On a Tuesday and a Thursday, I had two visits, one for a state inspection, one for a repair. Both visits went well. For the second, I used the shuttle service. Work was done efficiently. The shuttle service was excellent.

It now becomes customers word vs… dealership/salesman’s it’s marked on the bill of sale under additional items but yet a hassle to proveOil change and tire rotation

But this was the second time the mechanic didn't put the sticker on the… windshield. The service representative ended up putting once one when I complained. He was easy to deal with."They DON'T stand behind what they sell!"
by Ken G on 07/07/2020Be very cautious!! I purchased a used 2015 GMC Sierra from Hurd in February. In May (only 2200 miles later) I had the first opportunity to use the AC and found it did not work. I immediately brought the vehicle in and was informed that it… needed a new condenser and would cost close to $1000 for the job. They sold me a vehicle with a broken air conditioner and refuse to stand behind it! Who uses AC in 30 degree weather! I have purchased from Hurd in the past and considered them to be an excellent dealership however after this experience I warn you, Hurd has changed and cannot be trusted! by synoptic12 on 12/11/2014Hurd Auto Mall is a dealership that uses deception as a tool to deceive the unsuspecting. Brought my vehicle in to have a diagnostic test performed to determine an after ignition problem. To begin, to plug in to the OBD I and to read the… codes are a matter of minutes. After forty-five minutes, I inquired as to what had transpired. Customer service said it would be ready shortly. Nearly thirty minutes later, the 'mechanic' drove the car near the service desk. I asked the 'mechanic' what were the results. He mentioned the carburetor as needing repair. As I entered my vehicle, I noticed the (SES) 'Service Engine Soon Light' activated (being lit). I brought this to his attention stating that the SES light was not on upon bringing my vehicle in. He said he could not fix that. Moving to the service desk, I spoke with the Service Manager, whom tried to snow me stating, " My carburetor needed rebuilding; specifically mentioning the metering rods. However, we had the carburetor rebuilt by a certified dealership just two months prior. I moved to the cashier and demanded my money back, as the money was quickly credited back to my bank card. Now I had to contend with the (SES) which was the fault of a Hurd mechanic which had limited knowledge. Returned to previous dealership to diagnosis the issue with the (SES) light. The problem was found and the cost was around $175.00. There was nothing wrong with the carburetor as Hurd stated and wrote in the repair estimate. I asked Hurd Auto Mall to be reimbursed for the problem they caused. I had a three way conversation with Chris Hurd, the service adviser, and apparently a woman. When the conversation was complete, Hurd refused to provide the money for the damage they caused, rather offering me coupons for service in the future at Hurd. I refused and started litigation. To sum this up, I won the decision in the lower court, whereas the service manager could not even comprehend a schematic diagram. This decision was appealed by Hurd in Superior Court as I moved to challenge the appeal. After numerous motions, a lengthy amount of filing documents, and paperwork, this came to the floor nearly five years later. Hurd Auto Mall decided to pay the fees rather than to seek a trial. By the way, my vehicle is a show vehicle, being the lead vehicle in the motorcade: Oldsmobile 100th Anniversary Celebration in Lansing, Michigan in 1997. The people at the service counter were extremely friendly and able to explain to me about all the… services that they had performed on my vehicle. My service advisor, Bob Machado, took all my information, gave me an estimate for the time involved and the approximate cost. My car… was fixed within the time allowed and there were no surprises on my bill. They get five stars from me.Not honest.

We were not asked to confirm the ridiculously high interest rate on the loan (9.9% - we don't have bad credit). They lied… blatantly on the phone about why they could not deliver the car on time. They are trying to get out of delivery - one of our conditions of purchase. Take a lesson from us - stay away.my new Chevy Malibu! 5 stars

They just wanted to make the sale and get rid of me. After I discovered the problem, they made me… schedule an appointment to get it fixed. I had to wait nearly 2 hours to have the camera connected. Very sloppy in how they handle a new truck delivery and how they handle a dissatisfied customer.Hello John, We are so sorry for the inconvenience. Please accept our sincere apology. About our dealership
We called to say the deal was off. The car was delivered within a few hours. Just the car. No keys, no title, no contract. Nothing. They did not even say a word, just left the car in the driveway. They are not returning my calls. Draw your own conclusions about using this dealership.
