  • Service of 2015 Sonata

5 out of 5 starsby Larry on 04/01/2019

The service advisers are friendly and knowledgeable and they work hard to get my car serviced within the time frame they request from me.
  • Excellent customer service

5 out of 5 starsby PG on 03/28/2019

Excellent customer service. I had an issue with my bank which prevented me from paying my invoice so they offered me a loaner car for free while I resolved the issue.
  • Douglas

    Very professional and courteous workers
  • Sante Fe service

4 out of 5 starsby Douglas on 03/26/2019

Quality work for my 90,000 mile service, factory recall and alignment. Big free loaner and finished as promised - Stephen did a great job. One of the issues I had in the past was not having a loaner for work taking all day. This was a problem for me and once in the past they sent me over to Enterprise which was a huge time waster. Having the loaner for anything taking over a couple of hours will keep my service business with Beaverton Hyundai.

Had a very pleasant experience with Hamid, Jake, and Tarek. All very knowledgeable, patient, and not at all pushy.
  • Terrible sales team

1 out of 5 starsby Terribleh on 04/20/2018

Hyundai was holding a promotion and my local Beaverton Hyundai location decided to not obligate it. They ended the promotion many days prior to the end date and declined to obligate my coupon. Don't participate in a promotion campaign if you won't follow guidelines set forth. It's that simple. By not participating, I wouldn't have wasted my time or yours to speak to one another just to find out you won't follow the specifics.. Thank goodness I'm a Japanese fan. Good luck to yall.. Many people including I are slickdealers. All other cars but Hyundai. KIA is even better.
  • Wanted to buy but car was sold while we paid

1 out of 5 starsby Jakedbq on 03/26/2018

We found a great deal on a Tesla Model X. I contacted the dealership and they still had it! So we filled out the online application. I informed them of the amount we wanted to put down. They called Friday with the preliminary terms through Hyundai financing. Being so close to banks closing in the central time zone I asked if we could continue the sale Monday but were told it may not be available then, tomorrow actually as I write this. So we asked about using alternative methods which the confirmed they did do. We were asked by a manager and sales person paul schmitchel if we were ready to move forward. By Sunday morning Pacific time we were. We made our first larger payment of $9000 and the process went through. We then gave information for the second payment but didn’t hear back right away. We were told by Paul they were assisting another customer and he would get back to us ASAP. We were fine with that. We were then told that the car was sold to someone locally by the same sales person. So not only was our credit run but we didn’t even get the car we wanted and were in the process of buying. This saleperson in particular had piss poor service and if this is the norm I would not buy from them. Despite doing everything on our end and even paying for our downpayment we were cheated.
  • Salesman

Our salesman Hamid Jafarian was great to work with. He listened to what I was looking for and found me a great deal. I'm very happy with my 2017 Tucson SUV.
  • One happy customer

    5 out of 5 starsby SonataPlugIn16 on 04/01/2016

Beaverton Hyundai provided an excellent sales experience. They explained my car's features well, provided a long test drive, applied no pressure, and agreed to a reasonable price. I am very happy with my new car, a Sonata plug-in hybrid and would recommend it to others.
  • Exceptional Service Center

    5 out of 5 starsby gluteus2 on 01/18/2015

This is without question the best service center I have experienced and, as a result, felt compelled to write this review. It is the trust and honesty, unfortunately rare in this business, that I am most pleased with. I have dealt mostly with Dan and Brandon and would recommend them as the go-to guys. I have found that any concerns or problems I have are addressed without any pushback or obfuscation. I obviously highly recommend this service center especially if you have had the quintessential bad car experience.
  • Best selection and very helpful

