First Class Mechanics

Jason, the Master Mechanic is one of the most caring people I've ever come across. He will… research a concern if he needs to in order to fix a problem. They deliver the car when promised and deliver it clean. I can't say enough about this dealership & service.Thank you for your review. The Hyundai warranty is top notch with 5 yrs. 60,000 miles. No other… car manufacturer comes close. That means they don't have much faith in their products. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

Just when I had lost all respect and how I went to Johnson Hyundai of Cary and I was amazed that such a place existed after our experience. They not… only put my daughter in a car that was exactly what she wanted but also provided her with a great warranty, 2 year maintenance service and the customer service was phenomenal! They took away all the stress, doubt and worry. I have already recommended this dealership to others.BJ, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. From start to finish I felt welcomed as if we were all already friends. The salesmen were not pushy and actually took… time to get to know me and my preferences in order to better serve me. This dealership comes with my highest recommendation and I got a great deal!Don't go there!

They were closest to us so convenient but I would never buy anything from these… [non-permissible content removed].They actually offered to "discount" $30 off the price they offered for a Sonata Hybrid.Their best price was $1300 more than what we ended up paying out the door at Southern States on Wake Forest Road.So with taxes,tag title more like $2500.Just say no to Johnson.The folks at Southern States were easy to work with and very professional.Joe Smith in sales took very good care of us.EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE
by rich27514 on 09/17/2010I simply cannot find enough superlatives to describe my experiences at this service department. The staff is friendly, courteous, and competent to a high level. Problems have been taken care of without difficulty, and I have received a… service loaner whenever I have requested one. My Sonata is a new design and unfortunately has had more first year problems than I would have liked. But the service inspires trust and confidence to the degree that I am willing to work through the problems. I would buy another Hyundai or Subaru, the other car the dealer sells, because I would want to remain under the care of this service department.Best Service

They have a guarantee that they will give you the best price in the Triangle on a new… Hyundai before or after the sale. It was a great experience all the way around. We will be using them for service too. Highly recommend.Not the place to go
by dsw2 on 03/26/2010Johnson Hyundai is not the dealership to visit if you want a serious deal on a new Hyundai. I was just there yesterday and the offer they made me for my 2009 trade in was an insult. They offered me thousands less for my car than I would… ever dream of considering. The experience did teach me a very valuable lesson. This dealership is in it for their own bottom line and not for any kind of serious negotiation. All I can surmise is that in spite of their autos being top sellers, they must have to make so much money to cover their overhead that they don't care about giving the customer a fair deal. If all you care about is buying a new Hyundai and don't care if you are treated in a respectful manner or how much the deal will cost you, then this may be the place for you to shop. But if you are like me and want a fair deal with a reasonable price, then this is definitely not the place to shop.They can't guarantee the lowest price if they don't mean it. I almost didn't go to the dealership because of this review but I am so glad I did. I price shopped and Johnson had the "lowest price guaruantee" on any new Hyundai in the triangle and was true to their word. They gave me the best price and had the best sales people and nicest building...and I got a great deal.
Absolutley true my friend.. horrible place to go, a waste of time. Had same if not worse experience today. They told us well, you can leave the place right now, we dont need your business.... unbeleavable unprofessional

by sibil on 05/29/2011updated 05/29/2025We stayed there for 3 long hours just to be told what the monthly payment would be, they refused to tell, me before I filled out tons of paperwork and on the end, they only offered me a 1000 dollars for a car in real good shape that runs… fine!!!!! Very very rude and unprofessional sales person!!! NO negotiating at all from sticker price as well!!!!!!!! Prices not lower then anybody elses...... Never again there!!Good Dealer - Satisfied Customer

There was no such procedure at Johnson when I bought my Hyundai there no checking with the manager loops either. The… pricing was clear and in line with estimates I had previously gotten from Edmunds and internet searches for both my new car and my trade-in. I am a woman, but I was certainly not treated like the proverbial female car shopper. After closing the deal I was introduced to people in the service department and felt just as positive about them. I appreciated everyone I met and dealt with that day. Great experience! I am happy with my new car and would buy another one from this dealer anytime.Best Experience!

The Johnson Hyundai dealership never pressured me in any way and were extremely accommodating when it came to viewing the inventory and answering all my questions.… I have already recommended this dealership to family and friends. The entire process could not have been any easier or simpler. It was the fastest purchase I have ever been a part of from start to finish. I absolutely love my 2011 Genesis 4.6. After spending several weeks researching various new car models and obtaining competitive quotes from area dealers, I thought I'd try and keep my money in… town by giving Johnson Hyundai the last shot at winning my business by at least meeting the best quote I had received from other dealerships. I called the dealership and very clearly provided the salesperson details on the other quotes I had received. After a few exchanged telephone calls within a 15 minute time frame, the sales manager on duty had agreed that they'd match the other dealer pricing and they wanted to earn my business. The next day, I traveled to the dealership to complete the purchase and was troubled to find the sales price now being offered was significantly higher than the pricing agreed to less than 24 hours earlier. Despite my attempts to seek an answer from the sales manager as to why the dealership would not honor their original sales quote, he surprised me further by walking away from the sales table with out any explanation. If Johnson Hyundai ownership reads this post, perhaps you may wish to save the hundreds of thousands of dollars spent annually on marketing, and reallocate these dollars towards honesty and ethics training for your sales management teams.Same old car salesman techniques
by poorracer on 12/15/2013updated 05/29/2025I went to test drive some Hyundai vehicles I was looking to buy. Had a pleasant experience during the visits to do the test drives. Since they spent time with me to explain the car and take me on test drives, I thought it was fair to give… them the first chance to sell the car to me. I was even willing to pay 100-200 extra if it comes to that to compensate for the extra time they spent with me (I test drove the vehicle I was looking to buy twice). But ultimately when I visited the dealership to buy the car, the same old sales tactics were played. BTW... I already had a email quote from the internet sales person from that dealership and I had told her the name of the sales person I met when I was at the dealership etc. and the sales person was aware of the internet quote also. As soon as I entered the dealership and started the price negotiation, I told the sales person what the OTD price I am looking for and an email quote I already had from another local dealership. With the traditional 'let me talk to my manager' technique to pull you up $50 at a time, ultimately we agreed to a number that was $230 higher than my original offer. At that time, I kind of wanted to look at the car with a different interior. They bring me a car without a $950 package and said this is what we negotiated the price for. If this quote was for the car without the $950 package, it was higher than the price I got in email (if we take the package off of it). They must be thinking I am out of my mind to negotiate a higher price than what I already got in email. When I showed the email quote from them that clearly shows that the package was included, then the salesman says, that quote assumed that I qualify for 'ALL' hyundai discounts that were available at that time. Apart from the $1500 customer incentive hyundai had at this time, I did qualify for 'competitor owner discount' and was financing the car through them. But they said the email price quote is assuming I would qualify for the military and student discounts also ($500 each). Within 5 mins, I was out of that dealership and drove straight to the dealership where I bought the car that evening. If you do go to this dealership, be absolutely clear on the car and packages you are negotiating the price for. See the car first and keep it in front of you while you negotiate the price. In my case, I asked for the price of the car I test drove (which had the $950 package). But the sales person suddenly made a u-turn and said that was for the base model. So... beware. Ravi
