    I went in with a fair credit score and a decent down payment and Gio Mazzone and the team at Lia Toyota did everything they could to get me a reasonable loan and payment and I got the exact car I wanted. I will continue to buy cars from The Lia auto group forever.

    I had a great experience when purchasing my Prius Prime. I wasn't going to purchase I was just there to test drive a Rav4. then I drove the Prius Prime and chose to make the purchase right then. Jason Stores was great - he knew so much about the car and was quick to answer all of my questions.questions.

    Lia Toyota is awesome. My sales person Michelina Dimatteo was very easy to deal with. Service department is top notch. Overall. I test drove several vehicles (tundra, Tacoma, Camry). They are all great vehicles.

    This was my first purchase @ Lia Toyota. I was very pleased with all the help from Josh Cornwell. Josh was patient and attentive. He got me the truck I wanted and didn't try to push me into buying something I didn't want. I will definitely go to Lia for future purchases. DK

    my first time visiting Lia Toyota of Colonie I was very impressed by the setup, fast service, awesome customer service. Art Palazzolo was very friendly and made me feel at home there, he explained everything and answered questions that I had.

    My name is Tj Serson. I visited Lia Toyota yesterday to test drive a 2018 Chr. Tom Pottenburgh is the salesperson I dealt with. This man shouldnt be selling vehicles. The test drive was awful he knew nothing about the car I would ask a question and kept being told “I dont know, but I can find that out” and was never told anything. I felt as if I couldnt even get a great feel for the vehicle because I was rushed. I wanted to take a look at how everything worked, yet instead it was just a 5 minute test drive with a clueless person. Next I would like to address that I am currently a Lia customer I purchased lease at Lia Honda. After going for the test drive I wanted to get some numbers. I didnt even get numbers. Instead I was told when I have money to come back. This really was the worst experience of my life. My lease is ending soon and all I wanted was to explore my options and was told to screw off. I will be making sure my view point of this dealership goes viral. Maybe you will enforce your sales people to treat customer with respect, and not to focus on what they look like instead making sure they like the car and see what ways we could move forward.

    We purchased a 2017 Sienna van. Vincent Nyugen was our sales agent and he made the experience great! He was very knowledgeable and was very nice. The price we paid was excellent and the attention to detail throughout the process was wonderful. I would highly recommend the dealership and Vince!

    I recently did a 5000 mile oil change service at Lia Toyota Colonie. Robyn Ashley took my car into the shop. It was a busy morning, but Robyn was able to get my car done rather quickly (a little over half an hour). Then she explained a few items that we might need to check on in the next service time. Everything looked good. People there were polite. The waiting area was nice too. Overall it was a great service. I appreciate that. Thanks to Robyn and the mechanic.

    Be very careful if getting service work done at this place. Typical switch and bait situation. I called ahead asking for the 40k service which is primarily tire rotation, oil and filter change. I had a family member take the vehicle in and they dropped in the extra services that were not requested. Of course, they blamed the person making the appointment as well as their own systems first that the clarity wasn't there of what I had wanted. My family member confirmed in person that all that was needed to be done was the 40k service. So, what's the bait and switch? Well, their own website lists 40k service quite plainly to match up with the Toyota manufacturer's recommendation. THEIR in-person brochure lists a bunch of extras which they claim is the recommended. Since I had turned down their extras at the previous service, they decided to re-add these services at this service. Ironically, they only performed the previous service that I did not request (essentially, the one that costs more) and disregarded the cheapo service work of a cabin air filter change. So of course, they proceeded with their brochure recommendation. I now get why people refer to these people as stealerships. Their general manager (Donato Benevento) was of no help who simply accepted that their technician was right and that he would side with his team member vs. believing a customer. There was absolutely ZERO attempt to make anything right. If you're reading this Mr. Benevento, while you may have attempted to act professional, you failed miserably in this department. Simply saying that there's no point in continuing the conversation since it's not going anywhere doesn't mean that you're in the "right". Your bait and switch program may be what's "standard" at your place but you've lost any future business from me as well as others that may be discouraged of working with your facility. Ironically, YOUR facility was actually not even the closest facility for me but I thought I could trust your location since I've had work performed there in the past. What a big mistake that turned out to be. There's more to the screw ups at Lia Toyota that I won't go into further since the theme/outcome is the same.

  • Toyota Svc Keeps Improving

    I am writing this review as requested at the dealership, but I would have been honest if service had been poor. I feel like the svc at this dealership has improved greatly since our first visit and would recommend them now to anyone. I was greeted warmly, well advised, dealt with fairly, and paid the price that I was quoted. I even suggested that I might need a service which Gerald Foti kindly denied me, saying that my vehicle truly did not need it yet. I was grateful that he didn't just do what I suggested to make a sale. I was in and out earlier than I expected to be in the time frame promised. We will likely stay with Toyota in the future because of service like this and employees like Gerald Foti.

    We purchased a new Camry from Lia last week and were very satisfied with the customer service we received. One of the reasons we purchased from Lia was their willingness to let us test drive as many vehicles as we requested until we chose the one we liked. Our salesperson was Mr. Richard Rovazzini and he treated us really well and helped us with all the paperwork and insurance. He helped us tremendously with our decision. I highly recommend him on your next Toyota vehicle purchase!

    Went in for a basic oil change recently and wouldn't normally go to the trouble of writing a review, but must say I was quite impressed with the care Robyn Ashley took with my visit. Overall there was a new and improved feeling at Lia in terms of their attention to the customer. It's always been quite good, but it feels like they've ramped it up a bit more at the service center. Would give it 5 stars, but also needed an estimate from the auto body shop for a small issue. Their "estimating system" was down and I was told to "come back tomorrow." It just seems like they could at least have taken a look at my fender issue and offered friendly advice.