I had been browsing new car inventory for a few weeks before I had made a decision to purchase a Hyundai. I decided to use my Costco membership to get access to the Costco auto buying program. Shortly after I sent my information I received a phone call from Beaverton Hyundai regarding the vehicle I was looking for. They answered all my questions and told me to come down when I had a moment so I could see the actual invoice for the vehicle and what my Costco price would be. I met with Mike later that week and we test drove the exact vehicle I was interested in. It was Pacific Blue Pearl with Tan interior. He showed me the invoice and the costco member price with the specifications of the vehicle attached so I could share it with my husband. A fwe days later we made the purchase of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata Turbo Limited in the exact color and trim I wanted. The process was easy, we received great financing, were able to purchase an extended warranty that WE wanted and have no regrets. I am glad that the employees at Beaverton hyundai took the time to make us feel comfortable throughout the process. There were moments when I became stressed about the financing and getting the lowest rate available. It was not a problem after all!! Tarek, the finance manager too very good care of us and was helpful when I found an error on my paperwork. When it comes to inventory selection, financing, and service, I recommend Beaverton Hyundai to all who are considering making a new car purchase. If you are a Costco member you should use their program! I got a $50.00 gift certificate to use on anything in the service department. I love my Sonata!!
  • Great place to buy a new Hyundai

5 out of 5 starsby thescoot on 08/11/2010

Really enjoyed doing business with Beaverton Hyundai. They made the new car buying process very easy. My salesman Brad was a real gentleman. I never felt pressured and Brad did all he could to match a new car to my needs. The facility itself is very clean and comfortable. The cars are neatly displayed and not all strewn out like some dealers. Another nice thing about Beaverton Hyundai is that you don't get bounced around from person to person. My salesman Brad handled just about the entire transaction. I did speak to the finance manager Tarik who was also was very pleasant to deal with. Before I left Beaverton Hyundai they cleaned my new Tucson, filled it with a full tank of gas, and made sure that I understood the features. I left the sales lot feeling good about Beaverton Hyundai and my new Hyundai Tucson.
  • Very Pleasant Buying Experience

I would recommend Beaverton Hyundai to anyone in market. It had been some time since we bought our last car and things have changed since our last purchase. We did our research online and put Hyundai at the top our list. We browsed Beaverton Hyundai's online inventory and then stopped in for a visit. We were Greeted by a professional Sales staff that took the time to understand our needs. We found he perfect car for our family - Thanks Again Beaverton Hyundai.
  • These guys are bullies

    2.2 out of 5 starsby kmills1025 on 07/30/2009

I have dealt with many dealerships in the past and these guys are among the shadiest I've seen. They will work any angle to get you to purchase the extended warranty and other products. We heard everything from "Your new car warranty only covers the transmission" to "if you don't purchase the warranty the bank will not give you this loan". The first comment is a lie and the second is illegal. We will be reporting this dealership to the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General's office and the Fair Trade Commission. These guys are a prime example of why people do not like car dealerships.
  • No More Jiffy Lube For Me

    5 out of 5 starsby happybuyer5 on 06/24/2008

I made the mistake of taking my wife's 2006 Azera to Jiffy Lube for a "quick and convenient" oil change 3 months ago. Yesterday, I took it to Beaverton Hyundai; they were just as quick to complete the job (even though Jiffy Lube is closer to where we live). The Service Manager at Beaverton Hyundai however, noticed that Jiffy Lube forgot to change the "O" on the oil filter, resulting in a substantial amount of oil on top of the engine block. Not only did they correct the problem, but they also thoroughly cleaned the engine and washed the car. NO MORE JIFFY LUBE FOR ME!
  • Buyer Beware - Beaverton Hyundai is not Being Honest

