The warm atmosphere and friendly interactions with their staff was very memorable. The best part of the experience with DCH was dealing… with Khalil. This mans professionalism, knowledge, integrity and sense of humor eased the entire process. Not once did we feel pressured to buy anything or felt that we were pains in the neck asking so many questions. When the time comes to purchase another vehicle we really hope to deal with him again! DCH and Khalil both provided a wonderful car purchasing experience! I would highly recommend dealing with them if you are in the market for new or used vehicles. by nick_metro on 08/16/2010My experience with DCH Academy Honda was not bad, more of a middle of the road dealership in my opinion. There first offer was way off the charts so it took me awhile to get them down to a realistic price on an Odyssey. They will try and… wear you down, make you wait forever while your salesmen goes back and forth to speak to the "finance manager". You need to make sure you are armed with all of the facts and do your homework before hand. Shop around, DCH Academy will compete once they realize you have done your homework. I was trading in my 08 Odyssey with very low mileage. They low-balled me on the trade and claimed the trade in had tire issues etc. Went to another dealership who beat their price and gave me the correct equity on the trade.never again
by ivanna on 11/24/2009... they offered an 8-9% ... 1.9 was available...and was given at competitor... they basically represented the view.. many of us have .. of the slick car sales man/finance manager... went to another dealer.. got a better price on a… Honda LX over the DX this dealership was offering.. between the seedy financing.. and the customer service.. which included one manager would not even discuss a sale without .. a financial disclosure.. I definitely recommend a trip down the road..I'm sorry to hear about the unpleasant experience you had at DCH Academy Honda.We are committed to providing high quality customer service and based on your comments you did not share that experience. by 5649fm on 08/14/2009The overall buying experience was pleasant and easy; and they honored the internet quote. Internet sales Lauren Miglia provided a detail cost breakdown to the dot. Salesperson Mr. Erich Tam has alrealdy prepared all the paper work before… I walked into the dealship. We did the cash for clunker deal, we left 3 hours later with our Odyssey. I was very pleased with Mr. Tam took time to show us how to operate the Odyssey while other customers were waiting; after all, the Odyssey has more buttons that a small plane!Thank you for your purchase of a new Odyssey from DCH Academy Honda. by hssn on 07/25/2009I recently bought A certified car from them and and car's interior was broken and dealer said they will fix it within 8 days and its more than 1 month and my car is not fix yet.They dont care about customers .They hangup phone lots of… time.They really dont care about you after they sell their cars.I will never recommend them.Never Ever.Trust Me.I am wondering what type of certified car they have.Honest, upfront and no pressure

After a few bad experiences I decided to purchase my vehicle from DCH Academy Honda on Route 9 in Old Bridge. They answered all of my questions… upfront by phone and e-mail so much so that I knew the exact cost of the car and all of the fees before I ever stepped foot into the dealership. I knew exactly what I was getting into upfront and there were no surprises along the way. On top of that there was no pressure to push me into a sale that night. In the end I got a great deal on my car, but would have been willing to pay more for the comfort they provided.a new satisfied customer

In less than a day I was contacted by Lauren explaining the price plus all the fees needed to… complete the sale. I came to the dealership a few days later and was introduced to Elcris my salesperson. He was extremely knowledgeablle about the product line and was very cordial. I discussed some options I wanted to add and he guided me each step of the way. He did everything he said he would do and more...On the morning of my purchase, I met his Sales Manager Ruben. After going over the price again with additiional options, I bought the car.. To my surprise the car was prepped and options installed in a few hours. I left the Dealership feeling that I now aquired some new friends. I would definitely recommend ACADEMY to my friends. Thank you ACADEMY for making my car buying experience fun and painless. by mokhan4 on 05/04/2008I've owned a Pilot for over a year now and I go to DCH to get my Honda serviced. Every time I've gone there they've treated me politely and have been very good to me. On my first visit there they gave me a card in which they stamp--and if… I go there 3 times to get a oil change, I'll get my fourth one free. Each time I go there they ask me if I have my card or if I need a new one. While getting a regular oil change they'll do extra things--such as topping off liquids, doing a vehicle inspection. They've checked my tires, checked my battery. They have done the little things to make you feel like they pay attention to your car. At the end you'll recieve a checklist of what they did to your car and whether everything is fine.Overall a great, great service they provide. I know I'll be going back to them.Very Easy

by gw463 on 10/03/2007Just purchased a 2008 Accord at this dealership. Although I went looking for a leftover 2007, there were none in stock in the configuration I wanted. I test drove the 2008 LX-P but didn't plan on buying it as Honda usually overcharges for… new models. After talking to the salesman we painlessly negotiated on $700 above invoice and closed the deal. No hidden charges, no gimmicks, no meeting with the finance guy, and no hassle. Just an honest, no pressure sales transaction. I wish all car delers operated like this.Great Experience
by mercara on 07/25/2007I bought my Honda Pilot from DCH Brunswick Honda. I got quotes over the internet and Dan offered me a fantastic price. Based on my prior experience, I was wary of the quote as dealers give you a price to get you in the door and then try to… make more money out of you. When the bill was written up I saw a $199 charge for VIN number etching on the windows. I asked them to remove it and they did it. So I paid exactly the price quoted over the internet and not a penny more. Got a brand new 2007 pilot with about 5 miles on the clock. I am sure different people have different experiences with the same dealer, but based on my experience, I would highly recommend these guys. I haven't done my first service yet, so I will review the service experience after I have completed the service. I got my Honda extended warranty on through another dealer on the web as they offered me a better price than DCH Brunswick Honda.A little less stressful

Although it functions like most other dealers, they make an offer, you counter, and so on the overall process seemed to be easier. I believe I received a fair deal. My salesman was very personable… and easy to work with. I was disappointed the sales manager never came over to discuss anything. It was back and forth with the salesman. I think it would have been easier and friendlier if the manager actually got out from behind his computer.Thank you for your purchase.Your comments will be taken as advisement, Sometimes customers fell more comforatable dealing only with the salepeople but managers are always available and i always ask the managers to greet all customer during the delivery process.

My wife and I had done significant research on the car that we wanted and the out-the-door price we wanted to pay, so… given that the conversation with H.P. (Mr. Harshad P.), who was our sales rep, was very straightforward and smooth. He didn't try to push us in anyway, with the price, additional options and protection packages. We had recently (June 2012) bought a Honda Accord 2012 EX-L V6 also from Open Road Honda in Edison and compared to that experience, this was significantly better from a quality of service, lack of pushiness, and price perspective. Further, I prefer it, when the dealership and sales person is straight forward with their prices and try to get me out of there as soon as possible with the sale and actual finance/check out process - and this dealership did exactly that, which I was grateful for. I would definitely go back to them again for future purchases.Extremely Smooth Transaction - Great job Joe K.

Joe was my sales consultant and the way he handled the transaction was excellent. No upselling… pressures!!! I had a financing deal with my bank, but then Joe had a better deal. So overall, the product is great, Pricing is fabulous and the financing was awesome. What can I say. It was a wonderful buying experience.
