other people are talking about. The prices are a bit high but it's a dealership they all are so can't really complain cause there isn't a single REAL dealership that is. They do good work and when they say they will. I'm looking to take the car in for the 100k service and I will give it no thought to take it anywhere else but to these guys.

    I used to get my vehicle serviced her but I began losing trust in them when the price they quoted me for the 30,000 maintenance was about double of what another dealership quoted me. I have since stopped getting my car serviced here. My husband won't even deal with the service department after being told to give them all 10's on the survey he'd be getting. This made him mad that they were trying to coerce him into giving him a good review. (I will say, the waiting area isn't too bad as they have a nice big screen tv to watch while you wait.

    I inquired about having the timing belt changed on my wifes sante fe last month and was quoted a price which was a little high but acceptable. When I called yesterday the service representative had little knowledge of the vehicle, and the quote had increased by 1/3 of the original quote. I then decided to contact [another dealership] who imediately scheduled me in and did the work fpr a very fair price.

    Called phone # on website, no one ever answered. called 2nd # I found on website, when asked for service, got answering machine. left message, no one ever returned my call. Took 2 hours to "diagnose" my issue, a check engine light staying on. Then was given a $2,765 list of 11 things they thought I should correct. I fixed one, and it resolved the check engine light issue. was told to change the switch would not take more than an hour. 2 1/2 hours later, angrily I went to service dept. car was in line, fixed. took another 20 minutes to get my bill. Would not recommend this dealer to anyone BUT my worst enemy.
