Beaverton Hyundai
Dealership Sales Review
Be sure to use a mortgage calculator before you sign the final contract at Beaverton Hyundai. Tonight, June 21, 2008, they tried to switch my loan terms without telling me. We reached a final agreement which was for a $17K loan at 6.9% interest for 6 years, but when it came to sign the contract the payment amount was $323 per month which when I checked was actually $19K per month at 6.9% for 6 years. They tried to tell me that my calculations were wrong but I tripple checked and they were not. I just double checked again when I got home with the online amortization calculators and I got the same $289 per month and not the $323/mo they were asking. I asked them to honor our original agreement which was actually sketched in writing but they refused, insisting that I was wrong. The math is simple and it doesn't lie. In the end, I had to leave since they sheepishly and surreptitiously, and perhaps even fraudulently, altered the terms of the loan without my knowledge. If I were not a finance major, which is the case with most buyers, I would have never caught the sneak fraud attempt. I'm really surprised and disgusted with the blatant lies at Beaverton Hyundai. I will now file a formal complaint with the BBB, the FTC and the Attorney General. Buyer Beware - Beaverton Huyndai is not being honest.
