by Lisa Williams on 09/26/2024first as much as they talk their heads off don't buy the extra insurance package. If they tell you, you can cancel they lie! You might be able to cancel but you might have to argue a full year and still not get your refund back and then you… won't have package and no money. Before you sat it, that's all I wanted is for the payment to go to the car payment. 2 Be sure to get all paperwork sitting finance desk. There were lots of things in the contract I did not know about extra charges, financing at an all-time high. When a company gets you financing it should be the best financing as possible. GM financing at Vandergriff does not do that! They take your perfect credit score 820 and act like its something not there and are convincing. They give you financing at 6.99 it states but other sites that its really 7.5 financing and you can never get them to talk to you when there is a problem, they just keep passing the buck and never admit there is a problem..Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Will not be returning
by CatJohnson on 08/26/2024We will not be returning to Vandergriff Chevy due to the excessive wait time we experienced after purchasing our vehicle. We traveled three hours specifically to buy a particular model. Despite arriving at 8:50 am for our 9 am appointment… with Cecilia D.—who was unavailable at the time—we were assisted by Daniel P. The test drive and sales negotiations were completed around 10:30 am. However, we waited until approximately 1:00 pm to finalize everything with Jessica in Finance. Finance faced some challenges with equipment, but Paris stepped in to help with printing the paperwork. We were then informed by Daniel that our vehicle was still in PDI and awaiting detailing. This was particularly frustrating as we had been assured that the vehicle would go directly to PDI and detailing after the negotiation was finished. We ended up waiting an additional two hours for the vehicle after completing the finance process. In total, we spent over six hours trying to complete this purchase. In my thirty years of buying cars, I have never experienced such a long wait. The updates from Daniel were inaccurate, and we received only one follow-up from Sales Manager Parks immediately after the purchase, with no further communication during the four and a half hours of waiting. The Sales Manager should have kept us better informed about the vehicle's status. Daniel should have been clearer about the delay, and your service center needs to address why the PDI and detailing took so long. After the sale, Daniel mentioned that we would receive a survey and encouraged us to let him know if we were dissatisfied. I was honest with him before leaving, stating that Vandergriff Chevy had failed us and that we would not be returning. I cannot, in good faith, recommend Vandergriff to others looking to buy a vehicle.Thank you for sharing your feedback. Even though I was just in there for a oil change and tire rotation, I felt at ease with the process. It did take a… bit over an hour, but I was not in a hurry and enjoyed the free coffee. They did a good job on my vehicle and were very friendly to me.Safety issue
by Safety issue on 02/23/2024On Feb 14, 2024, I had an oil change from Vandergriff Chevy n Arlington. I asked them 2 check the status of my battery. I was told they couldn't cuz I had an amplifier hooped up 2 it. Outside of that, I was advised my car was fine. While… driving the next day, I had a blowout. After taking it 2 the tire shop, I was told that the inside of 3 of my tires had worn down 2 the steel belts n could blow at any time. I must replace them 4 safety reasons cuz it's a serious accident risk. I purchased a set of tires cuz my wife or granddaughter ride with me ofter. I couldn't live with myself if I had an accident, n they were injured due 2 negligence or incompetence. My vehicle had 2 b lifted on a rack 2 complete an oil change. Even if it wasn't, I was told my vehicle passed inspection. Incompetence, negligence, or just don't care. Whatever the reason, this is unacceptable n could have ended very badly. I have purchased multiple vehicles from Vandergriff Toyota. I have serviced my vehcles at both Vandergriff Chevy n Toyota. I don't know what the future holds, but this doesn't sit right with me...Very pleased customer

I highly recommend you do business with them for your next automotive purchase. I traveled approximately 650 miles round trip to this… dealership and am very pleased that I did. by Safetntx on 02/08/2024We met with Scott initially and he listened to our concerns without trying to discredit or lessen our concerns. Scott then took action and followed up on our concerns, while connecting us with our sales adviser - Isaac. Isaac assisted us in… looking at all of the options in trucks on the lot and was most courteous while we looked. Isaac found 2 possible choices for us, and coordinated test drives of both. While we were test driving, Scott was working with his team to determine if a trade-in was possible. Once we found the truck we wanted, Isaac, Scott, and Cotton worked together to put a deal together we felt was fair (our trade-in, purchased at the same dealership in March 2023, was experiencing recurrent transmission issues, which resulted in us not having the truck for over 2 months, and stranded us in California, even after it was repaired). PJ in finance finished the process by quickly and efficiently completing the paperwork (we paid cash), and handed us back off to Isaac, who completed the delivery of the new truck. We are very satisfied with Vandergriff Chevrolet, and feel they listened to us, and worked with us to remedy what we felt was a very bad situation. We have been loyal Chevrolet and Vandergriff customers since we purchased our first Silverado from them in 2015, and will continue to be loyal customers.2019 Silverado

I have had bad experience with you all not connecting things back after working on my vehicle, this last incident the mechanic removed bolts to so call change my… transmission fluid which I still think it wasn’t done, and he didn’t replace all the bolts on the shield I have to prevent catalytic converter from being cut, and then tried to say it was like that when I showed up. I installed the catalytic converter shield myself and those bolts were there and you need a special tool to remove them. But, instead of asking me for the tool he tried to remove them and I’m guessing stripped them and cut them off. I will never use this dealership for service and I will let all my Veterans friends and patients at the VA hospital know that your service department can’t be trusted and my experiences.We are sincerely sorry to hear about your negative service experience. Ethical Service Expected
by Mambicamio on 02/04/2021First of all, I would like to begin by stating that the service was not a nightmare in terms of damage to my vehicle after the tire rotation. This is the only thing that makes me dread the maintenance appointment. I have had terrible… experiences with other dealerships of other makes that damage my wheels with the tire rotation. I have had to have my wheels repaired due to the extent of the damage. Now, with my Chevrolet dealership, the service was (almost) perfect. I wash the exterior of my Tahoe by hand so I know what cosmetic defects it has. I only noticed a small scratch near a lug nut entrance. My Tahoe had the tires rotated. Nonetheless, the correct tool and size were used on my vehicle. I appreciate that very much even though this is something I shouldn't have to acknowledge. I saw that another customer took in a very expensive looking Corvette for service while I was there. Please, I expect my Tahoe to be treated with the same meticulous care as a Corvette and/or their own vehicle. The way I take in my vehicle should be how I am delivered my vehicle after the service is completed. Again, I should not reiterate this request because Chevrolet should abide by its ethical standards at all times with all of its clients.Hello Mambicamio, thank you for your feedback.