    1.3 out of 5 starsby emilio99 on 06/21/2008

Be sure to use a mortgage calculator before you sign the final contract at Beaverton Hyundai. Tonight, June 21, 2008, they tried to switch my loan terms without telling me. We reached a final agreement which was for a $17K loan at 6.9% interest for 6 years, but when it came to sign the contract the payment amount was $323 per month which when I checked was actually $19K per month at 6.9% for 6 years. They tried to tell me that my calculations were wrong but I tripple checked and they were not. I just double checked again when I got home with the online amortization calculators and I got the same $289 per month and not the $323/mo they were asking. I asked them to honor our original agreement which was actually sketched in writing but they refused, insisting that I was wrong. The math is simple and it doesn't lie. In the end, I had to leave since they sheepishly and surreptitiously, and perhaps even fraudulently, altered the terms of the loan without my knowledge. If I were not a finance major, which is the case with most buyers, I would have never caught the sneak fraud attempt. I'm really surprised and disgusted with the blatant lies at Beaverton Hyundai. I will now file a formal complaint with the BBB, the FTC and the Attorney General. Buyer Beware - Beaverton Huyndai is not being honest.
  • Beware of the bull

1.5 out of 5 starsby alenchan on 06/13/2008

The guys here (at least the sales guys i met) are exactly the ones you dont want to meet when you are trying to buy a car. They will confuse you and push you to buy the vehicle. The guy i met even got the papers ready, wrote his own amount and asked me to sign it without me giving him any indication that i would like to buy! Be prepared to tell them to backoff. Better still, look elsewhere.
  • "DEALERSHIP" SKEPTIC TURNED OPTIMIST

    5 out of 5 starsby pdunn1 on 05/09/2008

As a first time new car owner, I have very little experience with service facilities other than that of my local jiffy lube which leaves a lot to be desired under the column of true customer service. Due to this lack of exposure, I have very little to gauge against other that of the horror stories that I have heard of overpriced, unscrupulous dealerships preying on new vehicle owners hanging the fear of "losing our warranty" over our heads, (as if diving into a 5 year financial relationship with a vehicle isn't enough to be afraid of). And as I am typically not one to waste my time ballooning the head of the corporate man, I must tell you about the surprisingly satisfying relationship I have established with the Beaverton Hyundai service department. I have found a level of trust and service with this company that I can equate with no other retail experience I have ever had. The staff has found a way to take care of me and my vehicle in such a way that I will never trust another shop with my vehicle as long as I am in the portland area, even if I trade out of my Hyundai (which I currently happen to love). Simply put, Beaverton Hyundai service department truly seems to know the meaning of "customer service", and I would recommend any one who has that fear of "the dealership devil", to this one who has found a way to rise above the rest.
  • Excellent experience . . . again!

    5 out of 5 starsby happybuyer5 on 05/09/2008

As a repeat customer, I had another excellent experience at Beaverton Hyundai. I was looking for an SUV and decided on the Santa Fe. The dealership's inventory was fantastic; and they even volunteered to search other dealerships to find a model with all of the features I wanted. Fortunately, they had the perfect match in their own inventory. I drove out with my new Santa Fe in less than two hours; the vehicle was perfectly detailed, filled with gas, and I was shown how all of the features worked (XM Radio; AWD options; power seat controls; etc.). My wife and I can't wait for the new Genesis to come out!
  • Poor Dealership, Sales and Service

3 out of 5 starsby terradon on 04/02/2008

We bought a Hyundai Elantra from Beaverton Hyundai. At the end of the buying, they changed the interest rate to a higher rate without telling us that they did it from the agreement that we made, which we found out at the signing of the contract. Our agreement was that we would get Alloy Rims with the car instead of the plastic ones. This also wasn't listed in the contract when we went to sign it and we had to have them add this. We went to our appointment to have our tires put on, there were no tires for us and they informed us that they didn't know when they were going to get tires and what did we want them to do about it. Secondly, the tags were to be covered by them and they told me that they were at the front desk waiting. There were no tags or plates waiting as the lady had told me the day before. I would not buy with them. They don't follow through on their obligations once the money has crossed hands.
    • Interesting, I had the same thing happen to me. They changed the terms of the loan without informing me. Personally, I think they are committing fraud and possibly other crimes. Someone needs to look into this as they are probably doing it to other customers as well.
