by rog402436 on 12/20/2016I purchased 2014 Kia Cadenza from Jeff Wyler Eastgate. The car was advertised as the Limited edition with just over 17,000 miles. In fact the car had done nearly 20,000 miles. After 4 hours in the dealership, we completed the deal. The day… after I was in the car with the owners manual looking to set the Info system, Radio, etc and noticed that some of the options that were included on the Limited Edition were missing. On further inspection, the Technology Package that is standard on the Limited Edition was missing. I then realized that Jeff Wyler had not sold me the car as was advertised. They had sold me a base model with a Luxury Package. I returned to the dealership the next day and told them they had sold me the wrong car. The sales manager went into the office and said he'd "look in to it." After 40 minutes of waiting, I went into the office to find out what was going on. I was told that they were trying to verify the standard features on the Limited model. They tried to tell me that the Limited didn't come with the Technology Package. I insisted it did. They said they couldn't find any information from the Kia web site that proved this, so they would have to contact Kia the next day. After I left the dealership, I went home and got on the Internet and within 5 minutes found on the Kia site, the list of features contained on a 2014 Kia Cadenza Limited. It showed it was fully loaded with all options. So why couldn't two experienced car salesman find the same thing? Why didn't they just call the Jeff Wyler Kia dealer located on the same site? I then emailed the sales manager with what I found. The next day, I got a call saying that I was correct and that they would take the car back. I called the dealership and spoke with the original salesman. I said that I liked the car and would be prepared to keep it, but expect some compensation for the missing options. According to Edmunds.com the value of the Technology Package on a 2014 Kia Cadenza is over $1000. I accepted the dealerships offer of $300. The sales manager confirmed he had the authority to cut a check for $300. I then send an email to the sales manager confirming the agreement and the address where I wanted the check sent. Of course, I didn't receive the check and they are not returning my calls. Jeff Wyler misrepresented the car and it's mileage and didn't keep their promise. I suppose the old adage of "How can you tell if a car salesman is lying - his lips are moving" is alive and well at Jeff Wyler.Fab Buying Experience!

I had the best salesman ever, Casey Jones at the Chevy dealer at Jeff Wyler. He was… friendly, knowledgeable, understanding, patient, and personable. by BobBobBob on 12/06/2016On the morning of December 5, 2016, my wife and I came to Jeff Wyler Eastgate to obtain pricing on a Dodge Ram 1500 truck. We toured their lot and did not find the truck built as we wanted. We went inside and were met by a young lady… sales assistant who was obviously very new at her job, but that was not a problem. We explained to her what we wanted and then gave her a build sheet containing all our desired packages and options. She took the build sheet to here manager and we waited. And waited. After 15+ minutes we saw her coming in from outside the building. When she returned to us she had a price breakout of a truck that was priced approximately $3,000 more than what we wanted to buy. In other words, this truck was nothing like what we wanted. She very politely apologized and explained that her manager wanted to sell us this truck. Again, not anything like what we wanted. We gave her back our build sheet containing our desired packages and options and asked her to please take these specifications to her manager for pricing. She did that, and within two minutes returned with our build sheet in-hand and said words to the effect "he doesn't want to build this truck for you." The duty manager on the morning of December 5 refused to give us a price quote on the truck we wanted to buy! I guess he essentially was asking us to vacate the premises! I was not so much mad as I was dumbfounded! Flabbergasted! I've never seen such atrociously bad business behavior before. I believe I'm the customer here, and I'm trying to buy a truck. Jeff Wyler Eastgate sells trucks. Or maybe they don't. What kind of person is a manager who will not allow a sales person to assist a customer who is trying to buy one of their vehicles? If I, as a potential customer, received treatment like this, I can only imagine how a customer would be treated AFTER Jeff Wyler takes your money! No, I will never do business with any Jeff Wyler Auto Group again, and certainly neither should you. Buyer beware!We are very sorry for the miscommunication that may have occurred when you visited our dealership. We looked into the situation and we feel that our people could have explained things to you in a better manner. Please note that we will do the best we can to learn from this and we will try to prevent this type of situation from occurring in the future.

by optimaforb on 12/06/2016Sales Person, Ken Wallace was the only reason I bought the car from this Dealer. Ken was awesome to work with and the below review is not about him, rather the dealer and sales manager. The Sales Manager Chris would not listen to the… customer. I decided on the car I wanted at the price I wanted at the end of the month and signed the papers. Told them as the car had not been PDI'd as yet, I would pick it up the next day so they could do a good job at getting it ready for delivery. Chris said no I MUST drive it off the lot that night. This was at 8:15 p.m. and they did a sloppy job at getting the car ready, plastic not removed, windows not cleaned and they did not dry the car so it was very streaky and they did not put on a Front License Plate bracket. The person working on detailing the car and who gave me the keys reeked of Smoke (just what you want in a new car) and I had to rush to clean my old car out and ended up leaving something sentimental to my wife in the car and they pitched it. If I could have taken delivery the next day, this would not have happened as I could have seen the item in the daylight. I ended up having to take it back 2 days later to have the dealer re-do the detailing to do it right and put on license plate brackets.(more time out of my schedule). Even then I still had to pull plastic from the visors and other parts of the cars interior. This was the first time I have bought from Jeff Wyler, and most likely will be the last. A shame since the Eastgate Automall is so convenient for me. They really should do a better job at delivery of a new car and also listen to the customers desires.We are very sorry for what happened when you bought your vehicle. You are right, we should have let you come back and take delivery and we should have had the vehicle properly prepared for you. We will do our best to keep this from happening again.
